22/06/2025: Pizzas ordered for takeout last night margherita and stuffed calzone the margherita was frozen and the ingredients raw the frozen stuffed calzone and the raw ingredients inside all thrown away even trying to reheat them This is the response to your comment 1 the pizzas were raw but like the dough and ingredients were not cooked so let's not blame the delivery guy 2 the pizza was cold because the ingredients were raw starting from the dough and it's not the delivery guy's fault because I'm 2 minutes away and I can see its route and the time it takes to arrive on the app 3 if you are not able to do takeaway don't DO it so you don't blame the delivery guy when things go wrong 4 I came from nearby and I say let's leave the other comments alone... ok

07/04/2025: Ho provato questa pizzeria anche in settimana poiché il sabato l' attesa e la confusione non ne farebbero valere la pena. La pizza è buona ma non eccezionale,mi aspettavo qualcosa in più,visti i prezzi. La margheritá è molto saporita, quella con black Angus un po' meno,a mio parere non ne vale molto la pena e punterei su altre pizze la prossima volta. Tuttavia sono rimasto colpito per i loro babbá,tra i più buoni assaggiati a Salerno! Ci ritornerò sicuramente.

24/07/2025: This place was an absolute disaster from start to finish. I honestly don’t understand how it’s still in business. From the moment we walked in, we were hit with a musty smell and a depressing atmosphere that felt more like a run-down waiting room than a restaurant. We waited over an hour for our food — despite the place being half-empty — and when it finally arrived, it was cold, bland, and clearly microwaved. I ordered a schnitzel that could’ve doubled as a rubber shoe sole, and the sides were greasy, soggy, and completely unappetizing. I’ve had better meals out of a vending machine. The service? Awful. The staff looked annoyed just to be there. Unfriendly, inattentive, and couldn’t be bothered to check on us once. When we mentioned the issues, they shrugged and walked away. Not even a fake apology. And let’s not even talk about the bathrooms — filthy, disgusting, and clearly not cleaned all day. No toilet paper, no soap. Honestly, a health inspector’s worst nightmare. Bottom line: This “restaurant” fails on every single level — food, service, hygiene, atmosphere. I wouldn’t wish this experience on my worst enemy. Save yourself the regret and go literally anywhere else.

10/07/2025: A rose among thorns, this place is what you want for a quick delicious meal. My boys and I took a 10 minute walk and found this gem. Fantastic food and a great local atmosphere.

30/07/2025: Di solito cerco sempre di trovare qualche lato positivo da un’esperienza negativa, ma in questo caso davvero non riesco. Locale che fa menù a prezzi super accessibili, con un antipasto dove ho trovato una montanara sapidissima e super unta, pizza al di sotto della media partenopea, ma parlo di impasto poiché a livello di condimento non era neanche così male. Nota super negativa il servizio, penso una delle pizzerie dove mi sono trovato peggio, una confusione totale dove una richiesta al cameriere deve essere fatta almeno 3-4 volte prima di essere portata a termine. Concludo con il dire solo che per un caffè ho dovuto aspettare mezz’ora dopo averlo chiesto al meno sei volte. Sconsiglio fortemente

The service also deserves a positive note: the staff is kind, fast and always available to advise. The atmosphere of the place is warm and familiar, ideal for a dinner with friends or family. Waiting times are more than acceptable, even on the busiest days. In short, Luna Rossa is a pizzeria that combines flavor, quality and a nice atmosphere. And be careful with your bill; you might end up with items you ordered that never made it to the table, due to their negligence. A nightmare pizzeria. Negative reviews are useful for improving.

06/08/2025: If you want a real Italian pizza, you go to Pizzeria Bella 'Mbria. The Staff are welcoming, knowledgeable (one if ours has some allergies, and they knew every single ingredient in the food), and above else - professional to a fault. We had so much fun here it's unreal. The food was delicious. There's a collection of local alcohols to choose from, and if you need anything specific that's not on the menu, just ask about it. When we're in Pompeii next time, this will be our go-to Restaurant.
