10/06/2026: It was the first and last time I went. I went for dinner. First of all, they are very rude, to have a bottle of water brought you have to ask several times. Then you set a price and when you go to pay it increases almost double. Without eating, at least we stay light 😀😀

12/08/2026: Family-run restaurant. Local cuisine with genuine, zero-mile ingredients. Their homemade bread and wine taralli are delicious. We'll definitely be back. The only downside is access to the restaurant via an iron staircase that seems unstable and gives off a sense of neglect.

05/07/2026: Historic pizzeria! I've been getting takeout pizza here for a while now, and it's delicious! If you want a nice topped pizza, they offer the best! Don't overdo it with the slices, because the pizzas are really full.

We stopped at Osteria da Peppe in Castrovillari on our way back from vacation, and we couldn't have made a better choice. The restaurant is welcoming, but the real highlight is the food: we tried the buffalo mozzarella alla cacciatora, absolutely one of the best dishes we've ever had. Balanced flavors, incredibly tender meat, and masterful preparation. What made our visit even more special was the owner. He proved to be a delightful person, extremely pleasant and passionate.

16/08/2026: True tradition and great hospitality! We had lunch at Peppe's in Castro dei Volsci and it was a wonderful discovery. Typical, traditional, and authentically homemade cuisine: everything was truly delicious! I had the pappardelle with ragù (flavorful and perfectly cooked) and the buffalo meat cacciatore, an original and truly delicious dish. Highly recommended if you're looking for authentic old-world flavors.

I really enjoyed the flavors of the first courses, the delicious gnocchi, but the meat-based second courses are also their specialty. The service was excellent, and the waitresses were simply wonderful and very professional. I've been there several times and have always found the atmosphere welcoming. Regarding the prices, considering what they offer, they're more than fair.
