03/05/2026: EXCEPTIONAL RESTAURANT!!! This evening we went to eat at Ristorale Il Giardino to celebrate my father-in-law's birthday. The staff welcomed us immediately and were very hospitable. The wait times were short, and the food was top-notch. I highly recommend trying this restaurant; they pay attention to every detail, from the quality of the food to the presentation and cleanliness!

30/04/2026: Our group didn't like the pizza very much; some pizzas were left behind, sorry. The staff was very friendly and efficient.

08/04/2026: Update: The venue has been permanently closed for a few months.

01/01/2026: New Year's Eve 2025/2026 The menu was good quality; I understood it was a gourmet dinner, but the appetizer and dessert were nonexistent, while the other courses varied depending on the table. The first tables served received normal portions, while the last tables received rationed portions. Furthermore, the music was nice, but deafening, from 9:00 PM until we left at 2:00 AM. Without a break, it was impossible to have any conversation with the other diners. In short, for the price we paid, it wasn't worth it.

05/04/2026: Very spacious place, fantastic pizza: one of the best in Chiavari. The food and desserts are also excellent. Very friendly staff.

06/01/2026: Aldero Hotel, Restaurant, and Pizzeria... top! A family-run establishment. Each floor of the rooms is a different color, with rare construction technology, from the room to the suite, etc. I recommend it.

26/02/2026: I had lunch on the veranda with two friends and I must say I had a truly wonderful time. The lady who served us was incredibly kind and helpful. We enjoyed delicious food, from the freshest fish starters to the fried fish and main courses. The 1960s-style dining room is simply and functionally furnished, ensuring tranquility and good food at prices you won't find anywhere else. Highly recommended!!!

12/04/2026: Lunch with a tour group. The menu was pre-arranged, but the service was very fast, friendly, and professional. All the dishes were truly excellent, especially the chicken Viterbo style. It was truly delicious, melting in your mouth. Highly recommended!

07/03/2026: Bad experience. They're trying to cut corners! The pizza is so thin, like carasau bread. The baked potatoes are cut into tiny pieces, and the zucchini flowers are tiny. On the other hand, the price includes a cover charge, which is excessive for such a basic place! Go elsewhere!

03/07/2025: Abbiamo scoperto questo locale su consiglio di amici. Premesso che dopo il caldo di Roma il fatto che si riuscisse a respirare era sufficiente a dare una super valutazione, ma il ristorante merita molto di più. Innanzitutto é presente anche il menu per chi é intollerante al lattosio o per chi é celiaco, mettono delle graziose bandierine per distinguere le portate senza lattosio o per celiaci al fine di evitare che una volta a tavola si possa far confusione. Siamo stati serviti da Valentino, unico nella sua professionalità ed estremamente gentile e disponibile, ha ispirato a tutti una immediata simpatia, qualità molto rare, abbiamo preso dei deliziosi supplì della casa, consigliati sempre da Valentino e da provare assolutamente, la pizza, anche qui provate quella della casa (pizza vecchia locanda) , e poi i dolci, fatti da loro! Una creme brûlé al pistacchio con pezzettini di cioccolato fondente, mitica, idem il tiramisù, se a tutto questo si aggiunge assenza di rumori della città e prezzi onestissimi, sicuramente torneremo per provare le altre pietanze !

27/06/2025: Ho contattato il ristorante tramite Just Eat ed ho pagato due volte quanto ordinato. Ho contattato il ristorante per il rimborso ed il proprietario è stato molto gentile e disponibile; onesto al punto da dire "non voglio sapere nemmeno cosa è successo, le renderò la cifra spesa". Quanto ordinato era molto buono quindi oltre alla massima disponibilità ed onestà, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Assolutamente consigliato!

14/12/2025: Last night I went to get a slice of pizza but the owner looked at me with a serious look because I didn't take the pizza from her. The reason was that there was no pizza that I liked, so I didn't take it and I left. I think that education is the first thing, treating a customer with respect without mistreating him with an angry expression in my opinion.

05/01/2026: A family-run restaurant with a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, tasty menus made with fresh, well-cooked products. We were there on December 25th for lunch. The food was generous and delicious.
