02/09/2025: We had pizza. The staff were friendly and the service was quick, despite the restaurant being quite crowded (75% of the tables were occupied). Excellent value for money.

26/09/2025: I returned to this restaurant almost by chance, after having been there once a couple of years ago. This time, I chose the pizzoccheri again, and I was right: delicious, well-seasoned, and generous portions. They also have a good selection of craft beers, produced at their 1212 brewery (I even bought some to go). The staff was extremely friendly. The place was warm and welcoming. Highly recommended.

26/09/2025: Over the years, I've brought so many friends here. They've all fallen in love with the place and been won over by the local cuisine! Risotto Carducci has become a tradition.

07/10/2025: The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I found the room clean, simple, and nice. The hotel's location is strategic for exploring Livigno's city center. We also had the opportunity to eat at the hotel restaurant, where everything was very good.

30/08/2025: Every year I spend two weekends in Santa Caterina and every year I come to eat here!! Everything is delicious!! The staff and owner are wonderful!! Last time I was shocked by the pork and lamb shanks!! AMAZING!! And the pizza is worth it too!!

28/09/2025: Excellent restaurant, definitely a touristy one, but the one-course meal concept is very clever. The staff is very attentive, fast, and organized. The coffee is superb, and the quality/price ratio is excellent. Well done, highly recommended.

24/09/2025: Great restaurant, with good starter, pasta, and meat options. Use of local meats and fresh ingredients. The wine list is very complete as the restaurant is associated with a wine shop.

05/10/2025: A cool, sunny October day, a nice warm lunch is in order. Lo Scoiattolo welcomes us to its lovely veranda overlooking the mountains. We begin lunch with taroz and sciatt (perfect, piping hot and soft inside), followed by tagliatelle with fresh mushrooms and a minestrone. Also available are blueberry gnocchi with chanterelles, steamed mixed vegetables, and barley and grain soup. Excellent service, very fast (despite the busy restaurant), friendly, and reasonably priced. We'll be back (also for the homemade desserts).

07/09/2025: While hiking in Livigno, I stopped for lunch with my family. The outdoor seating near the pedestrian street was lovely. We ate well and paid a fair price. Since it's a place with plenty of seating, it gets quite busy.

11/10/2025: The tagliatelle with mushrooms and truffle cream were spectacular! The polenta was also excellent.

02/10/2025: A pizzeria and restaurant serving traditional Valtellina specialties and pizzas, located in the square featuring the Sanctuary and—a little further on—the frequent passage of the Bernina Express. Pizzoccheri (buckwheat flour), sciatt (fried cheese fritters on a bed of chicory), gnocchi, egg pasta, dishes featuring forest ingredients, and pizzas are all highly seasoned and high in fat.

05/10/2025: The service was not rude but joyless - we arrived for lunch and were told ‘only pizzas today’. The crust of the pizza was very tasty and fragrant but the pizzas themselves were salty and toppings lacked flavour. However the place was clean and seats were comfortable and it is conveniently located.

22/09/2025: Normally I dont write reviews but this had to be shared If you speak Italian go for it - if not, you wont have a great time. Seemingly anoyed waiter came and prepared my table with a very unfriendly demeanor - I felt like I was not welcome here at all. If you dont speak Italian with them you wont get treated the same. Ordered a Pizza + Water - The glass in which the water should be in, made it to the table but the water never did. (but that can happen) What shouldnt happen is that, hearing the staff laugh at other guests and make fun about them in italian as they were sure that they couldn`t understand them. I could though and it was not pleasant.
