28/08/2024: Simply fantastic experience! It's not the first time in this restaurant and I must say that every time it has been a pleasant confirmation. Very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful staff, in addition to the owner and the all-round manager/chef, always ready to satisfy customer requests! Hot and cold seafood and land appetizers typical of our area. Puglia which you can see from the photos, speak for themselves! Hot bruschetta! Made at the moment! Raw seafood, very clean and the right portions. For the rest, generous portions and high quality. The only flaw is no frying, but I think that's the strong point: there's no point covering the flavor of fresh fish with frying! Grilled fish, octopus, cuttlefish and prawns are 100 thousand times better! The meat alternative is also excellent! Really good fresh shellfish pasta! A nice portion of fruit and all at the right price without exaggerating! Excellent value for money. From appetizer to dessert! Very hot and crunchy dirty muss! Only problem: reservations a little too long, everything is always booked! We waited 3 months but it was worth it! And we have already rebooked!!! 19/08/2024: A place well stocked with all types of meat, even for those with allergies. Regarding that food I must say very good, only for the service which is a bit slow. High quality meat, for what I got I didn't pay much. I took 3 bottles of water, a tartare, 3 steaks, 3 desserts, baked potatoes, and a platter of cold cuts. Very nice environment. Kind service

02/07/2024: I called on a Sunday asking if I was actually talking to the place because the person who answered just said "hello" and I got a rude response saying I had to be quick so I asked if the place was open because on Google it showed as temporarily closed and I got another equally grumpy and rude response saying that since it was Sunday it was normal for it to be open with not exactly kind tones... how can you blame him but then update the Google page!! Moral of the story due to the rudeness and arrogance of those who answered the phone we opted for another place.

21/05/2024: C’è la trattoria alla moda, finta, ove mangiare più o meno come una volta; ma c'è anche la "vera" trattoria, dove il tempo pare essersi fermato e dove, varcando la soglia cigolante di un ingresso antico, pare di entrare in una macchina del tempo e finire in un'altra epoca... questo è l'effetto che fa la Trattoria del cerriglio, ex osteria, dove tutto sembra essere cristallizzato ad un secolo fa. Amatissimo e conosciutissimo in città, il nonno titolare, oste come quelli di una volta, che gestiva l'osteria di famiglia nata nel 1864, ha lasciato la sua eredità morale alla figlia e alla di lei figlia, che continuano oggi a gestire questa piccolissima trattoria come se nulla fosse cambiato da allora. L'aria, gli arredi, i colori, tutto è proprio d'epoca: solo il sorriso della titolare e della figlia sono nuovi e sinceri, come ciò che la casa propone. Pochi piatti, semplici e genuini, niente fronzoli, pulizia e ordine a farla da padrone. Che meraviglia... aggiungete un costo giusto, non troppo basso perché la qualità ha i suoi costi, e uscirete dalla macchina del tempo con un sorriso sulle labbra, un lieve stordimento per l'esperienza vissuta e tanta, tanta voglia di ritornarci. Grazie, davvero grazie di esistere!

01/08/2024: a must in Bisceglie life in the Sant'Andrea area. That is, in the new city. For those who love honest and simple places, where the locals go, this is the best. Overlooking a road widening that is closed in the evening, in good weather and when the weather permits, the street outside is filled with tables, and the corner is among the coolest. The rotisserie is the best! The pizzas are not extraordinary, but not bad either, it depends on your taste. I can recommend IL PANZEROTTO and LA SCROCCHIARELLA, both in slices if available at the counter, and in round 4 pieces or GIANT ones where you can combine different flavours. Very honest prices, quick and friendly table service, always without pretensions. Many families or groups book and therefore you can only hope to find a place if there are two of you. It can also be consumed standing inside. It has a separate kitchen for celiacs.

What makes this place special is the possibility of ordering products made with alternative mixtures (Kamut, hemp, senator hats, wholemeal, spirulina, moringa and more). Highly recommended pizzeria.

22/07/2024: A month ago, I went to the Frantoio Galantino to purchase six packs of specific oil for children, in a half-litre tin. The oil, despite having a considerable cost, seemed to promise high quality and safety for the nutrition of the little ones. However, the overall experience was extremely disappointing. Today, after a month, I went to the Bisceglie showroom to report a serious problem found in all the cans purchased by me and my friends. In each package, the letters and the entire labeling come off easily, ending up in the dishes when seasoning. This is especially bad considering the oil is intended for children, making it difficult to notice if a micro bit of plastic has fallen into the paste. Upon my complaint, the girl present at the showroom minimized the problem, demonstrating a superficial and unprofessional attitude. At my insistence, I spoke to another guy who tried to downplay the problem, stating that it is not plastic but aluminum, as if aluminum were less dangerous for children if ingested. This attitude is absolutely unacceptable. I highlighted the inadequacy of packaging that deteriorates so easily, putting food safety at risk. Despite this, I was simply asked to leave the showroom. This behavior is scandalous and the management of the problem has been inadequate and superficial
