30/07/2025: Un paio di giorni fa io e il mio ragazzo siamo venuti a mangiare in questo ristorante, in quanto lui era già stato qui più volte negli anni scorsi ed era rimasto molto soddisfatto. Abbiamo mangiato una crudité di scampi e gamberi e a seguire, sotto consiglio del cameriere, i pacchetti con l’astice. I dolci erano buoni ma niente di speciale. Per quanto riguarda la qualità e il sapore del cibo, siamo rimasti discretamente soddisfatti, tuttavia ciò che ci costringe a dare due stelle è il conto e la gestione di esso. Sia l’antipasto sia il primo, erano indicati sul menù con prezzo €/hg per questo abbiamo chiesto consiglio al cameriere, che per la cruditè ci ha consigliato 500gr, che abbiamo confermato, e per i pacchetti con l’astice aveva dato prezzo di 35€ per persona. All’arrivo del proforma, siamo rimasti per un momento interdetti, perché avendo fatto due calcoli, non combaciavano con quanto scritto. Ci siamo quindi accorti che la nostra cruditè riportava la voce di 8hg facendo salire il conto di 30€, inoltre per quanto minimo, anche la pasta con l’astice era stata battuta a 37,50€ a persona al che abbiamo chiamato il cameriere per chiedere spiegazioni, sorvolando sul prezzo della pasta. Dopo aver fatto presente la nostra richiesta di quantità del crudo pari a 500gr, il cameriere ha risposto dicendo che i crostacei del giorno prima erano più piccoli, quindi avevano peso minore cercando di giustificarsi. Quando il mio ragazzo ha fatto presente in maniera un po’ accesa che se il prezzo va a peso, la quantità deve essere il più possibile rispettata, il cameriere ha ribattuto dicendo che ormai il pesce lo avevamo mangiato. Essendosi impuntato, il personale a quel punto è tornato indietro con un nuovo proforma, sul quale era stato riportato il nuovo peso di 550 gr. Inoltre per scusarsi ci è stato offerto il caffè o il digestivo che abbiamo però rifiutato. Non sappiamo se realmente ci sia stato un errore di comprensione o semplicemente la volontà di approfittarsi di due giovani ragazzi che non se ne intendono, ma lasceremo il beneficio del dubbio…
30/07/2025: This restaurant definitely serves quality seafood, with generous portions. The service is excellent, even if they try to force you to vacate your table. The atmosphere is nice, but nothing more. Overall, I recommend this restaurant; I'd go back!

12/08/2025: A very charming flamingo-themed restaurant in San Teodoro, located on one of the main streets. It's a lovely place with both indoor and outdoor seating. We tried a few dishes and enjoyed them, as well as the attentive service. Prices are average, especially considering the location.

21/07/2025: Dinner at Salsero was FABULOUS, in fact, with my partner and friends, after being there the first night, we returned twice. Very kind and very helpful staff, EXCELLENT food and EXCELLENT mussels, everything served quickly, even though the place was full, but leaving the right time between one course and another. Furthermore, without a reservation, we never waited more than 5 minutes. Also, the place is beautiful and spacious. I recommend!!!
20/07/2025: A go-to place for dining in San Teodoro, this pizzeria, restaurant, and mussel bar offers excellent pizza, and there's a wide variety to choose from. The option of mussels served in all sorts of sauces is a nice touch.
It has plenty of seating, but it's still a good idea to book.
Reasonable prices for San Teodoro.

We first visited twice in September 2022, we recently returned & ate here 3 times during our week’s stay. The cozze were incredible, as was the spaghetti al vongole & seadas. Cannot fault it, brilliant service & fantastic food at great prices. Can’t wait to return!

09/07/2025: This was, hands down, the most disappointing meal we’ve had during our entire stay in San Teodoro — and we’re genuinely upset about it.
It started with the Sardinian bread: normally a lovely touch, served in a basket alongside fresh varieties. Here, it was just dry sheets of pane carasau, carelessly stacked on a plate. It immediately felt uninviting.
I had ordered Gnocchetti, which usually comes with sausage, and asked to have it with plain tomato sauce instead. What I received was a dish so bland and lifeless, it could’ve come straight from a supermarket jar. No freshness, no seasoning, no care.
My partner’s dish, supposedly a Sardinian specialty with sausage, was no better — the meat was tough and full of gristle, and the sauce lacked any noticeable flavor. We barely ate a third of it - and then the plate was taken away without a single question. Nobody asked if something was wrong, nobody seemed to care why the dish was barely touched.
The Service in General was disappointing. Our water was inexplicably poured into wine glasses (despite water glasses being on the table), and we were not offered fresh glasses when the wine arrived. Our plates were cleared without a word, and moments later even the bread was taken — while we were still sitting and finishing our drinks. That’s simply not the kind of hospitality we’ve come to love in Italy. The staff felt distant and emotionally absent — like we were just part of a routine. Mass processing, not hospitality.
And finally, we were charged the full €18 for my meat-free Gnocchetti — the same price as the original sausage version — despite it being just tomato sauce and pasta. That is an absolute cheek!!
It’s rare that we leave a restaurant genuinely upset — but this felt careless, overpriced, and completely soulless. Definitely not a place we would ever return to.

13/08/2025: The pizzas are good, even if they're served a little cold. I find it unacceptable that they charge you €10 for bread you DON'T order. Furthermore, they don't even give you the option of taking it away. They take it off the table without asking and then, on the receipt, charge you for the amount of bread based on the number of people. Pathetic.
12/08/2025: I'm sorry to write this review. The staff were welcoming, the waitress was professional and kind. But let's get to the bad part: we sat down at 8:05 PM and ordered cheese and two tagliatelle with pesto and shrimp. After a short wait, the cheeses arrived (sliced very thinly and in just a few slices, so €8 per portion is excessive in my opinion). I don't know what happened to our order, but the tagliatelle arrived at 9:30 PM, MORE THAN 1 HOUR AND 20 MINUTES of waiting without anyone coming to offer an explanation. I find it unacceptable to wait so long for such a simple dish, which we specifically ordered, hoping to have an early dinner and take a stroll around beautiful San Teodoro.

We were treated really well, not to mention the food was truly excellent.
We thank Paolo and his colleagues for their excellent hospitality and professionalism.
Highly recommended for families and young people alike.
30/07/2025: The restaurant is in a good location, with parking, and has an elegant feel. Unfortunately, the staff act like they're there as a punishment. They're sulky and casual. They serve you with a single lemon slice for a bottle of mineral water, you have to ask for salt or olive oil, and at the end, at the checkout, they ask for your table number, and they don't have name tags... sorry, I don't recommend it.

05/08/2025: Direi cibo di scarsa qualità...abbiamo avuto seri problemi con varie vespe ....e il personale nei nostri confronti è risultato molto menefreghista e scortese ; pizza molto gommosa e sopratutto pesce di scarsa qualità. Il costo eccessivo per il servizio ricevuto .
31/07/2025: Ristorante con un’impostazione curata, perfetto per una cena all’aperto in una location suggestiva, fresca e piacevole. Abbiamo cenato a pochi passi dal mare, in un’atmosfera rilassata e accogliente.
Abbiamo provato una pizza americana, nella media, e un piatto davvero interessante: i lorighittas ai crostacei. Una pasta tipica sarda, ben condita con un sugo ricco e saporito. Il piatto era generosamente guarnito con aragosta, granchio, cicale di mare e gamberoni, servito con tutti gli utensili necessari per gustarlo al meglio, inclusi pinze e bavaglione. Ottimo piatto, sia per qualità che per presentazione, a 25€. Per questo valuto solo tre pallini, trovo il costo di questo locale eccessivo.
A seguire, un sorbetto al limone, una crema catalana molto buona e una panna cotta con topping al cioccolato: i dessert nella media, piacevoli ma non memorabili.
Servizio rapido, anche se un po’ distaccato, e apparecchiatura semplice ma elegante. In sintesi, un bel posto dove cenare bene, respirare l’aria del mare e provare qualche piatto tipico ben eseguito.

11/08/2025: Giardino gradevole. Pizze accettabili, ma la grande criticità è la cucina che prepara gli stessi piatti molto diversi per qualità e freschezza a seconda delle sere. Io sono stata più volte, bisogna confidare nella fortuna. La professionalità dei camerieri dipende da quello che viene ordinato, sei considerato solo come un bancomat. Prezzi medio-alti, ingiustificati. Sconsiglierei

Terrible restaurant. The appetizer was horrible, the fish was minimal, and the portions were minimal. The pasta was tasteless, and the mixed grill was rundown. The wine, very limited selection, was nothing for less than 30 euros. To be slammed.
