12/09/2023: Everything is great about this restaurant that we visited several times, but always when visiting Trieste. If I had a dinner somewhere else, I would go for second dinner in Mascalzone. I remember Rocco, the owner, who looks like Mancini, and the staff that was always on top level. Nice, warm atmosphere and above all very tasty, simple food, prices normal. Recommendation.

26/07/2023: Unfortunately, this wonderful pizzeria no longer exists. I was told it was closed due to retirement. Such a shame, several visits to this restaurant were part of every vacation. All the best in the pension.

03/08/2023: Agghiacciante. Premetto che questa è stata la secondo o forse terza opportunità che ho provato a dare a questo locale prima di scrivere una recensione. Purtroppo la mia opinione non è cambiata. Locale già da fuori molto trasandato, non si capisce se stia cadendo a pezzi o ci stiano lavorando. Accoglienza inesistente, si entra e si inizia a gironzolare in un locale praticamente deserto finchè qualcuno del personale non ti nota. Tempi eterni sia per ordinare che per mangiare (premetto che non ci sono mai stata i weekend e che forse c'erano altri 2-3 tavoli occupati oltre al nostro). Polletto crudo. Cotoletta alla milanese che si è rivelata un cordon-bleu confezionato formato bambino (e non era nel menù bimbi), patatine scaldate alla buona (ma di sicuro fritte molto prima della nostra ordinazione). Pizza che arriva quando tutti gli altri hanno finito di mangiare. Panini anonimi. I prezzi sono nella media, ma il rapporto qualità prezzo totalmente inesistente. Davvero un dispiacere scrivere recensioni così, sarò sincera...

18/07/2023: Très accueillant et sympas nous avons commander 3 pizzas une chèvre miel une lyonnaise une margarita toutes ont étés très bonne si j’habitais dans la région j’y viendrai souvent elles sont pas chères en plus n’hésitez pas

18/08/2023: Day at the pool, around two o'clock we sit at the counter and ask if we can still eat something, they answer in the affirmative and then we order drinks and food, the drinks arrive immediately, while waiting I witness complaints from other customers about incorrect accounts, after about half an hour I ask for information on the food that never arrived and I am told that the kitchen is closed, I pay for the drinks and leave.

13/08/2023: They open at 6 p.m. At 7:00 p.m., the first-choice dish is gone, and the next one ordered is gone, the waitress comes to say in 20 minutes... The food is very average, the tagliata is overcooked, the pasta has no real taste. Absolutely too much waiting, all in all below expectations
