12/11/2024: BOCCIATO! Cibo nulla di eccezionale, porzioni misere, nessuna scelta di vini, locale molto rumoroso, personale poco attento.. al limite dello scortese... Noi non ci ritorneremo mai più

03/10/2024: Consigliato dal gestore del mio Airbnb, vado in questa Osteria/ pizzeria. Cibo di qualità , ho preso solo un piatto dovendo volare dopo poco. Agnolotti ai carciofi ecc. molto buoni. Prezzi non esigui ma che ritengo idonei. Buono anche il vino della casa (Chardonnay).

23/10/2024: I was in the area for work commitments, the restaurant is a bit out of the way from the center of Como and there isn't much around, I had already heard about the pizzas in particular and so we seized the opportunity. Never was a happier choice, simply extraordinary pizza and I say this as not a fan of pizzas in general. The calzone crushed with pepper and cheese is sensational. I'll be back!

15/11/2024: Pochi piatti tra cui scegliere e mal fatti. Abbiamo preso affettati con gnocco fritto e fritto misto per i quali deve essere stato usato l’olio esausto ma talmente esausto che si è aggrappato al cibo per non lasciarlo mai più. Patate al forno dal sapore indefinito a meta’ tra il bruciato e l’ ammuffito. L’unico aspetto positivo è stato il servizio della cameriera e della moglie dello chef, che invece è mal digeribile come i piatti che cucina.

10/11/2024: We chose 3 pizzas with different doughs. The scrocchiarella is a pinsa, crunchy, well stuffed but it should be called by its name. The multi cereal, however, was soggy. The nostrana is the classic well-made pizza. A little cold atmosphere, a little awkward but kind service.

27/11/2024: Beyond the environment, the part that I consider most is the service. They are very kind and friendly, they know how to welcome customers. On the food side, I really liked the dishes with raw fish. For my taste, the salmon ravioli was too heavy.

09/12/2024: We are a family resident in Rome and I think we have tried a good number of restaurants in this city to make this assessment. Having heard so good things about it, we were not expecting such disappointment. We have made reservation by phone and when we got there we were told to wait as there was no table available. That would have been understandable only if we didn’t have to wait around 35 minutes, and outside under the rain until they got us in. Apparently confirmed reservation is just words for them. The service was close to terrible. We ordered two glasses of wine, which they brought even after the plates and only after two reminders and after we have halved the pasta plates. Moreover, the restaurant wasn’t full when we ordered (it was already past 3 pm). So staff wouldn’t have been expected to be so busy to take the orders so late and serve too late. Atmosphere: We were not expecting the atmosphere to be great because it is an old building with a cave. However, if carefully managed, simplicity can go hand in hand with quality and comfort. Unfortunately, they seem to have compromised these to ordinariness. We would still be satisfied to some extent if the food was remarkably good, but it was not beyond ordinary, except the tiramisu, which was good. As plates, we ordered amatriciana, tagliolini alle vongole, spaghetti alla vernaccia and filletto all’arancia. All were average. So, it might have been yet another restaurant in Rome, succumbing to its own name, fame and popularity.

24/11/2024: Really good pizzeria, exceptional pizza and beautiful location... I didn't really like the overly serious service, I prefer a more cheerful environment... During the evening I couldn't see a smile... Still an excellent pizza...

03/12/2024: AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE FROM ALL POINTS OF VIEW The Le Arcate restaurant was a real surprise! It's true: we arrived on a Monday evening, certainly not the busiest day of the week for a club. And so we had the service and kitchen completely at our disposal... But, beyond the lucky moment for my wife and me, everything we experienced in those hours was truly very beautiful and good. First of all, a courteous, friendly and always very attentive service. The cuisine is excellent, the dishes are simple but all well executed, with great respect for the raw materials and the cooking methods. The tartare with black truffle and the fried artichokes in batter are excellent. The first courses were very good: both my wife and I had ravioli with porcini mushrooms, butter and sage with truffle. For the second course, an excellent steak and sardines for my wife. Excellent desserts: the red fruit caramelized apple with vanilla cream was, according to my wife, the best she had ever eaten! I found the creme brulee with caramel and crunchy really delicious. The prices are excellent and in any case very interesting, for being in the province of Varese. The place is very nice, perhaps slightly outdated but, I must say, I don't mind this type of atmosphere. Among other things, I really appreciated the separate entrance from the room, so that diners are not disturbed by the comings and goings of customers and drafts... The wine list is not very extensive (which I also approve of in a place of this type), but the bottles are chosen with great care. The mark-ups are correct, considering the labels (we bought a Pinot Noir by Elena Walch for 35 euros). In short, an excellent experience, truly unexpected. Thank you with all my heart!

19/11/2024: Raw porcini mushrooms with good parmesan, porcini tagliolini and truffle nothing special, the flavor of the truffle was not noticeable and not even that of the mushrooms, the strongest flavor was that of the butter. COLD environment, in fact I had to eat with my jacket on! Good service

13/12/2024: Da alcuni anni il ristorante Da Rosa è diventato un punto di riferimento per il mangiar bene . Da apprezzare in primis l alta qualità dei piatti davvero squisiti , poi la pulizia del locale e lo stile di Luca e Stefano completano la serata .

04/12/2024: They added a dish to my bill that they themselves had made a mistake in bringing to me (since it was from another table) and which was then taken away from me. I was told it wasn't an error on the receipt, so in my opinion, I reject them.

18/11/2024: Dinner with friends where we enjoyed an excellent pizza and spaghetti with seafood. The environment is a bit dated and the bathrooms are not exactly beautiful but on the other hand excellent service, quite quick, honest prices.
