27/08/2025: Amazing lunch! Very good dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. We were welcomed without any problem even though it was 2:30 PM. Giuseppe served us and explained each dish with passion and professionalism.

24/08/2025: It was supposed to be a quick lunch before continuing the journey home, but instead it turned out to be a long and delightful stop! Giuseppe is truly a host like no other; his passion for his work and for food captivates and overwhelms you! Always smiling, professional, and attentive to his customers' needs. He's keen to let them know that his dishes are 0 km, or rather... 0 km, which you can taste in every bite! The appetizers are varied and incredibly generous. The first courses are a delight, thanks to his mother's skilled and expert hands and the goodness of the produce from their garden. The desserts are also top-notch; we had a tart with orange marmalade and chocolate, a true delight! By the end of the meal, we were talking like old friends; we felt like we were at a friend's house—a truly wonderful culinary and human experience. Thank you, Giuseppe. See you soon. 07/09/2025: This restaurant is a hidden gem in Sorrento - we loved it so much we went twice during our 5 night trip. The food is absolutely delicious, all made with locally sourced and home made ingredients by the family who run the business - make sure to try their olive oil especially! On top of the amazing food, the wine list is extensive and delicious, too. Finished off with friendly and attentive service, you couldn’t ask for more!

05/09/2025: Service was impeccable. We there for dinner and we ordered a plate of mussels, sea bass and their signature gnocchi la Sorrento. The gnocchi was al dente and the accompanying sauce of yellow chilli pepper was very nice … we had to finish it with the bread. The wine recommended with the dish was paired brilliantly.

A wonderful and characteristic place right in the center of Sorrento, where you can savor traditional dishes (superlative gnocchi) and the charming atmosphere of the peninsula, further enhanced by a jovial guitarist playing among the tables. Not to mention the service and the waiters, all super kind, smiling, and helpful. My stroller, which we had folded in a corner, slipped on the floor, and the waiter noticed it and took care to put it away next to a chair. A pleasant experience and good food.

19/08/2025: La Lanterna is a gem amongst the lovely little back streets of Sorrento. We ate here two out of four nights and wished we found it earlier in the holiday. The pizzas, pasta carbonara and seafood platter were delicious. The service was excellent, all staff were so friendly and the live entertainment was superb!

05/09/2025: Beautiful place that offers an extraordinary culinary experience. Luigi is a fantastic person. They teach you from A to Z how to make pizza and ravioli. The whole thing ends with you eating what you've created. I highly recommend this experience. If you haven't tried it here, where else can you try it?

29/08/2025: Excellent restaurant with a breathtaking view. The road to get there is winding, but the journey is worth it. Excellent food, fast service, courteous waiters, and nothing to complain about. They even offered us limoncello (very good) and sfogliatelle!

01/08/2025: Tonight we went to Casa Esposito for a delicious, light fried pizza. We were welcomed like family. The place is beautiful and cool despite the hot, muggy summer. I had a great time and will definitely be back soon. Highly recommend it!!

01/09/2025: Best value for money you can possibly get in Amalfi coast if you’re looking where to stay. Special mention to Giuseppe & the full staff for their warm attention and their restaurant, which brings the opposite to typical tourist traps you will find nearby. Carpaccio, pasta and pizza very recommended!! Also the location is in the perfect spot for visiting Positano daily but also to continue to Amalfi and rest of places. 100% recommended to stay and eat!
