27/10/2025: I ate here with my family and they charged 5€ more than what was shown in the menu. When we confronted them about it, they just said that they "mistakenly" gave us the menu from last year??? So charging us 200€ for 5 pizzas, a small glass of wine and 3 Cokes was justified I guess??? Don't eat here, it's wayyy too overpriced and they try to scam you!

02/12/2025: Excellent sandwiches, good beers, and a nice place. Friendly and helpful staff, I recommend it.

07/10/2025: Great little bar with garden seating at rear. Staff were very friendly and patient. Really enjoyed Patatina Exlosion Chips, this was chips with sausage, cheese and pulled pork Do try the lovely Gosling rum. Great find

04/11/2025: Near the main street of Sorrento, La Fenice is a historic restaurant where they also make good pizza, including gluten-free and family-style versions... nice place... welcoming staff... fast and punctual service.

03/11/2025: I had the spaghetti bolonese and felt at home with my Nona. My dinner was just like my childhood dinners. Perfect pasta, generous sauce and great flavor. I had the house red wine, it was pleasing. Service was good , pricing was fair and it was a full portion. I plan to return, as I will be in Sorrento all week.

08/12/2025: We frequent this restaurant/pizzeria often and have a great time. The place is beautiful, with a great view, the service is good, and the food is very, very good. The pizza is excellent, as is everything else. Highly recommended!

05/12/2025: An enchanting place. Located in a stone building from the last century, Cascina offers a wide range of dishes... from the lightest pizza to beautifully cooked meats, from tasty appetizers to mouthwatering first courses. I haven't tried the desserts, but considering the rest of the food, they must be delicious. The coffee is excellent... no small feat in a restaurant.

30/10/2025: We went to the restaurant Salvatore. It was fantastic! The average tourist not accustomed to excellent food should not come here. It would be wasted on them. All others please come.

29/10/2025: The service is unfriendly. Food average. Menu varieties not plenty. Price normal. Annoyingly, the limoncellos served after diner usually served gratis in all restaurants we have visited, were asked to be paid. Very unfriendly.

24/10/2025: Ettore a Santa Lucia is one of those pizzerias in Naples that offers you the pleasure of tasting the classic Neapolitan pizza. It's leavened just right, so it doesn't turn into something soft and watery that becomes inedible. Ingredients like flour, water, tomato, and mozzarella, perfectly assembled by hand, give you, when the pizza arrives at the table, the pleasure and taste of biting into it, devouring it voraciously, appreciating its deliciousness. The cuoppo is also delicious, a dish composed of a mix of fried foods made of pure deliciousness. I always return to Ettore's when I pass through Naples.

23/10/2025: It was a small, warm, and welcoming place, even if it was crowded. Now I'm back with that memory in mind and was disappointed to find it shabby, empty, and a little run-down. The staff remains courteous and the food is of acceptable quality...but food isn't everything!

28/09/2025: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 "Extraordinary Simplicity Always Wins!" It's been years since I've been coming here, and the quality has never changed: the pizza is simply extraordinary. It's proof that you don't need complex ingredients to make a difference. It's authentic, light, and has that unmistakable traditional flavor. The finishing touch, of course, is the impeccable cooking in the wood-fired oven, which always gives it an unbeatable fragrance and crispiness. An absolute must-try for lovers of authentic pizza. Coming back here is always a guarantee!

16/11/2025: WHAT a discovery!! Just off the main pedestrian street in the town centre, from outside the place looks very small whereas they have a large side area so plenty of room. We went for lunch on a Sunday and we will visit again for sure!. Nello himself does the greetings (he is from Naples so the food is also Naples based) and is a very charming host, then a very happy lady came and took our order. We ordered food and drink and despite the number of customers the food arrived quite quickly. We both chose the "Genovese" pasta which is pasta in a special meat sauce and was totally delicious, plus a side plate of broccoli. Together with a carafe of the house red wine (which was also good) we spent a princely 23 Euro per head, EXCELLENT value for money for sure.

09/11/2025: We found ourselves in the alleys of Castellabate by chance and noticed this restaurant... the lady's welcome makes you feel right at home, and Mr. Nello's sweetness is the best. We ordered stuffed zucchini flowers and stuffed anchovies, oh so delicious. Spaghetti with clams and pasta and seafood beans were incredibly delicious, with fresh, quality ingredients; we had to mop up the sauce with the bread. I truly recommend it; everything was delicious.

13/10/2025: I spent an evening with friends last Saturday. I enjoyed the pizza options with three different doughs and cooking methods—they were delicious. The staff went out of their way to make our dining experience memorable. They were attentive without being intrusive. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations. We felt welcomed. The service was impeccable. The pizzas arrived promptly.

03/10/2025: A great find last night!!! Quiet location, excellent food, and Riccardo, the owner, is a wonderful person. I highly recommend it...the quality appetizers and the truly delicious pizza. The value for money is among the best in the area.

20/11/2025: A very basic and unpretentious place. The pizza, made to order, is overall decent for street food. But in a place like this, you can't pay €3 for a domestic beer.

06/11/2025: Everything was good, even the option to fill the panozzo with two types of flavors. Reservations can be made on site with an electronic number, I don't know if they accept telephone reservations. I will definitely be back because the panozzo with porchetta was "fantastic" 👍🏻

07/12/2025: I've eaten at this restaurant several times, so it's time to say a few words. You always return to places where you've had a good experience... A well-equipped restaurant with excellent quality products. Table service is efficient and fast; they never neglect the customer. I had the pleasure of exchanging a few words with two waiters, Nunzio and Giuseppe, who immediately made me feel anything but a customer. I felt at home. They paid attention to every course and all our needs, whether it was a simple bread roll or one less drink on the table. In short, they were attentive to everything, knowledgeable, and helpful. We've always eaten fish dishes so far, but we'll be back for the meat menu and the pizza. I highly recommend this restaurant. Considering that all this was described after a Saturday night when they served about 200 people, I imagine that during the week, when the place is less crowded, the service and hospitality will be amazing.

08/12/2025: This place makes you feel right at home. The service is excellent, and the food seems to be made by a world-class chef. Vincenzo, the young guy, is the best in terms of service. Needless to say, this is a unique and special place. Simply put, perfect.

07/12/2025: A very good place to eat, right outside the palace. The staff were very friendly from the moment we arrived, especially with my grandmother. The pizza was also delicious, and we highly recommend trying the white wine. We appreciated their explanations in our language and hope to return soon.

18/11/2025: We went to Mo Veng' and had a wonderful meal! We started with potato croquettes filled with mortadella and pistachio: spectacular, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The potato sticks were also excellent, fresh and fried to order. For our main course, we had their pizza in pala, soft, light, and very digestible, available in two flavors: • Polpettosa, rich and flavorful, with meatballs in ragù and quality dairy products. • Ficus, a truly incredible sweet and savory combination, with refined and well-balanced ingredients. You can taste the care taken in selecting the ingredients and the attention to preparation. Excellent fried food, excellent pizza. Very kind, welcoming, and professional staff. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back.

24/10/2025: Excellent pizza... top ingredients and divine pizza!!! Light, melt-in-the-mouth dough and truly exquisite ingredients! It's worth the extra wait because it's worth it! Even though we're a bit far away, we'll always be happy to return!

08/11/2025: Excellent food served with grace in an atmosphere that could be improved. All the dishes, from the first course with sausage and chestnut sauce to the cod on a cream of chickpeas with sausage, caciocavallo cheese, and truffle, were excellent. The house wine was good, and the roasted chestnuts were excellent. The price for two was fair, €49. Highly recommended.
