05/10/2025: A truly terrible experience to forget... yesterday Saturday evening, we arrived at the pizzeria (after booking by phone) to spend a quiet evening with a group of friends and there were 7 of us and the staff immediately seated us at table 41, where we were practically attached to another table (I think 42 or 40), that table was already occupied by 8/10 customers and they were ahead of us in terms of orders... a guy at that table got up several times and without asking to be able to move (because the chairs were practically touching each other), he took off my jacket that I had hanging on the chair. So far, so tolerable... when the pizzas arrived at our table and we were starting to eat, a waiter approached the other table in question with a cake. It was clear they were celebrating a birthday. As they continued to take photos of the cake with the birthday girl, they lit some cake lighters. Once they went out, they smoked out the entire room (indoors), and the smoke itself (very annoying) gave off a strong burning smell, poisoning everyone at the adjacent tables, especially ours, which was practically next to theirs. All my friends and I felt sick, and almost all of us left the pizza because the unpleasant odor from the lighters was so strong that we couldn't breathe, much less continue eating. At this point, I decided to go to the pizzeria owner to point out the above-mentioned facts. He calmly and unconcernedly replied, "I can't do anything about it; the law allows it." Noticing this person's complete ignorance on the matter, I replied that we weren't against celebrating in a closed room, but the table where we were celebrating could be moved somewhere else, perhaps a little quieter, given that the canisters had caused such inconvenience. However, the owner continued to ignore my comments and pushed me aside. I just want to appeal to the pizzeria owner, who states that the canisters cause combustion and an unpleasant odor that can be considered an olfactory nuisance under Article 674 of the Italian Criminal Code. 15/12/2024: Siamo andati in questo posto perché da tempo ne avevamo sentito parlare ,siamo arrivati con grande curiosità e aspettative ma ci ritroviamo a dover fare delle puntualizzazioni . Per quanto riguarda la location ambiente accogliente ,personale poco professionale,per quanto riguarda il cibo gli antipasti buoni anche se troppo moderate le quantità ,j primi il cous cous era buono , le busiate con la salsiccia scarna e i fusilli con la zucca non legavano con il condimento ,i secondi e il dolce ok . Nota dolente per quanto riguarda il vino in quanto telefonicamente mi è stato riferito che era compreso nel prezzo ,invece nel momento del conto ci rendiamo conto che era a parte circa 18 euro la bottiglia . Per quanto mi riguarda non considero professionale e seria un informazione telefonica illusoria. Quando ho riferito al proprietario l accaduto prontamente mi ha risposto che avrebbe richiamato il personale ma credo che nessun impiegato abbia voce in capitolo o prenda iniziativa di questo tipo. Qualità prezzo non proporzionato .

14/09/2025: Excellent pizza! We booked a table for two adults and a child since it was Sunday. The pizza was really good, the tomato mix made the difference.

03/09/2025: Hosted as a pizzeria, the cooking is top-notch and the toppings are rich and high-quality. Regarding the dough, I noticed that it isn't stable: one day it was Neapolitan-style, nice and thick and soft, and the next day it was thinner and tougher to cut. You can also find lactose-free mozzarella, with a price difference I'm not used to paying—a whopping €2.50! All in all, it's still an excellent pizzeria, even if the prices are a little above the local average.

24/09/2025: I've been back three times. It would have been four without the weekly closure on Mondays. A small restaurant in the center, with easy paid parking on the waterfront. Everything was excellent, from the busiate pasta to the fish and pizza. The (local) wines were also worth it. The quality/price ratio was absolutely excellent for me, accustomed to Rome, and we tried everything from fish to pasta to pizza, including fried foods.

03/08/2025: Semplicemente eccezionale! Personale gentile, disponibile e con molta cura nei confronti del cliente, che dimostrano in ogni piccolo dettaglio. Io sono un'amante della pizza e qui ho mangiato la pizza più buona della mia vita! Alta, biscottata fuori e morbida dentro. Lievitata perfettamente, cosa che si può vedere dalle bolle sul bordo che restano vuote (come il pane). Saporita, ma non salata, gustosa e altamente digeribile, nonostante il lievito mi crei qualche problema, questa pizza non mi ha gonfiata affatto. Ci ritornerò sicuramente, già solo lei vale tutto il viaggio!

09/10/2025: Recommended food, which we found to be generous in portion size and great tasting. Local regional food, what we were looking for. Easy location to find.

07/10/2025: The food is quite good, the head waiter not so much, and at the end you can't shake the feeling that you've been ripped off a little. Probably not a place with a regular clientele.

09/10/2025: I got takeout pizza from this Calvino location on Via Fardella, and I have to say it's delicious, almost as good as the historic one in the center! 😋 The dough is light, well-cooked, and has that authentic flavor that only Calvino can deliver. Every bite confirms why it remains one of the best pizzerias in Trapani ❤️‍🔥 The only downside? The wait: there's always a huge line, but it's absolutely worth it! 🔥 Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy a true Trapani pizza, even for takeout! 🍽️👏
