31/01/2026: We won't be returning to this place. We didn't like the pizza; it's not the typical pizza you'd expect in the South. The seafood scialatielli are their own invention, but they're not scialatielli, but that's what they're called. We found sand on our plate. Since I don't like leaving reviews without giving them a chance to fix the problem, we told the waiter, who then reported it to the owner. Luckily, she didn't charge us, but she seemed annoyed and didn't offer us alternatives. We left still hungry. It's a touristy place... There are better ones.
06/01/2026: A fantastic recommendation for lunch/dinner in Sorrento at a great price and with excellent quality. A family-run restaurant with friendly service and honest pricing. They don't try to charge extra for services that aren't listed on the bill. The Carbonara is one of the best I've ever had. And their spaghetti alla Nerano is some of the best on the coast.

27/02/2026: Very poor food, imagine that on February 25th, there were only the two of us at dinner, husband and wife. As soon as we sat down, they asked us what we were eating. The lady came over and said, "If you don't want the first course, I'll take care of it." It was fine. The food was stale, 2 appetizers... just one calamari... half a glass of red wine, a bottle of still water, 82 euros. When I left, I crossed myself with my foot and said never to return. They can close up shop and throw away the keys. It was very pleasant when it was run by Franco's brother-in-law, the owner of the pizzeria at the same place.
26/02/2026: Last night we went for dinner... what can I say? Terrible is perhaps an understatement... based on fish that we couldn't tell from which Atlantic it came from, we were served octopus Luciana-style with a burnt taste, garlic-marinated salmon that had been marinating for who knows how many weeks, ready-made parmigiana that had been prepared who knows how many days ago, the sauce had a sour taste. The second course arrived with only one calamari, grilled in half each, with a bitter taste, and not only that! It wasn't even fresh. Anyway, I don't recommend it.

24/02/2026: Easily accessible restaurant just steps from the highway. It has ample parking. They also have gluten-free pasta. Helpful staff. Everything was delicious, especially the cortecce with sausage, provola, and eggplant. The only downside was the suckling pig was a bit cold and dry. Otherwise, everything was excellent, even the appetizer. I recommend it and would definitely return.

24/01/2026: Such a bad experience that calling it "dinner" is an act of generosity. We arrived with a reservation and were treated like extras standing in the background: a full hour of waiting for a table. And not just any table—the one strategically placed next to the door, which was constantly open, with drafts worthy of a train station and the line of other customers literally pressing against us as they waited. More than a restaurant, it felt like a doctor's waiting room... but without the human warmth. After an hour in the refrigerator, the second phase of the endurance experiment began: another hour to eat. A total of two hours for a meal that, in hindsight, would have been better off skipped. The food? Two unremarkable sandwiches, but the real masterpiece was the pizza. On top was a cheese that to call "questionable" is a diplomatic compliment. The flavor was unpleasant, the quality was clearly low, and the end result: inedible pizza. And it's serious, because getting a bad pizza in a restaurant is like getting a bad coffee in a bar: it's the foundation, not the fine molecular cuisine. Slow service, lack of organization, zero comfort, food quality below even the most pessimistic expectations. The only significant thing was the wait. I won't be back, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who respects their time, their stomach, and their body temperature.

06/01/2026: We stumbled upon this trattoria in the Spanish Quarter, and the owner was kind enough to find us a place to dine (six people, the place was full). We've been back twice, and the best seafood dish I've ever had was the linguine alla Santa Lucia. Highly recommended. The staff is kind and helpful. Well done.

16/10/2025: The pizza was okay. While waiting for a top-tier pizza place near Marchese to open, I decided to kill time by ordering a pizza Margherita. There's a small wall nearby, where I sat down and sampled the Naples. The pizza was okay, very okay. The sauce was a bit strong and concentrated, the dough was light and delicate, and the cheese was good quality. The price was great at €4.90. I wouldn't recommend the arancini, though. They were overly oily, and despite the good rice, cooked perfectly and seasoned well, I found them inedible because the grease dripped down my hands. Getting back to the pizza, despite the lack of certification, It's worth going in for a casual meal and devouring a really good margherita.

There are lesser-quality pizzas, enhanced by different ingredients, and innovation even in the location. Standing still and not innovating is sometimes a limitation.

08/03/2026: A pleasant surprise, this pizzeria restaurant in my hometown. I'd never been there before. The dining room is spacious and quiet. It appears tidy and clean. Overall, we ate well, and the portions were generous. However, the porcini mushroom flan made with sliced ​​bread was unpalatable. I recommend not using sliced ​​bread for the crust. The meat was good, as were the side dishes and the pizza. I didn't particularly like the dessert, a cischake, but that's just a matter of personal preference. Prices are average. I'll definitely be back.
