30/01/2026: A total scam the food was awful (even a simple tomato and basil pasta). The service poor. Toilets unhygienic. They charged us 80€ when, according to the prices on the menu the cost should have been 50€. When we challenged the manager even showing the maths according to the menu, he would not charge us less.

01/03/2026: The price, in my opinion, is untrue and much higher, which you can't verify without complaining because the receipt says 'pizzeria', nothing more.
We were prevented from paying by POS because "it's past midnight and I can't anymore." If you want to avoid a hassle, go elsewhere.
01/03/2026: Sly restaurateurs trying to raise the bill. When they asked for a list of their orders, an interminable and almost absurd discussion ensued. Strangely, the ATM stopped working after they raised the issue.

They never have basic ingredients.
It's happened several times that I've called to order and, besides giving rude answers, they never have anything (I'm talking about basic ingredients like sausages, olives, ham).

12/01/2026: Unfortunately, they've always been rude, even getting angry one day when I asked for toilet paper in the bathroom. They said customers were stealing it and I had to give it back later... but then they got even angrier when I tried to give it back. Huh?
I've tried to get kebab there many times, but once for lunch they told me they only did it after 6 PM. But another time I came back at 7 PM and they told me it was only for lunch! It sounds like a joke 😭😭
I don't mean to be mean, but even the decaf coffee was watered down and undrinkable...

28/01/2026: A pizzeria on a side street in the Niguarda area where we stayed. The pizza is good, but the place could be spruced up. A few smiles wouldn't hurt, either.

25/12/2025: Stuck in the Middle Ages. On the evening of December 25th, my boyfriend and I went out to find a place to have dinner in a spooky and deserted Madesimo. We arrived at this completely DESERTED "restaurant" and asked for a table for two with a dog. They wouldn't let us sit because dogs aren't allowed. It's 2026. They probably lost their only customers of the evening, all because they wouldn't allow a dog. We travel everywhere with our puppy and have never been denied entry to a restaurant, anywhere in Italy. Madesimo was my entire childhood, but now I understand why it's become a completely ghost town; unfortunately, it's stuck in the 1940s.
25/12/2025: ABSURD! Just this evening, for Christmas dinner, my partner, our golden retriever, and I were looking for a place to eat.
The man at the door (rude and grumpy) told us we couldn't sit in his restaurant (EMPTY! After all, how could it be otherwise with someone like that?).
Look. Considering the collapse of this country and all its businesses closed in recent years, perhaps it's time to reconsider their policies, considering it's 2026, not 1912.
The gentleman at the front desk even laughed as we left, pleased with his umpteenth failure (given all the great reviews).
No big deal, because we're at MADE MIO, which is definitely better.

29/12/2025: What I am saying here it has been said to the staff at the shop. They try to overcharge you because the price are not clear. I have bought 2 cups with 2 scoops each + a simple waffle cone with 2 scoops + a cup with one scoop and I paid €35 instead of €30 and the excuse from the staff was that the cup with the 2 scoops cost €10 instead of €8 as the sign says. But they are layers in fact a single scoop cup in the end cost me less than a single cone.
My suggestion is DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM HERE. if you wanna an ice cream and you are buying more than one ice cream pay each single ice cream
26/10/2025: Far too expensive and there were no prices at the ice cream parlor. I went there and wanted a scoop of ice cream and suddenly the woman said to me 10?! Tourist trap and rip-off. Don't go there, people, it's not worth it.

24/12/2025: I asked for a piadina and was told, "There's La Piadineria at the end of the corridor." Absolutely rude. They could have simply replied that the kitchen was closed.
03/11/2025: I went in to get a bottle of water, but the rude and arrogant cashier behind the counter attacked me simply because, having never been there before, I wasn't ready at the designated spot for payment by debit card. I hope such staff will be called back. Furthermore, when asking if I wanted a receipt, it's legally mandatory for customers to have a receipt for their purchases.
