06/01/2026: Today, January 6, 2026, in Izmir (Turkey), where I now work, I had Epiphany breakfast with bread purchased from this bakery on December 30, 2025. It's still delicious. I don't think anything else is needed. Exceptional!

As soon as you enter, you feel like you're in a real home...that feeling of warmth extends beyond the simple, high-quality food and the varied menu. There's a wide selection of meats and an equally impressive selection of strictly homemade pasta; the staff is attentive and helpful. Highly recommended...thanks to Pino and his family.

16/03/2026: We came here for lunch on Sunday following the advice of many people and they were right, everything was delicious, the tartare with marrow was delicious along with the carbonara with pistachios which left us amazed, even though I always want to try new places to eat here I would gladly go back to try other cuts of meat

A casual yet elegant location, attentive and friendly service, and a varied cuisine with interesting options for both meat-eaters and vegetarians. The cheese selection is excellent, as are the homemade fregnacce. Highly recommended.

26/12/2025: Always a great experience here at Taverna del Tiranno: I've tried it on several occasions, especially for lunch during short trips out of the Sabine-Rieti area (for example, it's just minutes from Farfa Abbey and many other charming little villages worth visiting). Even during this latest offering—a Christmas lunch with family and relatives—Raniero, his partner, and their team proved to be an excellent team in charge of the dining room and kitchen, demonstrating courtesy, simplicity, friendliness, and that touch of rusticity and refinement that distinguishes them. The Christmas tasting menu was incredibly balanced in flavors and portions, allowing us to fully savor each dish and arrive at the coffee shop feeling happy, satisfied, and not weighed down. Kudos to the selection of local ingredients and the extensive and well-rounded wine cellar, offering local and Italian wines (with a few excursions beyond the Alps), with a special focus on small, artisanal and sustainable producers, including labels that will please natural wine lovers. 28/02/2026: Wonderful!!! I would say, perfect, because there were no shortcomings. Location, service, atmosphere - at the highest level. The dishes are simply unique! From appetizers to simply extraordinary dessert. Delicious cheeses, homemade pasta, rabbit, a wonderful experience. Delicious homemade wine. The owner made a discount of 12 euros. I think this is a pretty good amount. He also treated us to a delicious liqueur. After dinner, we enjoyed a walk among the pine trees. We are waiting for warm days to tan and have lunch in the fresh air. I highly recommend it and we will definitely come back! Thank you to the owners. You made our holiday even better! 06/01/2026: The pieces are getting smaller and smaller! The prices are getting higher and higher. When it's time to pay, they treat you as if they're afraid you won't get paid. It's really annoying. Hygiene is poor, meaning that money and pizza are handled at the same time. They don't wear white shirts or caps, as required when serving food and drinks. Overall, I'm not satisfied.

08/03/2026: The wood-fired pizza is delicious, with an easy-to-digest dough and Roman-style crust, meaning thin and crispy. The appetizer platters are very interesting, accompanied by excellent warm focaccia. The fried foods are average. Reasonable prices. Remember to book and arm yourself with a healthy dose of patience once you're seated...you'll be rewarded with an excellent pizza!

06/03/2026: I think it's the best pizzeria in the area. The pizza is delicious, and the size defies physics, overflowing from the plate—it's simply enormous. I highly recommend, if you're a couple, ordering just one appetizer and a pizza. The pizza is so big that they offer two-for-one option, half of one type and half of another. The staff is knowledgeable and reliable. Excellent prices. Worth a try in the winter, but summer is fantastic, with a small private square in front of the restaurant that creates a wonderful atmosphere. I also recommend making a reservation.

26/08/2025: Personally, I had a good time. Nice place, a bit of an old-fashioned trattoria, and the staff was friendly and efficient. The pizza is very thin, true, but good. The toppings are adequate and good. The fried foods were good. We went on a Saturday night...a little crowded and noisy...but bearable for me. There's an outdoor area where you can relax and enjoy a nice aperitif. They have good beers. Reasonable prices. As I always say...this is my opinion.

20/08/2025: Too bad. I was there for the first time in July, and everything was excellent, nothing to complain about. This evening was a tragedy: we sat down at 8:30 PM (as per our telephone reservation made on MONDAY), but after complaining, we ate our pizzas at around 9:45 PM. Furthermore, a gentleman came to our table—I don't know if he was the owner or someone else—and, in a threatening tone, complained that we had asked the wait staff a couple of times how long it would take to get these pizzas. Furthermore, the tone in which he kept claiming that he had told those who had booked that since there were large groups we had to come earlier was very annoying and unpleasant. First of all, I was NOT TOLD ANYTHING. The fact that there are groups is not the customer's problem, and it's not that I have to come at 7 to eat pizza because you have tables for 30 people. So, dear gentleman, who didn't even show up, this is not the way to do business. One less customer due to your arrogance and rudeness.

25/02/2026: Maybe not the most beautiful, but the pizza and appetizers were excellent, there was a good selection of beers, excellent desserts, and the waiter was excellent... He handled everything with commendable professionalism. I hope to return soon.

18/02/2026: Very good pizza with a light, easily digestible dough. The desserts were also interesting. The location doesn't have many seats, so reservations are recommended. As it's only open in the evening, service is divided into two shifts: 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM and 9:30 PM - 11:00 PM.
