31/05/2025: Went there for lunch - 2 days in a row! Food is excellent; tried pizzas, grilled squid and a Caesar salad - all were fantastic. Service is great and staff are very friendly. Plus it's a lovely restaurant with a nice outside area, complete with a fountain. And it is only a few minutes walk from a beautiful beach.

29/05/2025: Mancavo da parecchio tempo ma è sempre un valido punto di riferimento in Alghero per mangiare bene, pizza o piatti a base di buon pesce in un bel locale, accompagnati da ottima professionalità e una particolare cura della clientela, sia essa “locale” o occasionale. Da consigliare a tutti.

20/03/2025: Locally located in a central position in Sassari. Average business dinner, in line with expectations. Pleasant environment, very large with several external rooms. Proposal ranging from seafood, land and pizza dishes. Average starter and well-executed first courses as well as desserts. Wine list with local proposals. Medium/high prices. Service with some flaws in execution; we were always served at different times with waits that didn't allow us to eat together, even though the first courses were three strawberries and spaghetti with clams. Even in the same times get rid of.

21/05/2025: Located in the main street of Alghero where you can enjoy excellent pizzas by the slice in different varieties. It is better to book because it is not easy to arrive and find a place... especially in the summer period.

04/05/2025: Ma chi dice che non è una pizza buona questa ma che problemi hà a testa? Perché davvero fà una pizza veramente buona e lo dico io che e così è va bene così visto l esperienza nel campo . E uno tra i migliori pizzaioli in Gallura.. abbiamo preso tre pizzeria da portare via e tutte buone magari un po di sugo in più in base ai miei gusti ma questo è veramente un bravissimo pizzaiolo ..sono abituato a mangiarla a Napoli la pizza quindi so che dico . Ci andremo spesso bravo davvero

05/05/2025: Locally styled and popular restaurant with reasonable prices, good food, and friendly waiter, who also spoke good English. I had the veal limone for 10€ but many other items on menu. House wine and tiramisu was great too!

21/04/2025: If you are looking for real Italian food, great service and don't want to pay what you pay for the crappy food in the Centro Storico, this is the place to go. Really! None of the trattorias in the centrum of Alghero are as good as Lanterna.

18/05/2025: As soon as I left the restaurant I went home, I had to have lunch because I was hungry. I ordered a beef steak, unfortunately it was inedible, not because of the cooking but because it was full of nerves. Despite pointing out that it was not good food they charged like a quality steak € 25.00. Of course I paid the bill, but I will not return. My last dinner in this restaurant dates back to 2021, I remember seeing that the waiters systematically put the bread, left over from the baskets collected from the tables, in the carasau package, what can I say ... We were still in the covid climate. Restaurant cancelled ❌

25/05/2025: Pranzo di domenica in compagnia di mia moglie. Premetto di essere stato già tante volte in questo locale e di apprezzare la qualità, la velocità con cui vengono servite le pietanze e la gentilezza dei camerieri in generale...cosa che però quest'ultima volta non è stata ripetuta. Non pretendo il tappeto rosso all'ingresso, ma almeno un buon giorno all'ingresso ed un arrivederci all'uscita sarebbe già un bel segno di cortesia ed educazione, un modo di fare della cassiera che mi ha veramente colpito in negativo e che sempre più mi fa preferire altri locali. Peccato.
