19/08/2024: Excellent food. For the meat lover. Beautiful Argentinian sirloin steak or steak Americana. And for small prices. Make sure you make a reservation because Italians also like to eat here.
18/08/2024: We found this restaurant by chance, we immediately liked everything about it! The welcome (even though we entered almost at closing time for lunch), the well-kept environment, the wine cellar, the warmth and obviously the food! The pici cacio e pepe are delicious and the homemade tiramisu is absolutely worth trying! Suitable for both a dinner for two and a family with children. The outdoor space with lanterns is also very nice. We will definitely return when we are in the Trasimeno area.

Very nice atmosphere, very good food, excellent service.
27/08/2024: We went in with the idea of getting 2 takeaway pizzas and discovered that in addition to those, everything can be taken away. Even though the restaurant was fully booked, we were very kindly obliged to our request to eat directly there. In the end we chose to eat 2 burgers which were delicious accompanied by equally good beers. To conclude, a nice dessert. Absolutely honest price and priceless courtesy. Highly recommended

Pizza had a nice crispy thin base. Could use a little more flavor.
Staff had poor English, so you had to use Google Translate yourself. Also to be able to read the menu. Otherwise seated well.

12/08/2024: Nice restaurant with garden, also available for those who don't stay overnight. You can choose from a varied meat menu. The appetizer platter for 2 people is spectacular... the ravioli and meat are excellent... very precise service with great attention to the customer... a dinner to pamper yourself at the end of the day!

15/08/2024: I had an unforgettable stay at Palazzo Barbini in Castiglione del Lago! The historic charm of the property, combined with modern comforts, made for a perfect experience. The spacious and beautifully decorated rooms offered stunning views of the lake and surrounding countryside. Brando, our host, was exceptional—warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist with local tips and recommendations. His attention to detail truly made our stay special. The location is ideal, with easy access to the town’s attractions and lovely restaurants. I can't recommend Palazzo Barbini and Brando enough for a relaxing and authentic Italian getaway!
21/07/2024: Great experience!!! Top marks for this ancient residence, visible efforts to keep the furnishings as original as possible. Congratulations for the welcome, the boy of particular education and courtesy. We were welcomed with all the attention, fresh water upon arrival and a delicious coffee upon check out. Top marks to the cook, and all the staff (of the pasta elementary school). I would return to Castiglione just to taste its dishes again (all superb). The spacious rooms, excellent cleanliness, hydromassage tub. Plus coffee, tea, air conditioning. Our little girl slept great on a top-brand sofa bed. The double room of the imperial suite sent us back in time. It gave me the thrill, especially when waking up with
the sound of bells. Very original!!!

27/08/2024: Roovido pizzeria in pieno centro davanti alla Fontana Masini, da quando l attività è stata rilevata dai due nuovi soci, prima vi era un ritornare romagnolo è una tappa fissa per Cesenati e per chi viene da fuori e si vuole gustare un ottima pizza abbinata perché no ad un eccellente cocktail.

Sembravano molto in forma anche i cocktail mas non li abbiamo provati, tuttavia abbiamo optato per le birre che con la pizza dopo addicevano meglio. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. D'estate ci sono i tavolini fuori in piazza e il colpo d'occhio è davvero stupendo. Le pizze: che dire, anche se costose (15-16 euro) sono davvero buone e ne vale la pena, leggerissime e ricette molto ricercate. Bravissimi

31/07/2024: Dopo avere atteso a lungo punti dalle zanzare, arriva una pizza bruciata. Segnalato il disservizio, alla fine te la fanno pagare 5 euro, anziché scusarsi. Questi i limiti di certa ristorazione approssimativa e venale.
