First-class service
15/02/2026: We stayed for one night thanks to winning an Enel competition.
We were welcomed with professionalism, friendliness, and the utmost helpfulness by all the staff in a refined and characteristic location. Special mention goes to the restaurant manager, who went out of his way to accommodate my wife's dietary needs.
If the opportunity arises, we will gladly return.

08/04/2026: Great restaurant with incredibly delicious pizza, and the staff is absolutely lovely. We ate here several times during our holiday – simply fantastic. Even our dogs were treated like royalty. Highly recommended!

04/04/2026: Perfect as always. A wonderful welcome... after all, the team has been here for 20 years in a row. Efficient service and a Polish menu, although the Italian one is better in my opinion. The carbonara, which isn't on the menu, is heavenly, and the pizzas are well-balanced.
Delicious wine, good beer.
I recommend this place as a typical Italian, local restaurant and pizzeria.

15/03/2026: I can only comment on the food, as we only had pizza. The service was very helpful and friendly, and the prices were quite reasonable. Parking is limited and hard to find; it's best to walk. As for the pizza itself – simply fantastic – everything was delicious and fresh.
15/03/2026: Going out to eat with a group of 36 people is quite something. For the staff here, it was no problem. Fantastic food, cheerful staff, and lots of fun.

21/04/2026: We ate here twice in four days. They were closed the other two days ☺️. They have delicious pizzas and salads. With very friendly and helpful staff, we easily got two plates with our dishes to share. This is a real winner.

Visually and in terms of taste, it was basically great, but canned mushrooms, are you serious? That's unacceptable to me. But as I said, my son's Siciliana was really good.

03/05/2026: Pizza dinner on May 2, 2026. The atmosphere was quite intimate, with smiling, friendly, and attentive service! After a homemade carpaccio appetizer (worthy of note!), we ordered the mountain pizza and the devil pizza... I think they were among the best pizzas we've ever eaten! Truly exceptional! Despite being very rich (with Sesto cheese), they were also very easy to digest! Compliments to the pizza chefs! Highly recommended!
06/04/2026: Four of us had lunch, with various first and second courses.
Everything was very good.
The prices were a bit high compared to a few years ago, when they were better than other nearby restaurants.

The arugula and radishes in the bacon dumplings with salad weren't fresh.
The chef claimed everything was fresh from the salad bar and didn't take the feedback seriously.
The servers were very friendly and attentive.

06/05/2026: I don't know if there's been a migration of Neapolitan pizza makers to Trentino, but the highly hydrated dough offered for their pizza doesn't make you miss the real Neapolitan pizza at all.

The offer of alternative dishes to pizza is a bit weak, but if you want to nitpick...

05/04/2026: Spectacularly rude service. The waiter was rude, argumentative and gave us an impression that he wanted to start a fight by insulting my wife on multiple occasions. He was talking to himself when clearing an empty table next to us. He was making unsolicited comments about some of our half eaten plates. No idea how this place has such a high rating on Google. Perhaps we were just very unlucky with our waiter and the rest of the staff are doing a professional job.

12/05/2026: The food, staff, and ambiance are top-notch. I've never eaten such a good carbonara as at Meraner. Attentive and witty staff, along with huge, delicious dishes, make this restaurant a truly special experience. I think reservations are necessary, as it's completely booked even during the week.
For 30 to 40 euros per person, you get an appetizer, beer and mixed drinks for two, and, for example, spaghetti with seafood (including a generous amount of very fresh mussels) and one carbonara. If you just want pizza and a drink, it's 20 euros. And the pizzas are quite large with plenty of toppings.
