02/10/2025: Excellent food, very fresh fish, impeccable service, location... Unforgettable...

29/09/2025: We went to Ali del Frassino and ordered a first course and a second course each. Unfortunately, one of the first courses arrived only after the other had already finished, somewhat ruining the experience. Furthermore, the waitress who greeted us and took our drinks order wasn't particularly friendly. It's a shame, because in a location like this and given the hefty bill, you'd expect more attentive and cheerful service.

08/11/2025: I went there last night with a friend of mine. Excellent service provided by young people. Excellent food. Recommended.

05/11/2025: A great place for dinner, even with children. There's a playground where kids can play while parents enjoy their dinner.

27/09/2025: We may have been unlucky, but we ordered two pizzas with fresh porcini mushrooms and they literally tasted of nothing, so much mozzarella and you couldn't taste the tomato or the mushrooms, it was like eating water, 45 euros for two pizzas and two beers

14/10/2025: Stayed here for a week. Perfect location and loved Malcesine. Staff from reception to restaurant all very friendly and helpful. The rooms as others mentioned are basic which was fine for us. Our room felt a bit cramped and shower cubicle was tiny. Rooms are super clean 👍, though some TLC is needed with decor and furniture. Great view from the balcony, spoilt by having noisy Aircon unit and pipes sat on the floor next to the table and some issue with a leaking pipe that seemed to have a towel wrapped around it. Ate in the restaurant twice, food was ok but nothing amazing, lack of atmosphere in the back room where we got put twice despite reserving a table in the front part. Preferred more interesting eats out in Malcesine. Breakfasts really good and lots of choice.

10/10/2025: We had a very good meal here—not for the first time. Grilled trout and Fritzi the Mare. It was reasonably priced.

15/03/2025: less than ten minutes total between ordering and cooking to get a fantastic pepperoni and mushroom pizza. i went in and used Google Translate to understand the menu, but they ended up providing me a menu in english which was really helpful. 8 euro for the pizza, and about 1.5 euro for a an orange san pellegrino - i think it was worth it :)

19/11/2025: A very charming osteria in the heart of Peschiera, with a pleasant atmosphere and truly excellent service. The food is also very high quality, with a menu that offers a wide variety of appetizers, first courses, and second courses, both meat and seafood, as well as a selection of pizzas. The tagliolini with venison ragù (sublime) and the meatballs with house sauce are particularly recommended. After payment, the restaurant offers a generous round of liqueurs. Good value, and kudos to the owner for his kindness and dedication to his business!

11/11/2025: We had spaghetti and a pizza. The portion of pasta was large and tasty. The pizza was good, the crust nice and crispy and fluffy. The spot right on the lake is wonderful. The service was poor; not at all attentive, and we had to ask for something several times. It could definitely be better!

07/11/2025: On the recommendation of our landlord...and rightly so. A very good Italian restaurant with outdoor seating right on the water. We went there three times because it was simply delicious. Pizza, pasta, and first-class bread. Prices are reasonable, and the service was excellent. Keep up the good work!

05/10/2025: Perhaps not the best pizzas in terms of quality (but not bad either). Very good value for money and one of the few alternatives these days. Some restaurants in Assenza and the surrounding area have significantly declined in quality.

15/09/2025: We highly recommend this German-speaking, family-run hotel and its restaurant. Great food. We'd give it another star if we could ;) Parking right next to the hotel, rooftop terrace, bike storage, air-conditioned rooms, and new bathrooms... Great location between the larger towns, quiet, and just a short walk across the street to reach the water. Smaller coves invite you to sunbathe or simply relax. Definitely recommend it 👍We'll be back
