24/06/2025: Certainty in Ivrea. Historic restaurant, wide choice of fish and meat dishes and excellent pizza. Super staff, Carmine is the best!

22/06/2025: Historic pizzeria in the center of Ivrea where stopping to eat is always pleasant. The pizzas are excellent as are the first courses with fish. The swordfish rolls are excellent, which I personally accompany with breaded and fried artichokes. The service is fast. There is a large, clean bathroom. Nearby there is a parking lot that is paid from 8 to 19. It is better to book. It is possible to enjoy excellent pizzas for those who have celiac disease.

26/06/2025: I was at the Aquila Nera last Friday. At 10.30-11pm they close the kitchens but they continue to make pizzas which was the reason why I went there.. the oven is wood-fired, so a big advantage.. I had a pizza with pistachio and guanciale and burrata on top (it's called pistacchiosa 10 out of 10) .. out of this world in short.. the drinks were excellent.. compliments to the entourage of the room always courteous and attentive.. my personal compliments to the pizza chef for the choice of raw materials.. for those who want something else, the choice of dinner based on fish, meat, pasta or whatever is more than valid and varied.. go there and expectations will be respected. I only stopped to eat so I won't review the hotel part

23/06/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant and I was really satisfied. The fish was very fresh, cooked with care and taste - each dish was a small masterpiece of authentic flavors. In addition to the quality of the food, I was impressed by the welcome: all the staff were kind, attentive and helpful, making me feel really at ease. 25/04/2025: This was the best restaurant during our entire trip to Italy - and, believe me, we visited almost every region: from Naples to Milan, from Turin to small villages. But it was in Ivrea, in this cozy and almost inconspicuous restaurant from the outside, that we experienced a gastronomic revelation. From the outside you may pass by - nothing gives away that there is a real treasure waiting for you inside. But once you enter, you find yourself in the very atmosphere of a real Italian pizzeria, where only locals dine. Quiet, calm, homely. Pizza is a different story. I cook it myself, I have tried the best in Naples - and yet, I have never eaten pizza like here anywhere. Perfect dough, generous filling, large size - a real work of art. We ordered nothing at all: pizza, a huge Greek salad (it could easily feed five!), Coca-Cola and their house wine on tap, light, reminiscent of Prosecco. Everything was amazing. And do you know how much it cost? Only 27 euros. For such a level - simply incredible. Special thanks to the staff - warm, sincere attitude, smiles, looks in the eyes. It's not just food - it's an experience that's memorable. If I find myself in Italy again, I will definitely return there. And I recommend it to everyone: the most delicious pizza in Italy is in Ivrea, in this restaurant, modest on the outside but magical on the inside.
