14/07/2026: As part of our work as official food critics, we visited and reviewed Pizzeria Erika. Pizzeria Erika impressed us across the board. The food was excellent, the ingredients fresh, and the dishes delicious. The service deserves special mention. Even though we arrived shortly before closing time, the waiter greeted us warmly and seated us without hesitation. This hospitality and attentive service are anything but standard. The pleasant atmosphere and the high quality of the food made our visit perfect. We wholeheartedly recommend Pizzeria Erika and will gladly return.

10/06/2026: Excellent pizza, I haven't had a pizza like this in a long time. Easy to digest and filled with top-quality ingredients. Now they're moving to Rovereto, we'd definitely visit them there. The staff is extremely kind and friendly.

We dropped by spontaneously without a reservation, but they still managed to get us a great table, and the staff quickly rearranged things for us. Simply fantastic! The food was absolutely delicious, and the wine was excellent. The Primavera cutlet was amazing. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

22/06/2026: I went to this restaurant for pizza. The pizza looked very inviting, but I had a bit of a hard time digesting it. Otherwise, the atmosphere was very pleasant and the staff were friendly.

20/06/2026: What a huge disappointment! When I pulled off the highway to a restaurant that was listed on Google Maps as open until 8:00 PM, it was actually closed. Dear owners, it's not enough to just stick a sign on the closed door. Respect your customers' time and money and update your restaurant's listing! I don't recommend taking the risk and pulling over like I did.

15/07/2026: Highly recommended. Great service, friendly staff, excellent pizzas, and a fantastic view. My absolute favorite is the Pizza Haway. Not just the classic ham and pineapple, but also the banana and curry version. Incredibly delicious, and so far, this is the only place I've ever eaten it on vacation. You can sit comfortably on the lovely outdoor terrace and enjoy the great view.

31/07/2026: Amazing place. We stayed in a hotel nearby and decided to walk to this place at 10 pm based on the reviews and we were not disappointed. Friendly staff, fast service and delicious pizza. Most importantly the menu is translated to english and the staff speaks English as well.

I've eaten there for three days in a row!!! The ambiance is great! The service is great! Even the restrooms are large and beautiful! This restaurant is perfect! The best Italian restaurant I've ever eaten at!!!

21/07/2026: This restaurant-pizzeria is located a few kilometers from San Candido, near the Austrian border. The place is spacious, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The service is quick and courteous. We tried the pizzas and desserts. The pizzas are thin and very good, and there's a wide selection. The desserts are generous and delicious. We'll definitely be back to try the restaurant's dishes. A must-try if you're in the area.

02/08/2026: A restaurant where you can truly relax! A charming interior and a compact outdoor seating area facing the street. We always felt comfortable and welcome during our multiple visits. Friendly service, authentic Italian cuisine, and English-speaking staff. The pizza and pasta are highly recommended and delicious. The restaurant is quite busy, so reservations are advisable, or be prepared to wait. We'll definitely be back!

23/06/2026: Andrea, the proprietor of this restaurant, is truly in a class all of his own. This meal felt like visiting a long lost relative, and being invited into their home. The food was absolutely delicious – my son even went so far to say it was the best pizza he had had an all of Italy! The passion that Andrea has in the procurement of local ingredients and having personal relationships with each of the vineyards on his menu was moving and made this experience all the more heartfelt. Aside from the fantastic service, delicious preparations, lovely interior, perfect wine pairings, and prime location close to where we were staying ( the HI hotel ), I would say it was worth visiting Bouganville just for the opportunity to talk to Andrea as he is such an incredible person and has such a great story to tell. This was one of the last meals we had in Italy before returning home. If there’s anything I can say that I learned from our many meals across this beautiful country, it’s that each meal should be taken slowly and enjoyed not only in taste, but in soaking the atmosphere. Many of the restauranteurs and those that work at their establishments are so proud to serve and be part of your day. Ask questions, be humble, try to learn a few polite phrases in the language of wherever you are visiting. Don’t bring your own ideals and sensibilities to the places you travel, but allow these places to shape you and imprint themselves upon you. As they say, don’t be a tourist, be a traveler. And make sure to ask Andrea about the best wine to go with your meal.
