12/03/2024: We stayed in magnificent Alghero and were advised on wines and typical dishes several evenings. Excellent cuisine and prices. Highly recommended

07/04/2024: We went to the place around half past ten, which luckily was still operational. I ordered a dish consisting of hamburger and chips. Upon my request to grill the hamburger again, which in my opinion was undercooked, I was kindly told that there was no problem, and then returned after about ten minutes with a larger plate with more chips and the hamburger as before (complete with ketchup well positioned on top as I had placed it before requesting a second cooking). I had dinner only with the chips leaving the hamburger on the plate.

30/03/2024: Although the shopping center seems almost abandoned, the place is very popular, with tables also outside. Good pizzas and not bad desserts. Friendly staff.

25/10/2023: Die äußerst guten Bewertungen können wir nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Die Pizza sowie der Großteil der Fischplatte waren sehr gut. Das Ambiente und der Service haben uns angesprochen. Daher vergeben wir 4 Sterne. Hinsicht Preise und den anderen Speisen ist das Restaurant vergleichsweise aber nur guter Durchschnitt. Die Fischvorspeise war relativ langweilig, die Ravioli mit Lammragout gewöhnungsbedürftig und das vor Fett treifende Kinderschnitzel ohne Wiederholungsgefahr. Die Insel hat kulinarisch deutlich mehr zu bieten.

10/10/2023: Abbiamo festeggiato qui il primo ottobre il nostro matrimonio, non potevamo chiedere location migliore di questa…. Quando l abbiamo scelta mesi e mesi fa ho sognato questo posto sempre e mi immaginavo il giorno! Mauro è fantastico, ti segue e ti ascolta in tutto sempre pronto a consigliarti e a strapparti un sorriso… Sinceramente me la porterò sempre nel cuore questa location e quel giorno! Tra l’altro lo staff è super disponibile, gentile… le camere sono molto belle fronte mare e la colazione a buffet offre tantissima scelta tra salato e dolce!!! Grazie Mauro per la bellissima e indimenticabile giornata!!! Tra l’altro prima del matrimonio siamo venuti ad assaggiare i piatti a cena anche con diversi amici, si mangia troppo bene che è un peccato non andarci! 5 stelle ++++++!!! Consigliato per tutto, feste famiglie amici… sapranno sempre come accontentarti! Un abbraccio grandissimo a tutto lo staff e Mauro ❤️

23/03/2024: With our old friends we have been going to the Galleon more or less since 1990; yesterday I went back after years and luckily I found the same environment (which did its job as a time machine...), an excellent choice of beers both on tap and in bottles, and really good food: I had an excellent pizza and the bruschetta with Nutella, fantastic in its simplicity! Also worth mentioning in the menu is a special consideration for us vegetarians, which unfortunately isn't something for everyone! Congratulations also to the very fast service, and in the end the bill doesn't ruin your evening, you spend the right amount 👍🏼 Well done!

02/02/2024: Excellent place, my work colleagues brought me for the first time as they were on a business trip to Genoa, "those from Turin" I can only say that I had a great time with the friendly and very welcoming owners, excellent service, fast and with lots of choice of beer like in a real pub I would say, quality is quantity even in food... what can I say, see you on the next trip! Oh I forgot.. please say hello to me, the girl with black hair and glasses, the Calabrian boy from Turin, see you next time!

05/04/2024: Very bad experience in this restaurant. A cold welcome, no smile, an empty restaurant... (low season, many places are empty so) We are told that there are no pizzas on the menu this day (half the menu therefore) My friend asked to have gnocchi, they ve served her gnocchi-shaped pasta... I asked for a dish, they don't have it, a second one, they don't have it... In the end, I ve ordered a dish at random. Result, half-cooked meat, bacon with little hairs on the edge... in short, I do not recommend this restaurant. Two stars for the view.
