19/03/2025: Se vuoi mangiare una buona pizza ad Augusta devi venire qui ...al Red Lions. Lo dico non solo da napoletano Doc,ma da persona che gira e mangia dappertutto. Di solito vengo da solo, questa volta ho portato con me un amico/ collega,non napoletano, ma che ha molto gradito. Tutto buono e curato...una piccola nota al conto....un piccolo sconto l'avrei gradito almeno quanto la pizza....

08/12/2024: Pizzeria storica di Augusta negli anni 90 era la numero uno ora sta perdendo qualche colpo. Mi dispiace dirlo è una pizza che rimane agli anni 90. Però buono cercate di fare una pizza gourmet un consiglio di una persona che apprezza la pizza.

04/05/2025: I couldn't have made a better choice to celebrate an important family occasion. the external and internal location is very well looked after down to the smallest details... very nice inside with elegant chairs covered even for small receptions. The very kind and impeccable staff from whom you don't have to ask anything because they do everything. The owner is available and attentive to every request. Then what can I say, the pizza is the best in Syracuse....light and crunchy at the same time and with the right leavening. Congratulations to all the staff... we will definitely be back.

13/03/2025: We were there to celebrate Valentine's Day with a group of friends.... simple environment and without particular luxuries. All in all, a nice evening.

17/08/2024: Kiosk located in the square in front of the Santa Croce lighthouse in Augusta. We are talking about a seasonal business open only for the summer period. I'll start by talking about the food. Here you eat the classic Schiacciata filled with condiments of your choice, and I must say one of the best I've eaten. Family run, they are well organized in taking orders, charging and then bringing the food to the table. To order, you need to have the menu sheets and select the Schiacciata with the condiments to add, also the appetizers such as chips, and another sheet for the drinks. In my opinion, they could improve orders by avoiding the long queue that is created at the checkout, perhaps dedicating a checkout for the squash and another for the bar. On busier days, prior table reservation is mandatory. If you arrive around 9pm on weekends, arm yourself with a lot of patience so that you won't eat before 10/10.30pm. Therefore, regulate yourself. Medium/high prices. However, I really liked the lighthouse flatbread, I will definitely go back.

11/05/2025: Today 11/5 had lunch at the Taverna dei due mari (lunch regularly booked) poor food quality, slow service, I don't think I will return to this place 😡😡😢

03/06/2025: Food is very good and big portion! We tried the Lasagne and the spaghetti bolognese. Both were very tasty! Not expensive at all. Highly recommend if you are in Ortigia!

12/03/2025: We chose the restaurant based on the good reviews. Unfortunately, I can't understand it at all. The service was bored and disinterested, Sicilian specialties were basically out. A wet plate with wet packets of salt came to the table without comment with bread and half a bottle of oil. I would have liked to have ordered olives and a piece of peccorino cheese as the bread was fresh and delicious. The waiter didn't look at us, even though we and two others were the only guests. A simple insalata mista for €10 consisted of a flat dessert plate, also flatly filled. Then some iceberg lettuce and some radiccio. The main course, touristy calamari fritti, was OK, but overpriced for the quantity and simplicity. It's a shame, with more interest in the guest we could have overlooked such mistakes. And we would have liked to have left money for la dolce vita if it had been available!!

25/05/2025: Una poesia: il posto è molto caratteristico, ma quello che fa davvero la differenza è la qualità die piatti e la gentilezza del gestore e dello staff. Ci hanno proposto un vino strepitoso (Sciallii- tenute Mokarta) davvero insuperabile (ne abbiamo subito acquistato 12 bottiglie bianco e rosato). Siamo stati davvero bene: consigliatissimo!

19/05/2025: Jolie terrasse, carte plutôt interessante et puis c'est tout. Des chats qui tournent autour des tables, se lavent, vomissent...Sincèrement il y a plus agréable comme spectacle lors d'un dîner. Personnel efficace mais déagréable, aucun sourire, aucun mot gentil. La planchette de fromages et charcuterie à 18€ c'est un piège à touristes dans lequel nous sommes tombés. La pizza doit provenir de Domino's. Par contre les pâtes étaient vraiment délicieuse. De loin le moins bon restaurant de notre séjour.

05/12/2024: Locale bellissimo in ottima posizione. Ci sono stata per la prima volta su consiglio di amici e il menù di pesce che ho provato era ottimo. Porzioni abbondanti e buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Per me, merita una visita.

31/12/2024: Good pizza, helpful service, but seven euros for a handful of rocket has a boomerang effect for the place, and a bitter taste in the mouth for customers... Even if we pay without looking at the receipt.

12/04/2025: Not the best experience, the food was pitiful and had limited portions, the rooms were too small to have all those beds and also the swimming pool was closed The sea is unreachable on foot and if you try to do so it is extremely dangerous

12/04/2025: 1 star because 0 cannot be given. Rooms not clean, shower that needed 20 minutes to let out the hot water, dinner that was unacceptable and miserable. Not recommended for schools and children. The only positive note...when we left

20/05/2025: Avoid, the wine is a disgusting mixture of water and white wine. The pizzas are the worst I've ever had. They offer wine on the menu and draft beers that they don't have. The Diavola pizza is the worst of all. The setting is pleasant. Catch the idiots... move on...

15/05/2025: We were so fortunate to stay steps away from this wonderful family owned restaurant! My husband described the mussels as the best he had ever had! Pasta & pizzas are also excellent.
