01/11/2025: Alright, so I stroll up to this little spot perched above the Amalfi Coast—view looks like it was painted by Michelangelo’s cousin who was really into carbs. You can smell the pizza before you see it. That’s always a good sign. They bring it out—thin crust, perfectly blistered, looks like it spent just the right amount of time in the oven. Not too doughy, not too cracker-y. I take the first bite—boom. Immediate flavor punch. The sauce has that fresh, slightly sweet San Marzano thing going on. Cheese ratio? Money. Crust has the right amount of char. You know when you hit that perfect chew? Yeah, it’s that. No floppy nonsense, no soggy middle. Just a proper Neapolitan-style pie executed by someone who clearly knows what they’re doing. I’m sitting here overlooking the Mediterranean eating one of the best pizzas I’ve had in Italy, and I’ve eaten a lot of pizza. Score? We’re talking strong numbers. I’m giving it a 9.1—elite pie, certified Amalfi Coast heater. One bite, everybody knows the rules.

22/10/2025: While staying at Pepe's, I visited a family-run restaurant. They even provided free car pickup from the hotel, and the family was so warm and welcoming. 🥹 I had the arabiata and the traditional Amalfi seafood pasta with thick noodles. It was delicious and the portions were huge!! The price was reasonable, but the portions were generous. The seafood pasta sauce was especially delicious. The noodles had a texture and flavor I'd never experienced before, so it was a new experience~ They gave me a welcome drink as soon as I arrived, and after the meal, they gave me a small cup of tiramisu, chocolate cream, and a limoncello shot for dessert. 😭😭 I was so happy to have finished a perfect meal!! The night view from the outdoor terrace was especially beautiful. I wanted to visit again on my last day, but it was too late, so I couldn't. I'll definitely visit again next time I'm in Italy!! 🩵

18/09/2025: I went to this place for the first time with my girlfriend. I'd heard about "Monti la pizza fritta" and followed it on social media, but I'd never had the chance to try it. The place is located in the center of Battipaglia; you can park a few hundred meters away and walk. It's always a good idea to book on weekends to ensure a seat. This place has a very original look; as soon as you enter, it feels like you've stepped back in time, with a spectacular, meticulously designed setting. It makes a truly evocative impact, accompanied by delicious Neapolitan background music. We tried quite a few things: the frittatina, fries, fried pizza, bruschetta, and finally the fried dessert, all washed down with good beer. The menu is truly spoiled for choice. After ordering, you're given a light that sounds as soon as your order is ready. We sat down, and after just 10 minutes, our order was ready! Spectacular, fast service. Everything was delicious, and I didn't suffer from any stomach upset or acid reflux. I'm happy with this experience, and I'll definitely be spending more evenings there with friends. 07/10/2025: Absolutely fantastic experience at Mimmo e Lucio! I had the pizza and the carbonara, and both were incredible. The pizza was perfectly cooked — thin, crispy crust with just the right balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings. The carbonara was rich, creamy, and authentic, with that perfect touch of pecorino and pancetta that makes it unforgettable. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. You can really taste the passion and quality in every bite. Definitely one of the best Italian meals I’ve had!

21/09/2025: Very good, I've been here twice. The first time I had the panuozzo with croquettes, and the second time I had croquettes, a pasta frittata, and pasta with fish. I also recommend them for their kindness.

09/10/2025: I understand it was the weekend, but we waited over an hour for anything to arrive at the table. The pizzas were good, but my bianca was a bit dull in flavor, and it was only redeemed when I managed to find a small piece of sausage or yellow cherry tomato in the slice. Prices were high.

09/11/2025: My friends and I had a table booked for 8:30 PM, but they made us wait an hour in line outside in the rain because the table wasn't free yet. Despite this, the cartwheel pizza was very good and the atmosphere was quite welcoming.

20/10/2025: Yesterday we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary, and I wanted to thank Mr. Gino and his team for doing everything perfectly, despite the packed house. We spent so many evenings and lunches, but yesterday was truly exceptional. See you soon.

14/10/2025: We had dinner with friends, starting with a generous, almost immense, meat platter, accompanied by delicious side dishes and a delicious Margherita crunch. We continued with some delicious meat-based first courses. We finished with fruit and delicious desserts, especially the chef's tiramisu😉 and the babà with cream. 06/11/2025: A disappointing and unprofessional experience. We've been to this restaurant many times, but unfortunately, we've had unpleasant experiences on two occasions. The first time, we asked for appetizers to be served first, followed by pizzas, but they brought everything together. When we pointed out the misunderstanding, the waiter and even the owner were rude, showing no helpfulness or kindness, an attitude that left us very perplexed. Despite this, we decided to give it a second chance, because the food itself is good. However, on our second visit, the staff made jokes about the previous situation, which was unprofessional. The worst, however, happened with the dessert: I found a small piece of plastic in the tiramisu. We immediately reported the problem, and they took only that dessert off our bill, without any particular apology or attention to the incident. Since then, we've tried returning several times, but for over a month, we've been told "there was no room." It's hard not to think they no longer want to accept us as customers. It's a shame, because the food is basically good, but the lack of professionalism and respect towards customers weighs much more than a well-cooked dish.

28/10/2025: A very nice and cozy pizzeria with high-quality ingredients, cooked to perfection. Only pizzas, but very good. The staff is attentive and polite. Prices are slightly higher than the local average, but justified by the quality of the food. I will definitely be back.
