25/11/2024: We intended to eat dishes based on truffles and mushrooms but due to a probable misunderstanding (certainly our fault, too distracted) we took the tasting menu which initially didn't make us think badly because in a tasting menu there should be strong dishes, but then it didn't satisfy us and the most disappointing thing was the fettuccine with truffle! Negative note at most? the service of a waiter exhausted from the beginning and who also argued on 2 occasions for no reason ! Dionysus' son was very kind and courteous and having understood, he took charge of our table and treated us (as it should be) as welcome guests! Very nice environment without pretensions but with a cheerful taste and in harmony with the owners! If we ever return, we will be more careful about what we order....

12/11/2024: An exceptional apperitive experience! Every dish was perfectly crafted, with fresh ingredients and flawless flavor pairings. The flambéed sausage and truffle pasta stood out as a favorite, but honestly, every plate was great. The wine selections complemented the meals wonderfully. Highly recommended!

30/10/2023: A mezz'ora dalle più blasonate Sorrento e Positano, dopo aver ammirato Capri dall'alto, ci si siede per una esperienza indimenticabile. Qualità della materia prima, menù e servizio sono da premiare. La cucina a vista e l'accoglienza ti fanno sentire a casa. Prezzo in linea, sarà tappa fissa quando ritornerò da quelle parti.

19/12/2024: Personally I didn't like it. The first time I set foot in that place. Bland appetizers. Let's not talk about pizza. Cheap second courses of meat, yet the prices are medium-high and could offer quality.

18/11/2024: We stopped in while staying in Paternopoli and really enjoyed eating here. We all ate pizza, which was tasty, fresh, well made, and very affordable. We're glad we ate here and would gladly return.

08/09/2024: Very nice and clean place with both internal and external rooms, very kind and helpful staff to our thousand requests, excellent food and moderate prices, truly excellent gluten-free Panuozzo, crunchy dough and top quality ingredients, recommended for both celiacs and non-celiacs , we will definitely return, this time to enjoy a nice pizza.

18/11/2024: I hadn't been to this place for a long time and I have to say that everything was perfect. Pizza different from the usual ones (thin but not too much), really good paella, quality beers. All accompanied by a friendly and helpful room manager. What to add, we will see each other more often and I thank chef Luigi for bringing us back here. Good luck 💪

20/10/2024: You wouldn't give him a euro but, listen to me... come in and you won't regret it. It's a bit homely, simple but... I ate not well, very well! all very good and decently cooked... recommended. Stop to eat, it's a good place!

29/12/2024: This is not a review of Il Fornillo's food, which we unfortunately did not get to try, but their customer service and attention to detail. We made a reservation for dinner on their site in December and received an automated confirmation. We walked about a half mile up and down a lot of stairs to get there from our hotel. When we arrived at the restaurant at our reservation time, Il Fornillo was closed. Net, even if you do make a reservation, I recommend calling to confirm that the restaurant is open since accept reservations for times at which they're closed.

10/01/2025: On the advice of friends we wanted to visit this place and it was truly a pleasant discovery. the room is clean and elegant, the staff very helpful and kind, all this is the perfect setting for the pizzas and fried foods which are truly works of art. We will return with great pleasure.
