07/09/2025: The pizza was good, and the terrace was beautiful for outdoor dining. The staff was friendly and attentive to customer requests. My only complaint was that the place was packed, so service wasn't the fastest, but that's okay. It was understandable and didn't cause any inconvenience. They're great, and I highly recommend them.

23/01/2025: A quiet, welcoming, and family-friendly restaurant-pizzeria where I dined à la carte once and tried the pizza a second time. I had a great time; the food was to my liking, the prices more than reasonable, the meat good, and the pizza thin and crispy, just the way I like it. Service was quick. The waiter and cashier were friendly and helpful. Recommended.

Mi sono trovata bene, il cibo è stato di mio gradimento, i prezzi più che ragionevoli, la carne buona e la pizza bassa e croccante come piace a me. Servizio rapido. 02/01/2026: Flavorless pizza, with poorly blended ingredients. Frozen fake tiramisu that tasted like spoiled semifreddo. A waiter topped the pizzas while delivering the dishes, and another waiter forgot to serve the requested dishes until the bill was due. Shameful.

25/01/2026: I can't rate it as a restaurant, but the pizza was truly awful. We had a table of seven, seven pizzas that needed a chainsaw to cut, and they were incredibly tough. And then the annoying thing was that frying smoke was coming from the kitchen and filling the dining room. Perhaps the kitchen exhaust system needs to be improved. We had to take our jackets to the dry cleaners; I've never had anything like that happen in all the restaurants I've been to.

29/08/2025: Great experience at Franco’s Pizzeria — definitely one of the best pizza spots in Cosenza if you’re travelling from the North. We shared a maxi pizza for 5 people: perfectly crunchy base, with half topped with cherry tomatoes, prosciutto and rocket, and the other half with broccoli and sausage. The owner told us the dough rests for 48 hours, which explains the amazing texture and flavour. Roberto and his wife were very friendly, sharing not only details about the food but also great travel tips. A fantastic stop if you’re heading south towards Reggio Calabria — highly recommended!

14/02/2026: A family-run restaurant that welcomes you warmly and always offers a small fritter while you wait for your order. Very low prices, but high-quality products. Since 2026, the menu has had new specialty pizzas that I highly recommend trying. I've dined here about 20 times, and each time, the positive story repeats itself...

19/01/2026: Emilio, the owner, was immediately available and friendly as soon as he saw us come in. He let us choose a table, and we took advantage of the opportunity to get one for six, but there were only two of us; it wasn't as crowded as the last time we came, so we were comfortable. Valentina, smiling and attentive, immediately offered us a taste of the IMPACCHIUSE potatoes, a local specialty. If I have to point out a flaw, I can only complain about the speed of service. I had a lamb tagliata on a red-hot griddle, which I had already had the first time; I remembered it as fantastic, and it once again confirmed Vernante's unique 450-day tradition of goodness. My other half had a Margherita with porcini mushrooms, exceptional; for us Neapolitans, it was a real surprise. They were great, friendly, and very fast. Our favorite place in Rende. In the summer, being outside will be even more pleasant. I forgot, they also offered us a Nutella donut 😋😋😋😋😋 at the end. I forgot to bring a portion of zucchini flower fritters upon arrival, just to please 💯 Cristiano

07/01/2026: On December 27, 2025, we booked a table for nine people at 8:00 PM. We wanted to try a "good" pizza for friends who had never been there, confident we wouldn't disappoint them, given our previous positive experience. We arrived at 8:00 PM sharp and ordered after a few minutes, but the pizzas didn't arrive until 10:00 PM. The worst part was that the order of arrival wasn't respected: we repeatedly saw tables occupied after ours served with the same type of order (pizza). This made the wait even more incomprehensible and frustrating. We repeatedly asked for explanations, but never received a concrete answer: we were simply reassured every half hour by the statement that "we were next." A huge disappointment. The quality of the pizza is good and the staff is quite friendly, but such poor service, with unacceptable wait times and no respect for the order of arrival, inevitably means we won't choose this place again. A real shame!

During our visits, we often choose the platter, which offers generous portions for two. The pizza is also excellent. Prices are good value. On busy evenings, reservations are recommended.

10/10/2025: Good pizza....the service leaves a lot to be desired....after ordering with Just Eat two hours pass I call the pizzeria and they tell me to wait another hour because the lady doesn't know how to use the App 😒
