05/06/2025: Had a lovely meal here this evening, we sat inside as rain was forecast. The space inside looks recently renovated, an old building but modern & clean. The waiter apologised for a delay in taking our order as they had some big tables to look after but we thought it was reasonable. . I had the tenderloin beef with chicory & it’s one of the best meals I’ve had in the last 10 days! We have paid a cover charge in other restaurants in Verona, I think the use of the word SCAM by another reviewer is dramatic, It’s just business and it’s highlighted on the menu. I would go back but we leave tomorrow.

03/06/2025: Pizza & Chips were nice, carbonara had a hair in it & I think sending it back caused some upset as the next one that came out was super salty so we couldn't eat it. The service was poor, the waiter didn't want to come over until we literally asked him to for the hair. Location is nice, but yeah disappointing first meal in Verona. Also they put a bag of bread on your table and if you touch it you pay, but they just walked past didn't say anything and put it there.

25/05/2025: The food is delicious but the pizza arrives uncut and additionally for a table for 5 people you pay 12.5€

22/05/2025: While walking through the streets of Verona, we discovered this small restaurant with a very pleasant terrace, far from the pizza bra crowd. The waitress was very helpful and professional. The food was very good. Good value for money, I recommend it especially if you like pizzas with pistachios 😋

16/04/2025: A RIP-OFF. Bigoli probably pre-packaged, sauces that leave something to be desired (the duck ragú without antra made me die laughing), absurd portions and that don't leave room for an 'all you can eat'. Two pans are enough to satisfy 4 people and make you pay two or three euros more than a single dish. Dirty and burnt tablecloths, not to mention the beer glasses used as glasses for drinks and water. Frayed placemats, dirty and stained chair covers. Fake plants everywhere and covered in dust. I wouldn't recommend it even to my worst enemy.

17/05/2025: We ate at the restaurant and were thrilled because they had gluten-free options. The food was also good. Overall, we enjoyed it.

16/05/2025: Located right next to our hotel, we thought we'd take a look. I was very excited when I saw the menu. Gluten-free heaven. Gluten-free and vegetarian, just the way I need it. When the waitresses noticed that I ordered gluten-free food, they even brought shär crackers to go with my cheeseboard and suggested gluten-free desserts at the end. Unfortunately, I was so stuffed from the best gluten-free pizza I've ever eaten ANYWHERE that I couldn't manage dessert. Even though the crust is frozen. It's definitely not from a chain like shär, because I know the crust. A star

28/05/2025: Tja, ein bisschen crazy und verrückt ist es ja schon bei Mario. Aber herzlich , preiswert und vor allen.....gibt echt leckere Pizza. Ver nicht auf Ete pe tete wert legt und gerne " locker und gut" Pizza essen will ist, der ist hier genau richtig. Mach weiter so Pate :-)

05/05/2025: Excellent restaurant. Ate here twice when visiting Malcesine. Mario and his team provide exceptional service and the food is really good quality at a sensible price. Would highly recommend!

04/06/2025: Ordered a pizza and the chicken cutlet. Food was fine (not great) and served quickly but the atmosphere was very poor. They were blasting some sort of chart music TV channel through horrible tinny speakers throughout the whole place. There was a TV playing the music videos in the outside area. When I asked if it could be turned down / off they told me no even though there were very few other people in the restaurant. Wouldn’t have chosen the restaurant if I’d realised. At the end of the meal the waitress handed my 2 year old a packet of Haribo which I really didn’t appreciate as it’s not something we let her eat but would have caused us a massive headache to take it off her.

02/06/2025: Convenzionati con l'hotel dive soggiornavamo. Insalate nella norma, pizza buona. Prezzi nella norma.molto molto gentile e disponibile il personale. Bella la zona vicino al lago. Consigliato
