14/05/2026: Small place (reservations recommended), fast service, intimate atmosphere. But let's get to the important stuff: the pizzas are surprisingly high quality: light dough, excellent ingredients. I had the white pizza with capocollo, which finally wasn't overly salty. In our group, we also tried other pizzas, and each creation was more delicious (and tastier) than the last. They have high chairs for children (although there's no barrier between the legs for little ones—bring a seatbelt). The beers are bottled, but equally good. We haven't gotten to the desserts yet, but maybe next time. The prices might seem high, but you pay for quality.

09/04/2026: I stopped by at lunchtime for two pizzas and in the evening for dinner: antipasti, pasta and a magnificent dessert. The service was impeccable, really nothing to complain about – quick and very welcoming!

The food was delicious generous portions, fresh ingredients, and comforting flavors that suit both kids and adults perfectly. Everything was well-prepared and served hot, showing great attention to quality. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. A great spot for relaxed family meals and group gatherings. Highly recommended!

04/04/2026: An experience beyond expectations A dear friend of ours recommended dinner at "Pizzeria da Gianni." As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with a smile that made us feel right at home! The dinner was a feast of flavors that will leave a lasting impression. Even the simple baked potatoes, served in a delicious bowl, were surprising for their perfect balance of flavor and impeccable cooking, the result of experience and passion in preparing them. The refined atmosphere and pleasant clientele are a testament to the care and dedication of the owners. The staff are very attentive and helpful! Before leaving Puglia, on the way home, you definitely have to dine at "Pizzeria da Gianni" again.

11/04/2026: Debatable, both the pizza and dessert I chose from the menu were unavailable(???) last night, and it wasn't clearly indicated on the menu. Furthermore, the reservation was for 9, but there were 8 of us, and we still paid for 9 covers. Fortunately, in Puglia, you have a wide choice.

03/05/2026: A true, traditional trattoria... if you'd like to try it, this location is definitely the most charming in the city (and probably the oldest). The atmosphere is very unique, with a dining room that backs onto Dos Trento! The food is traditional, a bit rustic, as it should be. The staff is friendly, everything is delicious, and the prices are more than fair. It's located in the beautiful little Piedicastello square, in the oldest neighborhood in the city, to the right of the Adige. Highly recommended!

23/02/2026: What a fantastic find at Albarosa! The panzerotti are simply delicious, generously filled, crispy on the outside and meltingly soft on the inside. The pizzas are just as excellent, with perfect dough and high-quality ingredients. The service is top-notch: welcoming, quick, and always with a smile. The dining area is small, which makes it cozy, but reservations are highly recommended. Alternatively, takeout is also available and definitely worth the trip. I recommend this place without hesitation!

21/09/2025: A place to feel at home – highly recommended I spent a few days at La Giara Risto Relais and can wholeheartedly recommend my stay. As a woman traveling alone, it was especially important to me to feel safe and well cared for – and that was exactly the case from the very first minute. The room was exceptionally clean, tastefully furnished, and meticulously maintained. I also really appreciated the quiet, somewhat secluded location. Parking was available right next to the rooms. What made the stay truly special was the warmth of the hosts. The Italian mentality – open, warm, and familial – was palpable at all times. I felt welcome, safe, and completely at ease in every respect. If you're looking for clean, quiet accommodation with genuine Italian hospitality, this is the perfect place. I would love to return.

24/02/2026: Informal and welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff. We ordered two puccias. The dough was very good, the puccia thin and crispy, and well-filled. I ordered a Flanders puccia with fior di latte tomatoes, arugula, and prosciutto, and I also added spicy mushrooms. The only flaw was the tomato, which was bland and characterless. Perhaps a little more oil and salt would have been great. The medium portion of potatoes was truly generous. If you haven't tried this pizzeria, it's worth a try, at least for the puccias.
