I said good morning to her twice and she didn't even bother to reciprocate... I asked her again if they had seats and she whispered something that I honestly didn't understand... in the end I got tired and left... speechless...

07/08/2025: Ein wunderbarer Tag geht zu Ende. Die Wanderung von Val die Lei bis Madesimo ist und bleibt und in positiver Erinnerung. Gute Erfahrung in der Rifugio Chiavenna, Alpe Motta usw. Was wir jedoch bei Ihnen erlebt haben ist und bleibt für uns in sehr schlechter Erinnerung. So wir wir vom Kellner (gross/schwarzhaarig, rüppelhaft usw. ) bedient wurden grenzt an Arroganz, Frechheit usw. So etwas gehört nicht einmal in einen Schweinestall. So geht man nicht um mit Gästen, selbst wenn sie erst um 21.30 Uhr - scheinbar war die Küche schon aufgeräumt - ins Restaurant kommen. Pannacotta mit Schokolade anstatt Caramel, Mineral mit anstatt wie bestellt ohne. Ja, das war nur Pinuts. Aber so etwas unfreundliches gehört NICHT in den Service, der macht alles kaputt. Als ich nach seinem Namen gefragt habe hat er mir einen türkischen Vornamen gesagt, Seine Landessprache sei English. Das in Italien. 02/11/2025: We ordered two pizzas for delivery. They promised 15 minutes, but they arrived over an hour later and delivered completely different pizzas than what we ordered! Avoid!

24/09/2025: I ordered 2 non-spicy pizzas, and I received 2 very spicy ones that we couldn't eat. For me, that's a noooo. If you don't understand Italian, put someone in charge who does. I threw €20 in the trash.

30/05/2025: La mia recensione non deve intendersi negativa, semmai uno spunto per migliorare alcuni aspetti di quello che ho potuto vedere e mangiare in questo locale. L' INSEGNA è poco visibile, attira poco l'occhio, si faceva fatica a trovare il locale. La LOCATION apparentemente partenopea, ha un aspetto dozzinale, quasi da mensa aziendale, troppo rumorosa e troppa PLASTICA nella scenografia, piante e cassette di frutta anche sopra il forno. Il MENÙ non ho sentito i calore e il profumo delle pizze napoletane, le verdure erano crude non grigliate, poi l'antipasto chiesto è arrivato con quattro palline di non si sa cosa (forse arancini), e una quantità di palline di pasta di pizza (che non c'entrano nulla se non riempirti lo stomaco, qualche oliva ascolana o mozzarella, ci stava meglio) Il PERSONALE freddo e distaccato niente a che vedere con le vere pizzerie napoletane. Ha dato l'impressione che non vedevano l'ora che ce ne andassimo. Siete giovani, un po' d'impegno se volete guadagnare.

09/04/2025: Sono andato con mia moglie e mio figlio , ci avevano parlato bene di questa pizzeria , io e mia moglie abbiamo preso la pizza , veramente buona e digeribile , mio figlio invece ha preso i fritti napoletani e una pasta patate e cozze , squisite , locale piccolo ma veramente carino e caratteristico, sembrava di essere a Napoli, cameriere carine soprattutto Aurora, gentile e professionale. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

21/07/2025: De vacaciones en Lago di Varese, pedimosn3 pizzas take away, riquisimas! excelente masa y productos frescos. . No nos quedamos a comer ahi pero el instante que esperamos las pizzas , observamos que el ambiente era muy agradable , atendido por sus dueños y familia, el sitio estaba lleno, señal de que se come muy bien!! volveremos en otra oportunidad

03/07/2025: Un giorno doveva accadere ed è successo oggi: la mia prima recensione con voto 1. Lavorando anch’io al pubblico, mostro sempre comprensione di fronte a disservizi o inconvenienti che possono capitare perché comprendo che il lavoro del ristoratore e del cameriere sia difficile. Ma quando si è serviti con sufficienza,senza senso di accoglienza e si deve pure assistere a battibecchi fra colleghi, sinceramente certe cose da parte mia non sono accettabili perché viene a mancare il rispetto nei confronti del cliente.

04/12/2025: If you don’t want to get robbed, avoid this place. We had lunch that should have cost around €52, but they charged us €72. When I asked for a receipt, they claimed the machine wasn’t working—hmmm. On top of that, the food isn’t even that good.

27/09/2025: Every time, average delays of at least 30 minutes, this time when I called to request a change of pizzeria!!! I won't miss it!!!!

19/09/2025: On top of waiting 25 minutes despite calling ahead, four poorly made pizzas—half raw, half burned! The next day we felt sick! Never again!

27/10/2025: I came in and was drinking an orange juice sitting at the table (€8) and the staff in the dining room and kitchen started saying vulgar and rude things like it stinks of (I can't write that word otherwise they won't publish the review) as if I wasn't sitting there.

23/07/2025: Like many reviews on here, we got took by the offers at the table. It is a tourist trap and like others on here took the L offered. But our coke was like 4 cokes normally at $3.50€ each so the $17€ is ok if you can drink 4 cokes…lol. Food was very good (2/3 as mine was ok) but also bit on the add ons offered, another $32€ which isn’t really worth it. And the location was great on the patio looking at a 600 year old castle. If you stay at a regular drink and don’t add garlic toast and cheese the price is the same. Be aware of the upgrades they offer and lunch will be a normal price and of good quality.

23/07/2025: Another sad case of getting fooled for not reading the reviews first. A smooth talking waiter lured us to sit at one of the caffe tables. My wife said she wanted an ice cream. He directed her to a window where the ice creams - and the prices - were displayed. She ordered a pistachio ice cream listed at 8 Euro. ( a bit expensive, we thought , but we wanted to treat her) When the bill came, we were charged … 17 Euros. We asked the waiter and he said that 8 euros was the price if we had ordered at the window. As we ordered from him there was another price in another book ( that he told us we should have asked for ???) We travelled to Bolzano and to Merano and never had any such cheap trick pulled on us in any restaurant. For a few extra Euros, do the Dante cafe realize they give a bad name to an entire industry in a certain country ? And the worst of it, they carry the name of the greatest Italian poet. They should change their name to cafe Zanni in order to match their practices.
