19/06/2025: Following a recommendation from our vacation rental landlord, we reserved a table at this restaurant. The pizzeria specializes in large pizzas for two people, and they offer a very large selection of different pizzas on the menu. Due to several large parties that evening, it was unfortunately not possible to order two small pizzas due to the extra effort involved. The service was very friendly. The pizza tasted absolutely fantastic; the crust was wafer-thin; we've rarely had such a great pizza. The price was also totally reasonable, and the atmosphere was lovely with a view of the local church. We'd be happy to come back :)

15/06/2025: We were quite disappointed, as the service left a lot to be desired. Sure, we're young people in our early 30s, but that doesn't mean we're less well-off than the older clientele in designer clothes (who were obviously served differently). Numerous guests arrived after us and received their food earlier. Everyone received a bottle of water except us. We couldn't order any more drinks because no one paid any attention, and half of our order wasn't even brought. It's not a pleasant feeling, since all customers should have equal rights (in terms of treatment)!

04/06/2025: The food is excellent, the entire menu can be gluten-free. The fritto misto was really good, and the ravioli di ombrina were delicious. The other people took two pizzas, also good. The trofei al pesto were also excellent (the only first course not available in the gluten-free version). The desserts were also good. The waiters were kind, friendly and helpful; it's a shame that the lady at the cash register was less hospitable. I recommend!

16/03/2025: Pizzeria restaurant discovered not too long ago, superlative pizza (we will try the fish shortly), super honest prices and a welcoming and very pleasant environment.

02/02/2025: Intimate, warm and welcoming restaurant, tasty typical sea and land dishes! There are owls everywhere, more or less funny, of all shapes, very characteristic! Marco is a very good chef, the love and passion he puts into his dishes can be felt in the taste! I recommend trying its first courses and the owl appetizer, you will be amazed! The thin pizzas with soft dough, very seasoned (with one you are satisfied, especially seafood!) with a nice draft beer, which went down very well. Homemade desserts, delicious meringue and tiramisu. Despite the many people on Saturday evening, the staff was able to manage the service as best as possible. We feel satisfied, enjoyed and with a full belly. We will definitely return to eat at Il Gufo!

04/06/2025: We sat down and after a bit of a wait I got up to go and place my order (they told me they would come soon, but when? There were 4 of them behind the counter and they greeted us when we sat down) the management is not very clear. You get your own drinks, they don't always come out to order, they bring us a pizza and we had to go back for cutlery. They are very busy with the orders that come in on the phone and the deliveries. Average food. I wasn't very happy, I don't know if I would go back. It's probably good for young people to eat a sandwich or pizza on the fly without pretensions.

30/05/2025: Very warm welcome. We came on May 29, 2025, and there were just four of us. It's perfect for people who don't like crowded restaurants. The pizzas 🍕 were very good. The staff was very kind and friendly. A wonderful discovery!

06/06/2025: Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. The menu was huge. I used google translate to talk to the owners they were most welcoming and managed to squeeze us in although in. Food is well priced and delicious. If I ever come back to Rapallo this is the place I will make a be line for to experience real Italian family restaurant. I loved it. Thank you.

Every detail is taken care of with taste, and it almost seems like being in a small secret garden. The cuisine is simply excellent: dishes prepared with fresh ingredients, creative combinations and authentic flavors. The service is attentive and friendly, without ever being intrusive. 13/05/2025: Questo ristorante offre piatti curatissimi, che nascono da ingredienti scelti con competenza e ispirazione. Visito la zona 3-4 volte l'anno e immancabilmente mi concedo un "petite crudité" al "petit jardin": una scelta di gamberoni, tonno e salmone (Ora King per chi sa di cosa sto parlando). Dire che si tratta di poesia per il palato non è un'iperbole.

08/06/2025: We had dinner at this pizza restaurant. The food itself is not bad, but the service is terrible. Two people ate right away, one after half an hour and the fourth did not eat, the dish ordered never arrived despite the reminders.

26/04/2025: Belin belina takes the name away from me. Very good pizzas, excellent focaccias. Family gastrointestinal problem immediately afterwards, a bit of doubt arises but I don't feel like blaming the stracchino, because cheese focaccia is a divinity to which I have always risen and here is one of its temples. Maybe emmu ate a little too much with the funnel pa' famme....

08/06/2025: A place set in an industrial warehouse that is also home to the Arenzano Brewery. So they make their own beer and it is very good. The place is obviously not suitable for a "candlelight" dinner but rather for dinners with friends. There are also evenings dedicated to watching sporting events. That said, the pizza is excellent, gourmet type, and also the BBQ-style food (e.g. hamburgers). On the mezzanine floor, however, there are a dozen billiard tables for playing American cue. It would have been nice to have a couple of billiard tables for Italian cue (3 balls) and bowls.
