09/11/2025: We went to this lovely restaurant because we were attracted by the photos of the cured meats and pizza. I'll start by saying that I run an agritourism farm. I make cured meats myself, still using traditional methods, and I produce pasta, vegetables, and much more for my guests. I don't do outside catering. I ordered pizza and a cured meat platter. I never leave reviews, but unfortunately, I didn't like the cured meats at all; they lingered in my stomach until the next day. Perhaps they're made from wild animals, but in my opinion, they're industrially processed. Another thing I found inappropriate was the €2 cover charge for paper placemats, a glass, and cutlery on a napkin. The room downstairs, where we were, was a bit cold, while we noticed the upstairs room was much warmer, with background music and much more carefully set tables (I wonder if the cover charge is the same there). The pizza and dessert (pannacotta) were delicious. The tiramisu, a little less so.

17/11/2025: A very welcoming and charming restaurant, with a slightly vintage feel, yet excellent for a dinner with friends or special occasions where you want a bit of privacy. I was there for a business dinner, and the service was excellent from the start, and the food was equally good. The service was friendly, polite, and very polite. I recommend the meat, and a good appetizer with a mix of local cured meats and cheeses. For dessert, I had a delicious tartlet, beautifully filled.

20/10/2025: Had dinner with friends a few nights ago in a beautiful and welcoming location in Beruilles (between San Teodoro and Budoni). The pizzeria is expertly managed by owner Michele and his wife, who create a family-friendly, welcoming, yet refined atmosphere. The pizza is excellent thanks to the ingredients selected by Michele, who kneads the dough 24 hours in advance, making his pizza easy to digest and delicious. Excellent prices. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Congratulations!

The dishes reflect the heart of the local tradition; I found the ingredients to be of the highest quality. The service is excellent: fast, warm, and familiar. I highly recommend it to anyone passing through the area. It's a distinctive place offering a wide selection of food and wine! A place that leaves its mark.

22/09/2025: An authentic and genuine culinary experience, far from the chaos of the city and immersed in the tranquility of the Umbrian countryside, Ristorante Pizzeria San Bartolomeo, located on the Strada Statale della Contessa, is a stop well worth considering. San Bartolomeo's strong point is undoubtedly its cuisine, firmly rooted in local traditions with a wide array of dishes, from classic Umbrian first courses featuring homemade pasta to grilled meat main courses (they also serve pizza, but I haven't tried it). The restaurant's atmosphere is rustic, welcoming, and familiar. The staff is friendly, efficient, and helpful. The atmosphere is typical of old-fashioned trattorias. The quality-price ratio is excellent, with prices fair and appropriate for the quality and size of the portions. The service is quick and attentive.

24/10/2025: It's the fourth time I've been there and as far as quality and service are concerned, there's nothing to complain about, just that (at least for my pockets) I can't afford it... spending €103.00 for 4 pizzas, 2 beers, 2 desserts and 1 coffee makes me think that it has become a place suitable for people with higher incomes than mine💁‍♂️

11/09/2025: Extraordinary restaurant with a breathtaking view. Every dish that we have ordered was simply amazing and one of a kind. The waitress was constantly smiling, you could feel that they pour their heart and soul into this place. Essence of the Italy.

05/11/2025: We did not have lodgings but had a wonderful dinner. We were 8 service great, wine list good & fair & meat is way to go. I had beef tartar as appetizer , best ever & it’s my thing. Chef on grill knows what he is doing. Most family had steaks - special compliment to the filet cut. I had the aged & marbeled rib eye & was good but in retrospect - I’m going filet next time. Strong recommend

02/11/2025: Three stars thanks to the restaurant (which alone is worth five, for the quality of the food and the professionalism of the staff. Highly recommended). As for the farmhouse, it's a real shame. The property deserves it, but the cleanliness isn't up to par. We appreciate the manager's intervention, which, following our report, immediately resolved the issue. However, greater attention to cleanliness would be desirable, to enhance and restore the property's splendor.

19/09/2025: Few first courses but all refined

15/09/2025: I playfully tried to find a flaw in this place, and... I couldn't! Sesto Canto is spacious, elegant, and welcoming, with plenty of seating, including outdoor seating. The menu is refined yet affordable, the pizzas are truly excellent (the dough is simply divine!), and the service is quick and friendly, despite the high attendance. The quality-price ratio is also excellent. If I return to Città di Castello, I'll definitely stop by to try the other specialties on the menu. And if one day I end up in the Sesto Canto's infernal circle... well, at least it will have been for a pizza like this: it will have been worth it! 🍕🔥

19/11/2025: I just left. We were pleasantly surprised. The appetizer was amazing, the ravioli stuffed with lamb and spinach were delicious, and the lamb was amazing. The service was attentive, friendly, and very attentive. In short, we'll be back. As usual, the bill was higher than expected. I have my own VAT number and am keeping the rates from 20 years ago. I'm stupid, but I can't raise the prices. But it's like this everywhere these days, and you can't get anywhere for less than 40 euros a head. But if you're satisfied, that's fine. 09/10/2025: I 100% recommend the pinsa and the crispy sfogliatella. Unfortunately, I don't recommend the pasta. But the place is very nice and the waiters are very kind.

09/11/2025: Everything was very good, to be a little picky, there were 2 errors in the service, the first was that they forgot to mark the pasta for my daughter and it arrived a little late, the other error was that we ordered the vegetables, which never arrived, but then were present on the bill, but the lady was very kind, she apologized and immediately removed it from the total for the rest, highly recommended.
