15/02/2025: I ate a good pizza in this place, with good service. I'm sorry about the environment, which perhaps could do with a little sprucing up. Prices in my opinion below average, therefore excellent!!!

09/02/2025: Ci vado frequentemente e mi trovo bene, salvo inquinatori dell'aria, maleducati che fumano mentre la gente mangia. Purtroppo non esiste, come in Austria, il divieto di fumare, anche all'aperto, dove si mangia.

12/01/2025: Cordialità zero, pizza solo decente, prezzi esagerati, sono abituata a pagare anche per l'acqua di rubinetto, ci sono da lavare i bicchieri, ma la cifra è esagerata.

30/01/2025: Locale ideale per chi vuole gustarsi un aperitivo con vista sulla centralissima piazza Walther nel cuore del centro storico di Bolzano. Oltre ad i classici aperitivi, il locale offre una buona carta dei vini ricca di cantine locali. Molto buono il rapporto qualità/prezzo considerando la centralità della location, molto apprezzati gli stuzzichini serviti con l'aperitivo. Per chi volesse prolungare l'aperitivo con la cena/pranzo, il locale dispone di una sala ristorante dove, oltre ad i piatti della cucina locale, si può mangiare una pizza.

24/03/2025: The pizza is highly recommended. The atmosphere is lovely and very well-maintained. Unfortunately, we felt rather intrusive as guests. The service, I think it was the owners, was very dismissive and made you feel unwelcome. We certainly won't be coming back.

Furthermore, you can also have rectangular pizzas measuring half a meter up, with deep dough. Large room, but better to book.

17/03/2025: Not very cozy, meat-oriented restaurant. The radio plays old rock music in the dining room, with advertising included. Nice for the kitchen, but it is rather unsuitable for a dining room. The wait staff didn't seem very attentive either. A yeast wheat beer came as a bottle with an empty glass, instead of simply being served in a glass. During the meal they didn't even ask if everything was OK, if it tasted good, or if anything was missing. Also disturbing: the four people from the team sit at a round table at the front of the room and discuss some things in an annoyed tone. I don't understand Italian, but I at least understand that such conversations are not done in the company of guests. My general impression is that this is not a catering operator who is passionate about running the shop. By the way, the food was OK, but not outstanding. But he wasn't interested in that at all, not even when he was clearing away. My tip to the team: a first aid course in gastronomy. Edit after the boss's answer: Gaslighting at its finest. Classic Rock Radio was definitely playing there (Total eclipse of the heart for example.) Decades of imagination is also an education.

23/02/2025: I was recently in this restaurant and I can say that it was a truly pleasant experience. The service is impeccable: the staff is kind, attentive and always available. As for the food, the pizzas are excellent, with a variety of options to suit every taste. The meat is perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful. The environment is also very welcoming, with a well-furnished room and a warm atmosphere that makes everything even more pleasant. Without a doubt recommended for an evening in good company!

09/11/2024: A place I frequented several years ago, and as then you can count on the tasty pizzas and the kindness of the staff. I chose Gambrinus to celebrate my father's birthday, he was very satisfied with the tagliolini with sea bass, while my mother and I went without fail with the pizzas. At the end of the dinner, an exquisite tiramisu could not be missing 😋😋

23/10/2024: Den Gambrinus gibt es in Bozen schon seit meiner Kindheit und er ist fast so alt wie das benachbarte Siegesdenkmal auf dem gleichnamigen Platz. In früheren Jahren war es eine Institution und ein gastronomisches Juwel in der Stadt. Jetzt, nach so vielen Jahren, spürt es die Last der gastronomischen Entwicklung und hat sich leider nicht an die Zeit angepasst. Auf jeden Fall haben wir hier letzte Woche nach einer langen Reise zu Abend gegessen, und ich kann sagen, dass mein Gefühl richtig ist. Man hat das Gefühl, dass die Zeit hier stehen geblieben ist. Das familiengeführte Restaurant ist immer noch lebendig, weil es kein Personal hat und die Mutter immer noch serviert und alles koordiniert, obwohl sie schon über achtzig Jahre alt ist. Das Essen ist traditionell und hausgemacht, gut, aber nicht besonders gut. Die Preise sind erstaunlich niedrig. Pizzen von 6,50-11,00 und Nudeln um die 12 € - unglaublich. 14/02/2025: In 2025, in a dirty place without ventilation, dogs are still not allowed. Invited to have lunch with some people, I had to sit in a cold and badly furnished veranda, always accompanied by the nauseating smell of the unsuccessful kitchen. But dogs aren't allowed in anyway! I naturally wonder who is dirtier and ruder. Among other things, there are no signs at the entrance prohibiting their presence. I would be curious to see the municipal ordinance that establishes the hygiene rules and access to dogs in this place. And I would also be tempted to contact the health authorities for a good inspection of the kitchen premises.

28/01/2025: They charge for tap water it's all frozen I saw things taken from the frizzer the chips were raw and the fish was burnt and full of oil, and they haven't changed the oil in a long time because the oil was black

09/02/2025: I have already come here three-four times to eat pizza, both in the evening and for lunch (on Sunday). The pizza is nice and thin, crunchy and tasty. Not burned underneath, super. Wood-fired oven. The service was kind and friendly. Fair price. The place is certainly still furnished a little from the 80s but it is well kept. I always gladly come back here!

07/03/2025: The price of a Napoli pizza was a little too expensive, 11.50 euros, the problem was that since it wasn't on the menu I didn't know the price otherwise I wouldn't have taken it, I think the cost of a 0 coke in a bottle was excessive, 5 euros
