11/07/2026: Absolutely fantastic osteria! Delicious, fresh food, perfect mussels and other frutti di mare, vegetables, and focaccia, even before we ordered. Finished with homemade limoncello. Great place! Thank you to the waiter for the friendly service. I recommend it!

08/07/2026: We ate at Osteria del Leone twice during our holiday in Mesagne! Beautiful terrace with a lovely view of the church. You can taste that everything is freshly prepared; it is very tasty! There was also live music tonight; it was the perfect last evening of the holiday!

15/12/2025: I may be biased, but I feel like complimenting the great staff. For their organization, for their punctuality, for the quality products used on their pizzas... Even though I'm the chef for this fantastic family, I had dinner with my family yesterday... and we had a wonderful evening... The fried pizzas and desserts were excellent... I highly recommend coming here because enjoying a pizza while sitting comfortably in a cozy atmosphere isn't something every pizzeria can offer... Thank you, colleagues and owners, for letting me spend a wonderful evening sitting with my family and enjoying delicious dishes...

13/12/2025: I visited this restaurant for the first time during a dinner with colleagues on the evening of December 12th. I wanted to review this place because I really enjoyed the pizzas (and more), which were excellent in flavor and created with refined, top-quality ingredients. The owner is extremely professional, and his passion for his work shines through in the little touches he gives his customers, such as serving liqueurs (delicious and unique in flavor) and grappa with excellent dark chocolate. A big shout-out to the menu! I can't wait to go back!

03/06/2026: I was there to celebrate an event. There were about 60 of us. It's a beautiful venue in the historic center of Mesagne. It's well-maintained and clean. The service is excellent, starting with the owner, who made us feel right at home. He was very helpful and attentive to our requests. We were able to customize our menu given the wide selection available. The wait staff was very professional, as I imagine the kitchen staff was as well. They were very attentive to guests' requests and to all the allergies and intolerances that unfortunately exist. The quality/price ratio was truly excellent. Thanks again to Minno, his wife, the chef, and all the staff. You're a wonderful team that works together! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The seafood and meat appetizers were delicious; the rice, potatoes, and mussels were very good, the spaghetti with octopus ragù was delicious... I would go back again to try the other dishes. 19/06/2026: One of those places that turns a normal evening into a memorable experience. We stopped here spontaneously and ended up having one of our favourite dinners of the trip. The food was excellent — fresh, authentic, and prepared with real attention to detail (special mention to the salmon, which was outstanding). What made the evening truly special, though, was the hospitality. The owner was incredibly welcoming, introduced us to local specialties, shared stories behind the dishes, and made us feel more like guests than customers. Before we left, he even gave us some local insider recommendations for places to visit during our holiday — such a thoughtful and personal touch. If you’re in the area and looking for more than just a meal, this place is absolutely worth visiting.

Special mention goes to the staff's incredible attention and sensitivity to the food allergies of some guests: they handled the menu variations with utmost care and precision, making us feel at ease and pampered from start to finish. The venue offers a pleasant, elegant, and refined atmosphere, ideal for a family ceremony. The tables were tastefully set. One detail we greatly appreciated was the background music: pleasant and at the perfect volume, so as not to disturb anyone at all and allowing everyone to chat and enjoy the day in complete relaxation. The staff was incredibly helpful, welcoming, always smiling, and impeccably organized. Gianluca, the owner in particular, is truly exceptional: he patiently accommodated all of our numerous requests, managing the timing of the party perfectly, just as we'd requested. What's more, he surprised us by adding some wonderful extra dishes to the menu, without asking for anything extra. A venue that stands out not only for its high level of professionalism, but also for its generosity and humanity. We highly recommend it for any important event! 30/05/2026: A traditional, historic location, expertly renovated to house a restaurant serving premium cuts of meat, as well as appetizers, first courses, and fish-based main courses. It's not your average grill, but a place to enjoy meats never seen before in the area. Not just a simple dinner, but a culinary experience! Great!

05/07/2026: Nothing to complain about the quality and deliciousness of the dishes. The refusal to add a table (there were four of us at an 80x80cm table) because all the tables were booked was unacceptable and unfair. Bottom line: a couple with two children were seated at two tables, and all five available tables remained unused until the end of the dinner. Speechless!!!!!!
