17/07/2025: I'm mortified to write this review, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed. I came for the fish, but both the mussels (mushy and floury) and the scampi (grey and dry inside) were awful and tasted like they were stale. Plus, they were drowned in sauce! What a shame! Especially since it wasn't cheap. The service was good, and it's a casual restaurant.

15/07/2025: We had lunch a few days ago during our vacation in Porto Recanati, and what can I say? Excellent fish, as well as meat dishes. Delicious desserts. Generous portions and excellent value! Friendly and helpful staff. Recommended for anyone passing through the area who wants to eat well in a casual setting. Plus, our four-legged friend was able to keep us company during lunch, which is a real plus.

13/07/2026: I wandered in by chance with my daughter and was struck by the very inviting aroma of food. I promised myself I'd return, and so I did. Excellent food and very kind and friendly staff. A truly welcoming place for a delightful stop. It's going to be one of our favorite places from now on.

29/06/2026: Very friendly. Homemade tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and truffle. Delicious.

06/07/2026: Pizzas that taste like home, with their authentic and simple flavor at a great price, topped with quality ingredients. The piadinas are also very good. It would be great if they also offered a gluten-free option, given the number of people with celiac disease or intolerances these days.

30/06/2026: Excellent pizza by the slice, soft and crispy on the bottom. Generous toppings made with quality ingredients. The flaky piadina is also fabulous, fragrant and not at all heavy. The friendly and knowledgeable staff is ready to accommodate even the most varied requests.

21/05/2026: Traditional but super tasty food with a glass of Verdicchio wine. The dessert (tiramisu) was also delicious. Highly recommended!

28/04/2026: I can't make comparisons with the old management, but I can speak about my lunch experience with the new one. The place is beautiful, the atmosphere is intimate, and the surrounding plaza is lovely and quiet. The cuisine strikes a balance between quality and abundance, but not necessarily both: the amatriciana was plentiful and decent, the fried chicken with chips and cremini sauce was excellent, but the portions were more moderate (but adequate). The only downside is the slow service in a practically empty room. In short, Orietta used to be a place where people from out of the region came to eat; today, there are plenty of other options of the same quality and with a similar experience. I hope to update my review in the future and that the new owners will grow with their experience.

14/06/2026: One of the best campsites we visited on our trip to Italy. You can tell that the guests' comfort is important to them. Starting with simple things like soap and a hairdryer in the washroom. There's also a washing machine and beautifully landscaped pitches with gravel. We felt so comfortable. When we asked if we could have a shady spot, the lady walked around the site with us and tried to accommodate our wishes. You can also eat here. There's a water connection at every pitch. Proper waste disposal, and so much more. The only thing to keep in mind if you're not very mobile is that it's situated on a slightly elevated hill, and the road to town or the beach is a bit steep. Both are reachable in just a few minutes. A place to linger and relax.

21/05/2026: Great campsite with lots of greenery. Unfortunately, we were bothered a lot by the peacocks, so we slept poorly. It's about a solid 30-minute walk to the charming old town and 15 minutes to the beach. The sanitary facilities are fine and clean. Washing up is only possible with cold water. The price-quality ratio is a bit disproportionate, but the owner is very friendly.

26/05/2026: The place is always busy, the pizza is good, the staff is impeccable, the only problem is the noise from the rooms where there are always a lot of people, perhaps there is not enough space.

20/02/2026: If there were more stars, I would have given them even more! I didn't know this pizzeria; I stumbled upon it by chance while parking on the street next door. Besides the pizza being delicious (flavorful, soft, and crispy at the same time), I'd like to compliment the lady who served me: truly old-fashioned kindness, courtesy, and professionalism! She was smiling and welcomed me like I was at home, even though it was my first time here. I can tell she's passionate about it. I'll definitely be back!! Highly recommended!!!

12/02/2026: Kindness, sweetness, politeness, and smiles are what you notice when you enter this bar. Covid regulations are followed, and in this period, that's no small thing! As for the coffee, after reading a previous review, I think it's a very subjective and personal thing... maybe if you drank a drop of water before your coffee, it would be more appropriate, instead of drinking it afterward like so many ignorant caffeine addicts do... or maybe eat less garlic or onions in the evening... and as for bars, there are many others around... try going and then review them too. Thanks.

20/04/2026: BASIC place, paper tablecloths and no silverware, folks! But what you get on your plate is truly worthy of a Michelin-starred chef! Marco's famous Pinsa is the best, but I also tried various fish dishes and some meat dishes, I imagine, prepared by Mauro - The SuperSaiyan... Everything was truly delicious, and the price would rival even the suburban taverns... The quality/price ratio is truly unmatched in the area, perhaps even in the Marche region. 17/11/2025: It's a beautiful location, and that's the only good thing about this place. But the windows were full of flies (November). Sorry, but it's a place where you eat! The person serving us was indifferent and didn't even know which desserts were sold out. The dishes were simple; we definitely made the mistake of stopping there. We won't be returning.

29/03/2026: I had dinner at this pizzeria nestled among the buildings in Macerata, not far from the train station. On a Friday, the place was packed. There are three well-lit, clean rooms, and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The menu offers a wide selection of delicious pizzas, all made with a truly light dough, and excellent value. It's an experience worth repeating, and I highly recommend it.

24/03/2026: A very welcoming restaurant with a unique layout. Excellent pizza and minimal wait times. Good service, although not all the waitresses are on point. The owner is a friendly and pleasant person. I will gladly return.

20/07/2026: Long waiting times. They simply make large pizzas. The fun factor of ordering pizza by the meter is rather low. A rather unusual selection of pizzas.

15/07/2026: I've been to this pizzeria several times. The main reason is simple: I'm celiac, and this is one of the very few places in the area that truly guarantees zero contamination. For me, it's not a preference, it's a necessity. Last Saturday, I tried calling several times to order a takeout pizza, but no one answered. So I went straight to the place. There were several people just picking up their pre-made orders. I approached and asked if it was possible to order a pizza. Just one pizza. I also explained that, as a celiac, it was basically the only place within a 15 km radius where I could eat safely. The response was: "As you can see, it's full; we can't do it for an hour and a half." I completely understand what it's like to have a lot of work. But there are situations where a little bit of customer service makes all the difference. For most people, if a pizzeria is full, they just cross the street and go somewhere else. I can't do that. For me, that wasn't "just another pizza": it was the only chance I could have dinner with my friends. From a business that has chosen to invest in gluten-free cuisine and safety for those with special dietary needs, I would have expected a little more sensitivity. Not a favor, but understanding of a situation unlike any other. I waited a while and then left, politely, without pretensions. It's those little gestures that either build customer loyalty or drive them away. For this reason, at least for a while, I will choose to organize myself differently. Not because of the wait itself, but because of how I felt treated.

26/05/2026: Once a week I make a point of getting pizza there. Their jalapeños are PHENOMENAL. The pizza dough is excellent and well-topped (and that's coming from a Neapolitan guy :)). The place is lovely, very well-kept.
