06/09/2025: We went for dinner on a recommendation and went back two days later to get takeout. The service was excellent, the staff very polite and friendly. We also had a second taste of their local amaro, Ferrochina del Moro, and brought two bottles back to Spain. Overall, the best pizzeria in Castrovillari right now.

14/06/2025: Ho avuto modo di lavorare in questa pizzeria per un periodo e, con la massima sincerità e nel rispetto di tutti, sento di poter condividere la mia esperienza. Dal punto di vista della qualità del prodotto, purtroppo devo dire che la pizza spesso risultava poco cotta, e nel complesso non raggiungeva gli standard che ci si aspetterebbe da un locale del genere. Per quanto riguarda l’ambiente di lavoro, mi dispiace constatare che non è stato sereno. Ho trovato alcune persone poco collaborative e, in certi casi, addirittura maleducate e aggressive, il che ha reso il clima molto pesante. Ci tengo però a sottolineare che i due cuochi rappresentano una piacevole eccezione: professionali, educati e sempre disponibili. Nonostante tutto, considero anche questa esperienza come una lezione importante. Personalmente, non vedevo l’ora di voltare pagina e oggi sono felice di averlo fatto.

12/09/2025: We went for dinner two nights in a row. The first night, we ordered two pizzas. The second night, we ordered a plate of seafood pasta, which was good, and a plate of tagliatelle with mushrooms, which I wasn't happy with because, upon eating it, I immediately realized it was frozen food from the "quattro salti in padella" brand. If this is the treatment, I don't think we'll be back.

07/08/2025: Although the food was good, the owner and staff were an absolute disaster. I ordered a meal and one drink – a 1-liter bottle of cola. The waiter brought a smaller one, so I pointed it out, and he exchanged it for the one I had ordered. But when it came time to pay, I discovered that the bill was too high. I went to the staff to ask them to correct the mistake, but no one spoke English. I tried to communicate using a translator on my phone, but the owner completely ignored it. He said the cola had been ordered and opened (by the waiter), so I had to pay for it. I tried to explain that it wasn’t fair, but he didn’t listen to me at all. In the end, he rudely told me that since I was in Italy, I should speak Italian, not English. In my opinion, this was totally inappropriate, and the owner was very aggressive – he made rude gestures and spoke to us in a disrespectful way. One thing is certain – I will never go back there again

09/08/2025: Unpretentious, mediocre street-front location, poorly maintained, food from a menu with per-course prices typical of a respectable restaurant. Unfortunately, what we ate didn't reflect its value at all. Nothing fresh was present, and the products were defrosted, as stated on the menu, lacking flavor or culinary expertise. A steep bill for bland dishes.

29/08/2025: We visited this restaurant this evening. The food was excellent, quite substantial, and the service was excellent. The staff was very professional and friendly, and attentive to customer needs. Excellent restaurant, I highly recommend this place. One of the best. Great prices. We'll be back soon ☺️.

30/08/2025: The staff was completely absent. There was no one at the register, and we had to wait 20 minutes for two covers at an empty table. The covers never arrived. We left with two takeaway arancini because no one was setting the table. There was no service at the register either.

12/10/2025: A truly unpleasant experience. Orders aren't served in the order they arrive; everything is done "by feel," resulting in you being served after many other tables that arrived up to a half hour later, even though you arrived first. Dissatisfaction is widespread. A table of young people next to us left after waiting over an hour and a half for their food. Another table had their orders wrong, and instead of apologizing, the waiter continued to rant about them... the mussels were very good, as usual, but the rest of the dishes were far below expectations. Compared to a few years ago, I absolutely no longer recommend this place. The next door place, "I due fratelli," is much, much better; both the service and the food are significantly superior.

16/08/2025: A fully equipped hotel with a sea view, pool, and entertainment, and the entire hotel staff were fantastic. The food was excellent, but sometimes the dishes were a bit salty and some local specialties, which, although good, weren't quite authentic (like the carbonara with cream), aren't their forte. Breakfast was excellent, with tarts and ring cakes, but the croissants were limited because they were only plain and not particularly crumbly. Overall, however, it's a hotel worth a vacation.

12/08/2025: I really liked the spa. Large hydromassage pool, salt room, infrared shower and two steam rooms - hamam and dry. The administrator was 20 minutes late, did not warn us that it would be later, this should be taken into account if you are pressed for time. The hotel itself is very presentable, with a large pool and a huge banquet hall.

21/09/2025: Extremely rude service, I think one of the rudest services I've ever experienced. The few times I've ordered from Master Pizza, the pizza has arrived at least half an hour late. I also asked for a Red Bull and specified IF THEY HAD ANY, and the lady who answered the phone said, "HEY? Look, we'll give you a free drink." Not even "Sorry, we don't have any." I don't think I'll ever order from here again, just because of the acidity they left in me.
