Pizzeria Dal Buon Grano In Bovolone

19/12/2023: This pizzeria is more than a pizzeria - it offers the full Italian restaurant menu of pasta and meat and fish dishes as well. It is not fancy, just a down to earth, no nonsense Italian neighbourhood place dispensing good food at good prices. We arrived relatively early on a Saturday night, and had no trouble getting a table, but later on the place was packed. This being such a highly praised pizzeria, we did what we hardly ever do - we ordered a pizza each, rather than sharing one. A Gorgonzola one for me, topped with enough of my favourite cheese to give it a lovely tang. And a veggie Valentina with lots of fresh, slightly bitter rocket and generous shavings of good Parmesan. Both were excellent, with a thin crisp base, and a good crust. A half bottle of a premium Valpolicella went down a treat. As had become a habit whilst in Verona, we finished with tiramisu, another yummy pleasure! Service was brisk, not overly friendly, but efficient and polite. And prices were as modest as the appearance of this pizzeria, but the quality and tasty were fabulous. Our total bill before tip (there is no service charge, just a small amount for the ‘coperto’) was EUR38.50.

18/09/2023: We were recommended this place on our first night by the hotel that we were staying at. We had planned on eating at various places during our stay however Pizzeria Nazioni was so good we ended up going there every night . There was an extensive menu of Pizzas , Pasta dishes , Meat and fish and gourmet options . The Pizzas are some of the best I have ever tasted anywhere all served with perfect glasses of beer . In addition to the excellent food and drink is the friendly and efficient service . The price also represents exceptional value . Really hope to be back there in the future
