The setting is also a major plus: very well located, attractive, and a really pleasant place to spend some time. 05/04/2026: I had lunch here. I got the hamburger and fries. I also got a caprese salad, water and itaian beer. The food was pretty good. I didn't specify how I wanted my burger cooked, came out a little too rare for me. Nevertheless it was delicious. Most impressed with the wait staff. I have never seen such attentive wait staff before. Excellent service.

11/12/2025: A traditional Neapolitan takeaway pizzeria near the main square in Orzinuovi. It offers a good variety of round pizzas, as well as slices of pan pizza to eat in. Very good, soft, and cooked in a wood-fired oven. They also offer family-sized pizzas. The atmosphere seems more somber than one would expect from a Neapolitan establishment: it lacks a bit of friendliness and smiles, but that's not a criticism. It's just a suggestion for improvement. Prices are normal. Perhaps it would be interesting to offer special offers or discounts during certain periods coinciding with holidays or events. And perhaps even for regular customers. But this is still just a suggestion.

13/11/2025: Pizza with cherry tomatoes and arugula: rotten cherry tomatoes with lots of mold and wilted arugula. It's a good idea not to jeopardize people's health.

03/10/2025: Contrary to Google's message: "Temporarily closed" is incorrect. See invoice dated October 2, 2025. This is how you drive restaurants into ruin by claiming temporary closures. This means you can't blindly trust Google reviews. The food was good and the waiter very friendly.

10/04/2026: We had a wonderful stay with our daughter at the hotel! The Junior Suite (302) was perfect for us – spacious and with a wonderful view and a large terrace. Breakfast was also delicious, and we enjoyed it on the lovely terrace. The transfer from the parking lot went smoothly. The location in the old town is perfect. However, during peak season, it's quite busy in front of the hotel due to the ferry terminal, and it can be rather noisy, but this didn't bother us.

09/04/2026: Hotel location is excellent, shuttle transfer , acceptable room size Issues : we booked as we saw the AC option is there we reached the hotel switching the AC off we called they promised to open it next day but until we checked out they didn't open it we have been forced to open the window and it was so noisy we struggled for 2 days Wifi password not been provided during the checkin I don't recommend the hotel

06/04/2026: The food was average, but what really bothered us was the gesture of making a 5-year-old girl pay the cover charge. She brought everything from home, from drinks to food, because she was intolerant. Just because she occupied a chair, it wasn't about the cover charge, but it was the gesture, also because we paid a bill of 1,260 euros. We won't be back and we won't recommend it to anyone.

19/04/2026: EDIT IN REPLY No one apologized on the phone, much less mentioned refunding us. After waiting 45 minutes, should we have gone out and waited again? No way!!! I repeat, we weren't told you would refund our money. Terrible experience. We ordered a focaccia and a portion of fries. When we opened the pizza box, there were two slices of cooked ham pizza inside, as if it were a scrap. We immediately called the pizzeria to explain what had happened, and they didn't even apologize, saying they had given us a leftover from another table, and if we wanted it, they would remake our pizza later. Shame on us. We paid for a whole pizza and received other customers' leftovers without even an apology.

16/10/2025: A simple restaurant without any frills. The pizzas are simply delicious and really large, with thin dough and a crispy base. Unfortunately, they don't offer pasta dishes or lasagna. The service is friendly and the staff speaks some German. The menu is available in several languages. All in all, this restaurant is highly recommended.

16/04/2026: The food is very good, with generous portions that are enough to fill you up, so good value for money. They also serve pizza for lunch.

12/04/2026: We came for breakfast. We ordered cream croissants and cappuccinos. Fifteen minutes later, we were told there was only one plain croissant and two bombolone left, even though there were four of us. What they brought us were cappuccinos that turned out to be latte macchiatos! And when we went to complain at the bar, an arrogant old woman remained completely indifferent to our remarks, looking down on us and saying, "If you say so." It was a nice little moment in the morning before leaving this beautiful region and heading home, but it put us in a bad mood and ruined the end of our stay. Where is the Italian hospitality? Where is the impeccable service and the typical products that the Swiss envy and come to Italy to find? While the campsite is fantastic, this bar-restaurant is best forgotten!
