25/09/2025: >> Update after 4 years << Unfortunately we can no longer recommend it! The owner has apparently changed. Many restaurants in Venice seem to have only survived Corona by switching to foreign ownership - who hardly speak English anymore and understand even less. The carbonara was an insult to every Italian. Four years ago they were really tasty and prepared with love, gluten-free with spaghetti/fettucini and fried diced ham. Today there was only about 50g of penne with cheap cooked ham, which was swimming in a cheesy soup in a flat plate. I almost cried because I was really looking forward to it after 4 years! 👎🏻😥 The pigeons dance and eat their fill on the tables because no one cares to clear the tables. The operation took almost 1 hour. Considering that there was hardly anything going on in the store. Too bad. - - - - - - - - - - Food is good and even gluten-free (€2 more per meal). Restaurant attracts students outside with student prices that are not recognizable as such. Food costs around €12-15 per meal. Location - beautiful and relatively quiet, away from the tourist district, right next to the university/academy.

02/11/2025: Rude people at the entrance. Not worth it. They barely greeted you upon entering, and their faces were so unpleasant I had to leave. I don't recommend it. Please avoid.

27/10/2025: We ordered lasagna, which was good, mushroom risotto, and a pasta dish, which was also good. Service can be a bit slow when it's crowded.

23/10/2025: The spaghetti carbonara was very good.

01/10/2025: The restaurant is not bad, the atmosphere in the restaurant is quite good, the best thing is the service, the waiter was very attentive, all requests were immediately fulfilled, they gladly seated us at 13.40, they worked until 14.30, although Adriatica, literally 50-100m from them, refused us, saying they were closing, coperto 3 €, probably in this case it is justified, but water at 4 £ a bottle is so-so, coffee - 2 €, also so-so price, especially if you take into account that just 10 years ago coffee in Italian restaurants was free. The food is my weakest point. The pizza wasn't bad, the spaghetti wasn't bad either, and there was a lot of seafood, but for some reason, right at the start, it smelled like it wasn't fresh (seafood). I decided to try it to confirm, but I couldn't taste it. My body felt heavy and unwell, so I didn't have the spaghetti at another restaurant that evening, even though they always had excellent ones. Overall, it wasn't terrible, but I wouldn't repeat it.

18/11/2025: Great pizza. A bit off the beaten track, which makes it very reasonably priced. The service was very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended.

10/10/2025: Very kind, they make you feel at home, truly wonderful people. One evening I couldn't make it in, and they brought it to me despite the late hour. I recommend asking them what day they'll be getting the mozzarella from down there, it's amazing. The Nutella angels are a must-try.
