26/09/2025: The inviting and inviting atmosphere, overlooking the lake, reflects the restaurant's name, and the dynamic and helpful staff are equally impressive, offering delicious and interesting dishes at reasonable prices. We'll definitely be back! Congratulations!

03/04/2026: The owner seems to have lost some of their sense of genuine hospitality. The focus is clearly on profit and efficiency – everything seems designed to be rushed through as quickly as possible.
The pizza was more like a tarte flambée than a classic pizza.
The mussels, however, were fine.
01/04/2026: I went to this place for dinner:
both the first course and dessert were good, and the pizza was decent.
Very fair prices (a cover charge of €1.50 is hard to find, and desserts are €6).
The dining room is a bit noisy.
Overall, I recommend it, especially if you're looking for a reasonably priced dinner on the Verbania lakefront.

24/02/2026: We had lunch for four at midday. As anticipated, we chose a charcuterie board, which was truly excellent and of high quality. We then ordered two plates of tomato gnocchi: delicious, made with fresh tomatoes; the only flaw was the presence of some tomato peels.
We continued with the polenta with sausage and mushrooms, very good and a generous portion, and the tagliatelle with mushrooms, also very good and plentiful.
We concluded the meal with a delicious apple strudel and a bonet, which was good, although in my opinion slightly overcooked.
The staff was friendly. I would just like to offer one piece of advice: the sliced bread should be served separately from the packets of breadsticks.
Overall, we ate well.
23/01/2026: Very helpful and kind. The atmosphere is welcoming and makes you feel at home. Truly generous portions at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

01/04/2026: Had dinner with my wife on March 30: the fish was nothing special, and the prices are high for a restaurant/pizzeria (water €4, vegetables €7).
I wouldn't recommend it.

You can also rent SUPs, etc. - unfortunately, we didn't have time for that.
14/08/2025: A lovely, quiet spot on the lake with comfortable, affordable lounge chairs. You can eat and drink, rent subs, go water skiing, etc. It's a nice, relaxing spot. Dogs are welcome in a designated area.

The Ascoli olives were inedible, I took them and threw them all away!
A horrible experience, I would never tell anyone to eat there!

02/04/2026: I had a Spaccanapoli pizza in Dore that wasn't exactly EXCELLENT. The place is located in an alley right after the promenade. I read a review with a lake view... no, you can't see the lake, not even at sunset. Either I'm at the wrong place or the one above, but I'm sure if it were on the lakefront, it would be the best.
Pizza cooked to perfection, perfect dough, not even in Naples like this.
Very kind and helpful staff, nice and clean atmosphere.
I didn't have to wait because I was alone.
The price was reasonable.
The waiter suggested spicy sauce, which was perfect on my pizza.
I would go back to Stresa for a special pizza.
Congratulations from everyone.

12/02/2026: The pizza is disgusting, even though the prices are supposedly low (but with a cover charge for a piece of paper on the table). Not recommended.

The pizza was incredibly greasy.
At the next table, two pizzas were burnt, unintentionally.
The cordon bleu was watery.
The cover charge was deducted per person instead of per table.
Go up to the old town, on the corner... next to the wine shop, you'll find the best pizza.
05/04/2026: The fish was well-cooked. The potato wedges were hard and cold. Overall, the presentation was uninspired. The service also seemed unenthusiastic. A shame, because the location is fantastic.

25/02/2026: The spaghetti alla chitarra with clams was delicious and plentiful. I recommend it. The meat served to the next table was excellent. The pizza wasn't as inviting. The waiter was young and very friendly. The wait was short, considering we arrived on a Saturday around 10:00 PM.
It's right in the historic center of Domodossola, which is very beautiful, unlike the outskirts. I recommend visiting at night.
16/02/2026: We dined as a couple, and the prices were excessive for both quantity and quality.
The Ossola appetizer was good, but at €19.50 it's overpriced and barely enough for two people. They "offer" you a schiacciatina (flatbread) to accompany the platter, but then you end up with a €5 bill for it. The red wine in bulk wasn't bad, but it's worth it. The portions were adequate, but they didn't meet expectations given the price.

31/01/2026: Polenta and sausage, polenta and braised beef, and lamb chops, all beautifully cooked and accompanied by a delicious plate of grilled vegetables!
We had a great time, the staff were friendly, and the service was quick. I recommend it.
28/12/2025: Excellent service, nice atmosphere, but unfortunately, it's clear that their pizza chef isn't keen on making pizzas. He made us two completely different pizzas from what we ordered, and when the waitress asked him to remake the pizzas as he was leaving (angrily), his response was "I'm out of dough." Nothing, we were speechless at his reaction. In conclusion, we ate one pizza between us.

03/04/2026: Someone finally came out to take orders after a 10min wait. Several tables ordered, we were bypassed. We were told she'd be back in a minute. She then went to join her 2 colleagues and sat down for a coffee and a chat. Unbelievable!
03/04/2026: The waitstaff took orders from other guests but not ours, then sat down with their colleagues and drank coffee instead of serving us. All three of them sat there on their break; no one was serving. The restaurant was full.

25/07/2025: Un Spritz Aperol quasi « Virgin »… ultra light.
Une cuisine un peu bâclée.
Des aubergines grillées à peine assaisonnées et manquant un peu de cuisson.
La panacota à 6,50€ qui ne Ressemble pas à grand chose : 2/3 d’une petite verrine remplie d’une simple crème épaissie, sans coulis ni garniture!!! Ridicule en taille comparée au tiramisu qui lui est correct!
Et pour clôturer, le serveur en chef qui se paye ma tête lorsque je lui exprime ma déception par rapport au dessert!!!
