02/01/2026: I travel a lot around the world, but this had never happened to me before. I ordered something. The waitress, named Anna, held her display in front of me, showing me the total of my order. It was only €10.50. She asked me if it was okay (because maybe it was too expensive for me) and wanted to collect the payment immediately. Mind you, only from me. Not from any other customers around me. My order was never even on the table. I don't want to pay immediately after every order, but rather the total amount later. This waitress was clearly in a bad mood. Every time I ordered something, she said nothing and turned away. I'm a regular customer at Marinella. The staff needs better training. This kind of behavior towards customers is unacceptable.

20/01/2026: Truly good pizzas. Especially the gluten-free ones: excellent dough made by the pizza chef. The owners are friendly and professional. The perfect place for those who aren't overly formal and appreciate simplicity: they won't mind the lack of table service (which is compensated for by the device that notifies you when your pizzas are ready). Perfect for those who love the simplicity of a nice evening with friends.

14/01/2026: I "dared" to ask for a non-alcoholic beer. They looked at me like I was an alien. It's 2026, and I don't see anything strange in asking for a non-alcoholic beer so I can enjoy my pizza and then drive sober. I settled for water.

30/12/2025: Excellent beers, and good pizzas, made with carefully selected ingredients. But there are definitely some things that need revising. First: the wait. Perhaps twenty-five minutes from sitting down to the waiter taking your order (called specifically, not spontaneously) is a bit long on a Monday evening with the dining room almost empty. It must be said that consulting the menu (which is online, and—the detail—no one told us this) takes time: each ingredient has its origin and description specified, so each pizza on the menu is a few lines long, and it feels like reading the plot of an opera; once you get to the last line, you have to reread it. Of course, the intent is to acknowledge and highlight local producers. There's also, however, a hint of pomposity. As for the beers: I think it's the only pizzeria where I've ever found a medium-sized draft beer. Either 30/33cl, or even a 75cl bottle, and not the classic "pizza" size, i.e., the medium 40 or 50cl. This is a bit off-putting, especially considering the long wait for food: you're essentially forced to get a second beer or finish your pizza dry. Another thing: the ingredients, or dishes, are unavailable. This would also be a good sign, considering they're local and high-quality, but within certain limits. For example: if the arugula is out of stock, that's fine. If, on the other hand, you can't order any dessert (!) because "we've run out of everything," at a late hour on a very sparsely crowded evening, that's not the case. The experience is therefore ambivalent: while you might praise the quality of the products and the location, you don't feel welcomed, you don't feel completely at ease.

07/12/2025: Birthday dinner with a group of 11 adults and one child. The pizza was truly excellent, with top-notch dough and cooking. It's a shame the service didn't live up to the quality of the food. Upon arrival, I waited a few minutes with the cake in hand, and considering we were celebrating a birthday, a simple greeting or a little attention would have made a difference. Throughout the evening, a waitress often seemed unresponsive to requests and less than cordial, causing some confusion. At the end of the dinner, another unpleasant situation arose: about ten minutes before midnight, we were told that anyone wanting to pay by card would have to do so quickly, otherwise it wouldn't be possible. This created a bit of pressure on the entire table. Furthermore, I had asked for the cake service to be deducted from the bill, but was told this wasn't possible. The final bill was the most complicated aspect: despite repeatedly asking for confirmation of the amounts, I was told that €44 was missing. I collected all the guests' receipts, explaining that two people had paid in cash, and only after the fourth check did they admit the mistake, though without apologizing. Not even when saying goodbye was there a gesture of courtesy, which would have been appreciated on a festive occasion. In summary: excellent pizza, a decent place, but the service and management of the dining room need revising, especially when hosting groups and special occasions. I give it 3 stars because the quality of the food is worthy, but the overall experience could have been significantly more refined.

08/11/2025: The food is exceptional, the service is impeccable, and Pasquale (the host) is the best restaurateur you'll ever meet. Finding him back in his restaurant after so many years at Tanka Village, preparing his legendary sorbets and crepes Suzette and entertaining his customers was like stepping back in time. Congratulations! 👏

19/08/2025: Many pizzerias are closed for vacation in August, so we spontaneously ordered a takeaway pizza from here. The service was extremely rushed but super friendly. The pizza was delicious, nothing to complain about. We even got a free beer because we had to wait five minutes longer than the stated time. Thanks
