A meticulously maintained and stylishly furnished environment, an unparalleled view of the first hills of Friuli (both from the spacious outdoor terrace and the upstairs mezzanine), and extremely friendly staff. But above all, refined, varied, sophisticated, and flavorful cuisine that will delight even a carnivore like myself. Pets are welcome. The online booking system is very convenient. A place we'll definitely return to.

The staff is very kind and courteous, serving customers with expertise and great discretion—always attentive, but never intrusive (a rare quality these days). 14/03/2026: For those looking for an alternative to the classic pizza, Baci di Pizza is the perfect choice. Excellent pizza dough topped with a wide variety of ingredients, from vegetables to cheeses and cured meats. Tasty and appealing. A decent place with professional staff. Recommended.

The restaurant is always meticulously prepared, focusing on the quality of the ingredients (the first courses are excellent, especially the saffron gnocchi!) and the variety of the culinary offerings. The pizza is a must-try, featuring a highly digestible dough that I always pair with the ever-present and excellent bottled red beer, Zahre di Sauris! I choose it and frequent it often because it represents a solid point of reference and never disappoints expectations. I may be biased, but my analysis is objective nonetheless, reflecting authenticity and Carnic intellectual honesty. It always favors those who have the vocation of always offering the best of themselves in what they do and how they present it. Cleanliness and order in the dining room complete the package for a full and satisfying assessment of the overall perceived and experienced service. 15/03/2026: Pizza ordered through Just Eat. It arrived cold, as pictured. I'm reheating it in the oven. And to top it off, it had a burnt edge. I'm sorry, but you can't do something like this! 20 euros for dinner.

19/01/2026: We visited this place based on Google reviews, but we were sorely disappointed. The pizza was terrible, far removed from true Italian pizza. The gnocchi quattro formaggi was a complete disaster… overcooked potato dumplings with a bland sauce (possibly made from powder). The cuisine has nothing in common with Italian cuisine. Not to mention the restroom, where it's probably better to sit down these days than crouch over a hole in the floor. The service was okay, and the atmosphere was okay too. Two stars for the good Aperol.

11/03/2026: We stopped here for a business lunch: the very friendly owner immediately puts you at ease. We ordered a pizza to share, and I have to say it was really good. Then came the risotto with basil cream, cavolo nero, and monkfish. I'm not a big fan of fish, but this was incredible. Hats off!

01/03/2026: I ate three truly excellent dishes. The gnocchi with San Daniele prosciutto were soft, coated in a delicate cream that enhanced the aroma of the prosciutto without overpowering it: a seemingly simple dish, executed with great care. The frico was a surprise: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a perfect balance of potatoes and cheese, truly one of the best I've ever tasted. The caponata was spectacular, rich, balanced, and with a precise sweet and sour flavor that showcased every ingredient. A cuisine that combines tradition and technique, leaving you wanting more.
