04/05/2025: A place without too many pretensions, we stopped specifically on our way back from a holiday; the girl who welcomed us was very helpful and kind. We asked for the fixed menu, but as it was Sunday it was not provided; there would be a need for a general tidy up (especially in the bathrooms a bit of maintenance is needed!!) but for a good meal while spending little it's more than fine.

07/04/2025: Best home delivery pizzeria ever! I have been a customer for 15 years... the pizza is delicious, the staff is very kind, everyone is smart. Maximum waiting time 30 minutes (including weekends), when for other pizzerias deliveries go well beyond an hour (and related inedible pizzas). Most of the time they arrive before the scheduled time, I live in the area and the pizza arrives piping hot. Well done!

Not even in Afghanistan do they make a pizza like that, terrible ingredients, unmatched taste and presence equal to my naked grandmother.. 31/01/2025: Quick lunch. Place with too many tiny tables, impossible to put two pizzas, a beer and two glasses without overlapping something. Too many signs showing that the owner is tired of this job... Lightweight plastic cutlery that bends and does not cut. Obligation to clear the table and carry out separate waste collection. One euro cover charge. Luckily the pizza is good!

05/06/2025: These guys are really good and willing, when we call them for take-out delivery, they are always very helpful and try in every way to meet our needs. And then, as it happened in other pizzerias, they never go wrong with our thousand variations! :)

09/06/2025: Located directly on the Lungomare di Ostia, inside a beach resort, La Bussola presents itself as one of those places that focus on a simple but well-targeted formula: seafood, breathtaking views and a holiday atmosphere even just a stone's throw from Rome. The restaurant's strong point is undoubtedly the location. The outdoor tables overlook the beach and, especially at sunset, the atmosphere is priceless. Whether it's a relaxed lunch or a romantic dinner, dining with the sound of the waves in the background offers a pleasant and relaxing sensory experience. The cuisine mainly offers fish-based dishes, with a varied menu that ranges from raw and cooked appetizers to grilled or stewed second courses. The mussels alla marinara, often recommended by the staff, are very tasty and plentiful. Among the first courses, the spaghetti with clams and the risotto with scampi cream are among the most ordered, even if they are not always perfect: on some occasions the dish can be slightly salty or with the presence of sand, perhaps a sign of a not always constant control over the raw material. The service is polite but can be inconsistent, especially on very busy summer days: it happens that you have to wait a long time between one course and the next, or that some detail escapes the staff. However, the kindness of the staff, in general, manages to compensate for some small flaws. The prices are medium-high: you also pay for the location. For a complete meal (appetizer, first course, second course, wine and dessert) you can easily get to 50-60 euros per person, but if you choose carefully the bill remains reasonable. Also noteworthy is the availability of fresh fruit served in a scenic manner, perfect for ending the meal in summer style. In conclusion, La Bussola is a place to choose when you want to experience a lunch or dinner that has the flavor of the sea, not only on the plate but also in the air. If you are looking for technical perfection in the kitchen you might be slightly disappointed, but if you are looking for atmosphere, relaxation and good company in front of a nice fried food and a glass of chilled white, then you are in the right place.

Non so come siano stati fatti ma il brodo vegan era più buono di quello di carne, entrambi ottimi. Tempi di attesa un po' lunghi, ma probabilmente motivati dal fatto che sono cucinati al momento. C'è stato un errore sugli sconti The Fork ma il titolare ha provveduto a correggere. Molto soddisfatto

11/05/2025: It is a pleasant place, in the green hills of Bologna. The location is fantastic and pleasant! I've frequented this restaurant over the course of many years, I hadn't been in a while, and frankly I was a little disappointed. The menu does not specify which gluten-free foods are available, and the waiter who was supposed to take the order went back and forth a few times to ask for information and had no idea how to direct us. Inflation is fine, but we spent about double compared to 2/3 years ago, for the service and the type of dishes offered... we were disappointed.
