27/10/2025: Very kind and knowledgeable staff. I tried the tasting menu for €70 per person. The dishes were very good, and the fresh bread, of various types, was excellent.
05/10/2025: A few days ago I went to Santa Maria Maggiore, Vigezzo Valley, and ate at this restaurant.
Beautiful, clean, and simple.
Efficient and helpful staff.
Interesting and varied à la carte menu, good wine list, both local and international.
Personally, I ate very well and will definitely return.
I highly recommend it!

31/10/2025: We stopped for lunch on the way to Locarno. This restaurant is highly recommended for anyone stopping in Santa Maria. I had a freshly cooked fillet steak on a stone heated in a wood-fired oven, with a side of polenta and porcini mushrooms. Everything was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly!

11/10/2025: I asked for a menu and was told it was pointless since they weren't serving food at this hour (2:30). I asked if they had anything sweet... Not even that! Then they brought menus and pasticciotti to the five people next to us... Oh well!!!!
Leaving aside the lack of politeness from the people sitting next to us... that's another story!

10/11/2025: A recommended stop for the foliage train, located in the center of the beautiful Santa Maria Maggiore, it's an unpretentious place, with a selection of top-quality cured meats and cheeses!
07/11/2025: Excellent bar in the city center. Informal but with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Spritz accompanied by a generous plate. We didn't add an excellent cheese and cold cuts platter.
Quick and helpful staff.
Very fair prices.

18/10/2025: Tonight my husband and I ordered two appetizers, which arrived after 50 minutes and were cold. We asked for bread, and they told us they didn't have any, but there were some breadsticks left. So we had a focaccia made because we didn't have any. In theory, if you run out of bread, you should give me the option of eating something similar, like focaccia. In fact, it arrived, but I had to pay for it. Finally, we ordered two pumpkin risottos with crispy bacon, but the bacon wasn't there, and the rice was overcooked. We couldn't eat it, and we paid €44 for the whole thing. We won't be setting foot in there again.
18/10/2025: Pizzeria restaurant in the historic center of Santa Maria Maggiore. Nice and clean place. The food leaves a lot to be desired. Very mediocre. The service is embarrassing, to say the least. Out of four orders, they got two wrong.

21/08/2025: We have three children, two of which have ASD/ADHD - To be able to eat in a cafe in the middle of a play area where we don't have to worry about them is ideal for our family. Lovely pizza / wine / aperitivo. Great friendly service, clean toilets. Thank you!

02/05/2025: Ci siamo recati in questo posto il 1 maggio 2025 , abbiamo visionato il menu e in tre di noi abbiamo deciso di prendere la pizza , , mia figlia ha preso la polenta e solo lei ha mangiato qualcosa di decente , per quanto riguarda la pizza lasciamo perdere , chiamarla pizza e' proprio un insulto alla pizza , questi non sanno neanche che cos' e' una pizza se dovessi tornare a Santa Maria Maggiore non mettero' piu piede in quel locale , lo sconsiglio vivamente

31/10/2024: Scelta seguendo le recensioni scritte in precedenza da altri utenti, noi confermiamo la semplicità e la genuinità del posto, compresi i proprietari/gestori.
Una sola proposta e solo a pranzo: salumi misti con giardiniera, polenta con carne o con formaggio, eventualmente su richiesta assaggio del formaggio fatto da loro con la composta di mele cotogne, fetta di torta pan e lac e la fiacia, caffè e acqua, 27,00 euro a persona con amaro offerto e molto buono ed efficace.
23/09/2024: Il ristoro è immerso nel verde e c’è un piccolo maneggio, il ristorante in se non è molto bello però all’interno si respira aria famigliare e allegra, ottimi i salumi, “la bresaola è spaziale, “ polenta formaggi grigliata e così via tutto decisamente buono.
Per chi non guarda troppo l’etichetta ma adora il buon cibo lo consiglio.

Il prosciutto e melone veramente buono, la trota buona.

31/08/2024: Oggi a pranzo mi sono fermata con la mia famiglia a pranzare in visita per la sfilata degli spazza camini.
Semplicemente non ci tornerò MAI più, abbiamo pagato tanto per una quantità e qualità scarsa degli alimenti. Non avevano seggioloni per i miei bambini, ma ho cmq pagato 1.5euro di coperto a bambino nonostante gli ho dato da mangiare tenendomeli in braccio
Insomma un disastro.

30/04/2025: Ci vado spesso perché vicino a dove ho la casa, da poco ha cambiato gestione e devo dire che non è male, ho provato tutto, colazione, aperitivi, pranzo e cena, tutto molto buono e prezzi contenuti da quello che c'è in giro.
Accanto alla cucina italiana ci sono anche dei piatti cinesi molto buoni, spettacolare l'aperitivo cinese, da provare ma non in molti altrimenti io resto in piedi.
16/01/2025: Un ristorante orientale che riesce,in un batter d'occhi,ad allestire un pranzo per un bombo dai gusti estremamente difficili è sicuramente da promuovere a pieni voti!personale.gentilissimo,ristorante pulito e accogliente!
