18/10/2025: This is the neighborhood's go-to pizzeria, right in front of the Certosa di Garegnano. The atmosphere is refined and very pleasant, and in the summer you can even eat outside. The pizza is excellent, and the owners Giulia and Luca are incredibly kind and are the heart and soul of La Botte! In the photo, you can see Luca and Romeo, the pizzeria's sweet mascot dog. Highly recommended!

The fries are also good, perfectly fried and not too heavy. Always on-time with deliveries. The best takeout pizzeria around!! The delivery staff are also friendly and reliable! 24/08/2025: 40 minutes late the last 3 times out of 3, cold, soggy pizza and certainly not cheap. Uninstalled the App and removed it from the pizzerias in Mantua, never again.

10/11/2025: If you have to eat pizza in Pompiano, go to the kebab shop instead. The girl who served us was kind and professional. On the table I found a bottle of oil with an expiration date of 2024 (I'm convinced the spicy oil was filled and fresh even if I didn't taste it). You might as well get anonymous glass bottles and fill them, right? Pizza isn't considered pizza, and even though I eat six meals a day, I struggled to digest it. I work in the restaurant business and almost never review.

26/10/2025: We went for lunch on Sunday with the whole family of six... we ordered various dishes of the day, but unfortunately, none of them met our expectations... the portions were small for the price, and the guanciale for the carbonara was inedible and smelly! The staff was very kind and even offered us a focaccia to share while we waited! However, it wasn't enough to make us leave satisfied, and we won't be returning! It doesn't directly overlook the lake, but a parking lot!

21/10/2025: We had a wonderful evening in this beautiful restaurant, where the atmosphere is good and the food (and beer) are delicious! I highly recommend it!

03/12/2025: The food is decent, nothing special. The place itself is a normal restaurant, a bit cramped, nothing special. What I have to seriously complain about are two women who worked there. They asked us to move from our table before we finished eating. When we refused to move, we were just finishing our meal, and they made a scene in front of other customers, calling us "arrogant people and children." This behavior is unacceptable! As customers, if we sit at the table, we have no obligation to leave until we've finished eating. Try changing the way you approach the customers who come to your restaurant to appreciate your dishes. If you do, you'll lose customers over time and ruin your reputation in the area. Good luck with your customers!

16/11/2025: Milanese-style deep-dish pizza, simple and very good. The restaurant is welcoming, with an old-world feel. There are fewer and fewer like this left, and it's a shame. Gianni is very kind.

21/10/2025: I think it's a good, high-quality place; however, they showed little respect for their customers: they offered a dough with a different flour but didn't specify the surcharge, just to entice the customer. Then, at the checkout, they found themselves with a tomato and basil pizza that went from €5 to €9.50 and a Regina Margherita that went from €11 to €14.50. The total dough surcharge was €3.50 per pizza, which wasn't mentioned by the waiter and wasn't even listed on the menu. Dishonest.
