02/09/2025: As a child, I used to come to this delightful restaurant much more often with my parents, when I still lived in Pescara. Thirty years have passed, and I've returned a few times during the holidays, always finding it as good as it was back then. The family-run restaurant remains the same, and everything is made with love and passion. Many typical Abruzzo dishes are available, almost all the main ones, such as sagne with chickpeas or beans, pasta alla chitarra, anellini alla pecorara, excellent lamb, and other more niche but always popular specialties, such as liver sausages and roast cod with peppers. Of course, there are always the arrosticini, truly delicious, both handmade and classic, served in a characteristic terracotta jug with greasy bread. Exclusive to the restaurant and improved over the years, the Spizzico appetizer offers a seemingly endless array of traditional Abruzzo dishes. The atmosphere is very welcoming and comfortable, and in the winter, a lovely fireplace is lit, adding to the atmosphere. It goes without saying that this restaurant is very popular, so reservations are always recommended. Ample private parking is also available.

30/09/2025: Last night, Sunday the 28th, I went for pizza and it was very good. Working in the restaurant business, I immediately noticed the pizza chef, who managed everything by himself: rolling out the pizza, topping it, putting it in the oven, taking it out of the oven, sorting out the boxes for orders, and topping the pizzas as they came out. Usually, at a pizzeria on a Sunday night, you need at least two people to do this job and ensure speed. He, however, did it all alone, with order and efficiency. The pizzas were well-seasoned and generously topped, unlike the ones you see around, where they put very little on top. The price is affordable and within everyone's reach. The mini pizzas were also excellent: well-cooked, flaky, and tasty, truly high-quality. There are many renowned ones out there, but they don't reach this level. Recommended pizzeria. Rating 5. As for the guys making the mini pizzas, I can't comment because they weren't there.

17/09/2025: Be very careful when you’re ordering off of their menu because we just had calamari and it shows as one dish but they charge us for two people $50 for one dish. Went back to discuss with the manager as to the charge of the dish and he says it was because there were two people, but the dish is actually only described for one person off of their menu. Just another way of taking more money from you and not being honest. Won’t be going back!

10/09/2025: Non-Neapolitan pizza, thin crust and loaded with toppings, with an unlimited selection. It doesn't get any better than this, and a special mention goes to Daniele, who makes exquisite pizzas.

17/07/2025: Hello, this is the third time we've ordered pizza. I've honestly never had such a good pizza. The ingredients are plentiful, the pizza is perfect, the girl on the phone is very kind, and the delivery drivers are also polite and friendly. The pizza arrives hot and on time. The prices are FAIR. This pizzeria is a 10 overall, and I recommend it to everyone...the whole wheat pizza is sublime, the attention to ingredients is meticulous, and the flavor is very delicate. 😋 Thank you all.

05/10/2025: Yesterday, while I was eating, a truly ridiculous scene occurred. The person I think was the owner started yelling and swearing at the top of his voice, amidst a crowd of people. Furthermore, the food wasn't anything special, and the wait was incredibly long.

06/10/2025: We went to eat on Saturday night (October 4, 2025) during the second shift. A friend of mine commented describing our terrible situation. We were mocked both in the comments and at the restaurant. If the employer or owner has to behave like this, it's better for them to close because they can't provide a service. AND I'M NOT CRITICIZING THE STAFF, ALWAYS VERY KIND AND COMPETENT. But it's definitely the flaws of unhealthy and obsolete management. If you have to insult us when we point out certain discrepancies in a comment... you're not exposing yourself by opening a restaurant. Comments are useful for growth because you never stop learning. And honestly, you have to have the humility to accept criticism and move forward stronger than before, knowing you're offering an ever-improving service. Also because there are so many pizzerias, and the competition is terrible. I'll definitely never return after these events. Because you have to have the decency to take a step back. Because no matter what, when you offer a service; Manage your own and your customers' money. And I know it's difficult these days, but you can't make mistakes, give change, and do random calculations. We don't tolerate such responses to customers who point out that the bill is incorrect, and especially the change is out of line with the actual amount owed. First, he entered 240, we pointed it out, and he countered with 215... and 215 divided by 8... he was charging us 30 euros each, but in actual fact it should have been 27 per person. When we pointed out this problem, the annoyed guy redid the calculation... saying that, yes, we were right, and therefore he would give us 10 euros back as if it were a gift. First of all, he should have given us 15 euros back, and secondly, it's definitely not idyllic or fair behavior towards customers. And anyway, we recalculated the menu... and the bill we should have had was even less... Honestly, be careful where you go... The only good thing about that evening was the promotional beer.

30/08/2025: My pizza arrived and it looked like focaccia after telling them, not even 1 minute later one arrived worse than the first, reheated and raw, I will never go back there again, absolutely to forget not to mention the service!

24/09/2025: As soon as you sit down, a guy comes over and explains how the place works and how to order, and as far as service is concerned, it starts and ends here, and for us boomers, everything becomes very simple😁 Once you've placed your order, your name will be "croaked" over the loudspeaker twice, the first time to pay and go get a drink, then you go get your cutlery and the second time the food ordered will be croaked. We ate 2 pizzas. From the menu, you choose the one you want and then you can add whatever you want (scrolling through the endless list of ingredients to add). The pizza is cooked in an electric oven, not exceptional (I've eaten worse for more money). The place is suitable for younger people, very noisy, very little space between tables (and since everyone has to get up to get anything, it's a constant rubbing against someone).

13/09/2025: TO BE ABSOLUTELY AVOIDED A 45-minute wait for a pizza. Noisy, no service, not very good!! You're forgotten, and too bad for you. No one eats at the same time. Conclusion: TO BE AVOIDED

27/09/2025: Excellent pizza and excellent fries, better than many other pizzerias/restaurants. Impeccable service. Just a little bit of chaos in the restaurant due to the large crowd and noisy children, but nothing serious.

12/09/2025: We ate quite well in a very nice environment, the only flaw was the young waiter, who was not very empathetic.

08/09/2025: Excellent fresh fish, both as an appetizer, first course, and second course! September time! The staff was helpful and efficient! My sagne e ceci con i frutti di mare (sandwich and chickpeas with seafood), nothing short of fantastic, light fried food, so the oil was changed often, the roast was rather oven-baked au gratin, not really roasted, but still excellent, a good wine cellar, very simple and convivial atmosphere, coffee and amaro offered, very affordable price, 2 set menus with: choice of first course and then as a second course, one with roast and one with fried food, side salad, 2 appetizers... 75 euros! Practically nothing! I'll definitely be back! 😉😉😉😉
