28/12/2024: Simply EXTRAORDINARY. During the holidays when I come to visit my in-laws La Vela Blu is a regular stop. Wholemeal, sliced ​​and gluten-free pizzas. Generous in ingredients, very helpful and punctual. The owners are very good people, always kind even with children.

14/01/2025: Siamo stati in questa scomoda piźzsria. Posto da anni sessanta. La pizza e' secca e scadente. Il vino pur essendo nel cuore della valpolicella e' imbevibile. Ma quello che fa aŕabbiare sono i prezzi. 1 bottiglia di acqua a 4 euro?! Pagare col bancomat costa 2 euro?! Ma e' illegale! State lontani da questa bettola!

12/01/2025: We returned to eat pizza after years..... it was better to avoid it!! Small raw and watery. We will certainly not return again and I do not recommend it to anyone.

25/05/2025: I am writing this review with great regret, as it is the first time in five years that I have left a one-star rating. I usually tend to justify a negative experience with a bad day or an isolated incident, but unfortunately in this case I cannot do so. Last night my boyfriend and I had dinner at the Miralago restaurant. We ordered “L’Oasi del Crudo” and, as a second course, the “Catalana Miralago”. Unfortunately, starting with the appetizer, the experience was disappointing: the raw fish was tasteless, every element had the same flavor and seemed obviously defrosted. The Catalana, which according to the menu was supposed to contain lobster, shrimp, scampi, crab, crawfish, razor clams, scallops and canestrelli, was equally anonymous on the palate. Before ordering we had asked for information on the cooking and we were told that the dish was steamed. However, when it was served, it was clear that the preparation was not consistent with what was declared: each crustacean had the typical foam from boiling in water. Furthermore, while we were eating, we noticed the absence of the lobster. When we asked for clarification, the waiter simply replied that there was only lobster on the plate, even though the menu clearly indicated that lobster was also present. Oh, and half of the lobster was also empty! (The tail) was served with the salad on top, so when it arrived we didn't immediately notice that it was empty. The final bill was €133.50 for two people, including a starter of raw ham, Catalana and 4 oysters. At the cashier we reported the lack of lobster and were given a discount of €13.50. Up to this point, despite the disappointment, I would have let it slide. But unfortunately, both my boyfriend and I were very sick during the night: nausea, vomiting and diarrhea, which are still going on as I write this review. Paying a considerable amount for a meal that, in addition to not meeting expectations and the description of the menu, also caused us physical discomfort, is sincerely unacceptable. I am sorry to have to write this, but this experience was truly disappointing in every way

13/05/2025: Very charming place in the lower Veronese, built by recovering an old mill part of a large Venetian courtyard in red bricks. The restaurant is really beautiful, comfortable, you eat well, especially meat-based dishes.

17/02/2025: I arrived at this hotel, everything was very nice, except that I paid for four nights and I could only stay for two without any refund. I returned for another two nights hoping for a bit of a discount but nothing. The lady is very strict and advised me to book on booking.com

05/06/2025: Best pizza in Verona in my opinion. They don't just do takeaway but they also have a very elegant inside seating area. The pizza is delicious and the service is very fast, they also make it with French fries! Highly recommended

14/04/2025: Ho apprezzato molto il locale e l’attenzione del personale: nell’attesa della pizza ordinata, ci hanno servito un analcolico ed un crostino di benvenuto, sebbene nessuno l’avesse chiesto. La pizza, ben cotta, molto leggera e croccante al punto giusto. L'esperienza è stata comunque positiva, il prezzo forse un po’ alto. Sono andata in una sera normale, non giorno di giro pizza.

10/04/2025: Servizio molto disponibile, gentilezza del personale, ottima areazione, ambiente accogliente e pulito. Eravamo in 14 e non tutti sono rimasti soddisfatti della cottura della pizza (alcune pizze erano croccanti altre per niente, l’impasto era identico). Peccato anche che ci fosse solo una Coca Zero disponibile.

31/05/2025: Top location…and not only that! In addition to the beauty of the location, the lake is just a stone's throw away, I appreciated the very good quality of the food and the original presentation in the pan.

12/07/2024: Typical vintage family pizzeria restaurant, excellent vegetarian lasagne (with excellent peas), good pizzas and good beers. External terrace overlooking the hill. Very welcoming service. If you are in a hurry this is not a place for you. Even slowness has its charm.

30/05/2025: We had a cappuccino at 1am – really good! Nice to find a place open so late. Friendly service and a cozy corner for a late coffee in Verona.

24/04/2025: If you go to Verona and want to have a simple lunch away from the chaos, we highly recommend this delightful little bar just a few hundred meters from the centre.
