15/09/2025: Excellent croquettes and what can I say about the fantastic little devils.

11/09/2025: People who leave very positive reviews evidently haven't had the chance to appreciate the founders' management. The flavor of the crocchettone of the past (you could have eaten 3 or 4 on your own and they'd leave you with a memory that made you anxiously await the next opportunity), at least for what happened to us, hasn't been reflected in the dishes at all. The ones we've eaten recently (we haven't been there in about 4 years) are a bland copy of the previous ones, a "base" that needs to be heavily stuffed to contain the flavor, and the breading, once deliciously chunky, crunchy, and rustic, is now just a veil of fine grains. It may have been a coincidence, but the "pure" ones we ordered didn't even have mozzarella inside. What can I say? We just got it on one night, didn't we? However, hearing the opinions of acquaintances on the matter, I find it hard to believe.

The decor is modern and thoughtfully designed, with subtle lighting that creates a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The staff is always friendly and helpful, ready to accommodate every request. But the real star is the pizza, exceptional in every version, with a wide selection of flavors ranging from classics to more unique and innovative options, capable of surprising even the most discerning palates. The location, just steps from the Arch of Trajan, is a beautiful one.

09/10/2025: The food was average, nothing exceptional. Unfortunately, the service was terrible, with an absolutely unjustified wait given the small number of tables. There was also an additional wait to pay the bill because the staff couldn't issue an invoice or check the customer's details. ABSURD!

20/09/2025: Highly recommended!!! You wouldn't know it from the outside, but luckily, after seeing the photos and reviews, I booked. Thanks to everyone who wrote a review about their experience. I chose it by chance, but I'm proud of it. We ate some local products that he recommended.

06/10/2025: I met them this summer at the Steak Festival. Today, a friend who's lived in London for years came over, and we went. It's a lovely, quiet place. The staff is friendly and makes you feel at home. As for the steak, it's sublime: my friend had the classic one, and I dared to try the Genovese, which was simply fantastic! An explosion of flavor! I hope I don't have to wait for my friend to return!

21/09/2025: The Sunrise in Bacoli is conveniently located, with reasonably accessible nearby parking despite being in a restricted-traffic zone—a significant detail in a frequently busy area. Overall, the venue has its charm: modern, bright, and spacious. At the same time, however, this very spaciousness makes it a bit dispersive, almost impersonal, and at peak times the noise and confusion risk overpowering the experience. As for cleanliness, there's nothing to complain about: both the general atmosphere and the restrooms are well-maintained and tidy, a definite plus. The staff, however, leaves a mixed impression: numerous, but often appearing like an army of "crazy mice," frantically moving between the tables looking tired and sweaty. A more organized and calm management team could greatly improve the welcome and efficiency of the service. Another slightly annoying point: the air conditioning is kept way too high, and together with the constant chatter and background noise, it contributes to an unrelaxing atmosphere. Speaking of food, compared to a few years ago, the perceived quality seems to have declined. The sandwiches, once a highlight, are now less refined, though still decent and enjoyable. They no longer have the "wow" factor of the past, but maintain a dignified honesty. In short, Sunrise remains a local landmark, with strengths such as its location, cleanliness, and a food offering that still holds up, albeit with some weaknesses. However, amidst the chaos, disoriented staff, and declining quality, it leaves those who knew it in its heyday a bit nostalgic.

24/09/2025: Everything was delicious. I ordered the fritte, which I'd never eaten before, and it was perfect. My girlfriend ordered the Margherita, which was also delicious. The dough was perfectly crispy and the ingredients were well-chosen. I highly recommend it.

11/09/2025: It's hard to find a better pizza in Battipaglia. Light dough, superb ingredients, courteous and helpful staff, excellent draft beer (and that's no given). And, crucially, they respect the Battipaglia pizza tradition, which is soft and shallow. So, here you won't find air-infused crusts, "gummy" dough, or chewy, bubblegum-like textures, which are now popular everywhere, even in our country, where we imitate the pseudo-Neapolitan pizza.

05/10/2025: Cracking little place to stop for a pizza and an aperol. Reasonably priced and the food was really tasty, you can’t go wrong with the classics!

01/10/2025: I've been to this pizzeria and I was really impressed! 🍕 The pizza is excellent, with fresh ingredients, light but tasty. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, making you feel at ease right away. Plus, the service is fast and efficient, perfect for enjoying an evening without waiting. Highly recommended!

08/09/2025: We found a table on a Saturday evening around 10:15 PM, with no reservation required. Friendly service staff. Reasonable prices (€35 for two people, two pizzas, two croquettes, and a 75cl craft beer). The Margherita pizza was excellent. The croquettes could be improved.

14/10/2025: Welcoming pizzeria, friendly staff. I tried the pizza in a "ruoto" and I have to say I really liked it. I tried it twice in a row and it didn't disappoint. The fried foods are also very good. I'll definitely be back 😊

11/10/2025: Amazing pizza, truly excellent, and the price was right. Great experience, coffee included. The only shame was the slightly long wait, probably due to some mix-up, as it wasn't the same for the other tables.

13/09/2025: The restaurant is typically Italian and beautiful in the front, but the back is more like a campsite restaurant. The waiter, a bit edgy (presumably the owner), is the same as he was 7 years ago. The food is delicious. The prices are reasonable. I had pasta Bolognese, and my wife had stuffed ravioli and a zucchini blossom as a starter. We will be back. Tip: Make a reservation in advance!
