16/10/2025: The restaurant is easily accessible from the train station in about 10 minutes. The service is very friendly and efficient, and you don't have to wait long for the food either. The white pizzas were sensational! The ingredients were high-quality and fresh. The crust was nice and thin and crispy. The dessert was lovingly prepared and very well-executed and delicious. The only thing I found was the espresso a bit bitter compared to other Italian restaurants here. Excellent value for money, I would definitely go back.

27/09/2025: A lovely restaurant at 2,000 meters above sea level. We stopped by chance on our way back from Switzerland for gelato, but we loved the atmosphere and returned for dinner two more times. The pizzas are delicious and the cuisine is very well prepared.

19/08/2025: Nice place, friendly staff. We had half a liter of wine, shared an appetizer, two first courses, two desserts, and two coffees for €30 each. The pizzoccheri were very good and lighter than other versions in the area.

29/09/2025: We went to the Vecchia Carbonera for two evenings, a group of 14. I booked and agreed on a menu with Mr. Franco, an excellent person and a true restaurant professional. On Friday evening, two people were quite late, but he prepared the requested dishes on the spot, demonstrating his helpfulness and courtesy towards the customer. A gesture greatly appreciated. The recommended menu was excellent, featuring local dishes from pizzoccheri and sciat to tortelli with bitto cheese and bresaola. The grilled meat on a stick was a fabulous dish.

05/10/2025: We went to Pizzeria Al Vicolo and had an excellent experience! The dishes are truly delicious, prepared with great care. Special thanks to the staff, all incredibly kind and helpful. The pizza is simply phenomenal, without a doubt one of the best in the area. Highly recommended!

19/10/2025: I booked a table for two on a particularly busy evening, and our reservation was lost. The staff immediately made sure we felt at home, quickly setting up a table for us and offering us a glass of prosecco while we waited. Excellent food, fair prices, interesting off-menu items, and courteous and attentive waiters. If I were to pass through Sondrio again, I would definitely return.

Hotel with a sun terrace offering a wonderful view. Rooms are beautifully furnished. Very friendly and accommodating hosts. Excellent regional cuisine with excellent, affordable wines. Breakfast—nothing to complain about, very good quality.

13/09/2025: Delicious dinner! Four of us had dinner at this beautiful restaurant with a truly enchanting atmosphere! The risottos were excellent, especially the blueberry one and the Sassella risotto with bresaola! The desserts were delicious, the cheesecake was amazing! The waiters were very kind, knowledgeable, fast, and always smiling! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!!!

08/09/2025: A very friendly and warm welcome! The pitches on the hillside are pleasant. I've been here several times, and this time I had the opportunity to try the attached restaurant – you should! If you think you "know" Italian cuisine, you'll also discover the Lombardy version and the wines from Valtellina here. A new experience for me, plus the very friendly and welcoming treatment of guests!

06/10/2025: Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. Of two orders (one for each person), only one was delivered. When I was finished eating and my partner still hadn't received anything, we addressed the issue. We took the second portion with us. What annoys me is that we were charged twice for cutlery even though only one person had eaten in the restaurant, and that was your fault. Very, very cheeky!! I would have expected a concession.
