professionalism below zero
14/06/2024: Terrible place, we went to eat and ordered, there were 5 of us, two children didn't eat anything. The other three people, 2 people ate 4 wedges which aren't even a whole pizza and the other took 4 pieces of focaccia. We were paying and they made the two children who didn't eat anything pay 7 l each, it's a shame they didn't get anything and they pay well then for 4 slices of pizza they charged 14 euros, not even if I had done a pizza tour you didn't even deserve it one star for the person who paid and felt the solids were stolen well I've never seen a place like this where they charge even if you dirtied your plate and the chips which were very small they charged you 7 euros and it's an incredible thing well you didn't deserve it not even a star.

25/08/2024: Levando la grazia del signore era tutto da buttare . L antipasto di pesce sapeva di tutto tranne che pesce la pasta d'Aragona con tonno , pomodorini e altro non aveva sapore di niente. Peccato che devo date per forza un pallino perché non mi faceva pubblicate.

Personale super indaffarato ma poco cordiale.
Abbiamo preso tonno grigliato...cottura media...era molto cotto e duro da masticare.
Mi dispiace perché ha una bella posizione in piazza ma se questa è la qualità....ovviamente non sappiamo le altre pietanze come sono ma saper cucinare il tonno mi pare la base per la ristorazione in Sicilia.

Every time I return to Ortigia, an obligatory stop, I ate a fish soup, spaghetti with swordfish and cherry tomatoes, a Sicilian salad and to say that it was all excellent is an understatement.......5 stars!
29/08/2024: Said day One pizza was okay maybe a 3 2 was a sink on Bred, Wine Got servede in the glas, and was only good for salat, the kids an the floor did okay but the Leader Got more folks to go then stay, Said the croust was okay 😉

25/07/2024: We went for dinner, we ordered a bit of everything, the seafood salad had no flavour, the pasta was too al dente and tasteless, the owner was very friendly, in fact I think it's the only strong point together with the service, the bill was too expensive, low quality and exaggerated prices

02/08/2024: Highly recommended! If you're in the area, check it out. A real authentic place, with a fantastic boss lady who gave us a soft drink after ordering in the heat. It's good to see that there are still such real, full-blooded caterers. The place is clean, the pizza is extra delicious. Try!!

20/08/2024: You are shameful as well as not deserving stars, you don't even deserve to put out tables and to pass yourself off as a restaurant is a luxury that you shouldn't even see on television. Not to mention the rudeness that a RESTAURANT would not even imagine having towards customers. Then showing up in slippers and a sweaty t-shirt says it all.
SHAME.
It's not my habit to get up from the table and leave.
20/08/2024: Really bad. Let me start by saying that I am Sicilian and I know the difference between a decent dish and one that isn't. I'm giving one star because obviously you can't do less. My 10 year old brother would have cooked better that plate of spaghetti with clams that I paid €12!!!!. It looked like dog food, and neither. I don't think I've eaten so badly in my life. For the good of the world, these places should be revisited, because it really takes very little effort to do better than this. This place isn't a tourist trap, it's a sucker trap, and I felt like a fool for having dined in this place.

17/07/2024: Durch Zufall drauf gestoßen, weil wir nichts anderes finden konnten, das noch offen hatte 14:15 Uhr ca.) Ausgezeichnetes Essen zu einem guten Preis - Bruschetta al pomodoro, Cozze a zuppa zum Niederknien, Spaghetti alle vongole & Spaghetti al nero di seppia (ganz frisch). Service war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Der Ausblick auf Syrakus ist wunderschön und lässt einen den leider verdreckten Strand neben dem Lokal (gehört nicht dazu!) fast übersehen. Das Lokal selbst ist sehr groß und etwas "verwinkelt", aber sauber. Wir haben draußen auf der Terrasse gegessen und würden wiederkommen, würden wir morgen nicht schon abreisen.
14/07/2024: Do not go to this restaurant if you want friendly, pleasant service, or if you don’t speak Italian. We arrived and were completely ignored by all the waiting staff. When we finally were allocated a table again we were ignored. I had to go up to the counter to ask for a bottle of water given that it was an extremely hot day. It seemed like none of the staff wanted to be there. They all appeared extremely grumpy. On the plus side, at least the food was good, but it was definitely not an enjoyable experience.

03/06/2024: La più orribile cena di pesce fatta in vita mia …. Mi dispiace difficilmente lascio recensioni negative ma ho buttato 55 euro per andarmene a casa insoddisfatta e pronta a prendere acqua e bicarbonato …
Tartara di salmone immangiabile e poi quando mai si fa una tartara con salmone affumicato ?
Insalata di polpo quella che trovate nei comuni banchi frigo dei supermercati con croccante di verdure che erano solo delle zucchine tagliate spesse e crude quelle che usano per fare l antipasto in pastella per internderci … non dico che doveva essere appena pescato ma almeno se non hai pesce fresco compra quello surgelato e gli dai una bollita di cui alla cassa 15 euro ma nel menu 13… i marinati mangiati solo le alici che li conosco in quanto li compro al supermercato il resto lasciati sul piatto e la cosa interessante che il cameriere nonostante abbia visto i piatti “schifiati “ non ha nemmeno chiesto se qualcosa non andasse … mai piu …
13/04/2024: Siamo andati al giardino di medea in occassione del pranzo pasquale.
Tutte pietanze ottime però, secondo me, si poteva fare qualcosa più di elaborato.
Maccheroni al sugo, dai, si possono fare tranquillamente a casa...
Per il resto tutto molto buono e prezzo più che onesto..

09/08/2024: La collocazione del ristorante, di fronte la Cattedrale di San Nicolò è assolutamente invidiabile, ma è, tristemente, la sola ed unica nota positiva.
Tutto il resto è... insapore, di qualità asintomatica.
