15/06/2025: Alcuni cambi del menu hanno portato questa pizzeria da 5 stelle ad un massimo di 2 stelle. Mi spiace veramente e mi rattrista scrivere queste parole però le modifiche al menu vanno a rovinare un ambiente caldo confortevole ed amicale. Per mer era tappa fissa almeno una volta a settimana ma dopo gli aggiornamenti non credo ci tornerò più. Con grandissima amarezza porgo un cordiale saluto allo staff

22/05/2025: Ho mangiato qui molte volte. La pizza è buona, quella senza glutine mediocre rispetto a molte altre assaggiate. Una sera stavo aspettando le mie pizze d’asporto tra cui la pizza senza glutine di mio figlio. Dalla cucina esce una pizza senza glutine e il ragazzo addetto a mettere nel cartone le pizze con glutine, con le sua mani ovviamente sporche di farina ha messo sulla pizza senza glutine del basilico. Questa si chiama CONTAMINAZIONE e mi sorprende che un locale che ha fatto un corso AIC commetta questo errori.

23/07/2025: Like many reviews on here, we got took by the offers at the table. It is a tourist trap and like others on here took the L offered. But our coke was like 4 cokes normally at $3.50€ each so the $17€ is ok if you can drink 4 cokes…lol. Food was very good (2/3 as mine was ok) but also bit on the add ons offered, another $32€ which isn’t really worth it. And the location was great on the patio looking at a 600 year old castle. If you stay at a regular drink and don’t add garlic toast and cheese the price is the same. Be aware of the upgrades they offer and lunch will be a normal price and of good quality.

23/07/2025: Another sad case of getting fooled for not reading the reviews first. A smooth talking waiter lured us to sit at one of the caffe tables. My wife said she wanted an ice cream. He directed her to a window where the ice creams - and the prices - were displayed. She ordered a pistachio ice cream listed at 8 Euro. ( a bit expensive, we thought , but we wanted to treat her) When the bill came, we were charged … 17 Euros. We asked the waiter and he said that 8 euros was the price if we had ordered at the window. As we ordered from him there was another price in another book ( that he told us we should have asked for ???) We travelled to Bolzano and to Merano and never had any such cheap trick pulled on us in any restaurant. For a few extra Euros, do the Dante cafe realize they give a bad name to an entire industry in a certain country ? And the worst of it, they carry the name of the greatest Italian poet. They should change their name to cafe Zanni in order to match their practices.

08/09/2025: Service is cold, harsh, and rude. I was sitting right next to her and she made me walk all the way to the cash register to get my coffee.

11/10/2025: One person must pay for everyone, they do not accept separate bills or Roman bills.

21/08/2025: The quality of the ingredients and the service absolutely need to be reconsidered. The waiters are completely inadequate. Calling it a "pizza tour" is madness. Change for the better...it's possible...you just have to want it!

26/10/2025: Far too expensive and there were no prices at the ice cream parlor. I went there and wanted a scoop of ice cream and suddenly the woman said to me 10?! Tourist trap and rip-off. Don't go there, people, it's not worth it.

23/10/2025: Rip-off: the staff gives you a large ice cream even though you ordered something else and then wants 10 euros for it. I have never experienced such impudence.

03/11/2025: I went in to get a bottle of water, but the rude and arrogant cashier behind the counter attacked me simply because, having never been there before, I wasn't ready at the designated spot for payment by debit card. I hope such staff will be called back. Furthermore, when asking if I wanted a receipt, it's legally mandatory for customers to have a receipt for their purchases.

19/08/2025: I was there yesterday... a Crodino, a tonic, and a coffee for €10.50... and no receipt! Unfortunately, the person who paid is disabled, and these two ladies, one in particular, took full advantage of it. Unfortunately, I found out on the way home, and I was in a hurry, otherwise I would have called the tax authorities! Horrible place, and even worse staff!
