26/01/2025: I had the pleasure of having lunch at Rifugio Genziana during a day on the ski slopes at Mottarone, and the experience was truly positive. The meal began with a platter of cold cuts and cheeses: excellent quality, fresh and tasty products, perfect for whetting the appetite. Next, we tried the polenta with braised meat and the polenta with cheese. Both dishes were well prepared, plentiful and tasty, ideal for a regenerating break in the mountains. To conclude, the tiramisu was a great choice: soft, balanced in flavor and delicious. The refuge is located directly on the slopes, which makes it extremely convenient for skiers. It is also an ideal solution for families who want to spend a fun day with the children, perhaps trying bobsleigh. There is a car park nearby, very useful for those arriving by car, and access is simple and well organised. In general, an excellent choice to enjoy typical dishes in a welcoming environment and with a spectacular view of the Monte Rosa Massif.

Accompanied by an excellent red beer, I can say without any doubt that it is one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten! Congratulations and thank you very much!

23/12/2024: Questa volta proprio no. UNA DELLE PEGGIORI PIZZE CHE ABBIA MANGIATO NELLA MIA VITA. BRUCIATA SOPRA, BRUCIATA SOTTO. Non è mia abitudine segnalarlo al momento (forse sbagliando) ma ci sono altri clienti e non mi va. Diciamo una mia cortesia al contrario di chi porta ugualmente una pizza bruciata al tavolo. Impossibile non accorgersene. Preciso: locale vuoto, tutto il temo per fare una pizza decente.

26/02/2025: From the photos on the internet it looked promising but very disappointing. Let's start with the "poster" on which it was written the complete menu €12 "excluding holidays", since in the world holidays are Sundays and public holidays but whatever, everyone interprets holidays as they want and can accept it. So I opted for 2 wraps with small beer and still water, we literally waited 20min for the two wraps... empty... 90% were empty, the ham was only in the centre, surrounded by lettuce and 2cm of tomato slice, including the hard stem part. We ask for explanations regarding €6.50 of empty piadina and they kindly make it again... it's a shame that it was empty the second time too. What we managed to eat was good, nothing to complain about, shame about the "composition and waiting time"

13/02/2025: I only went in for a coffee and croissant, the place was full because the weather was rainy but the environment is pleasant and the service very good.

07/03/2025: Small place, with an internal room that deserves approval. The lady at the counter is kind. The crepe with strawberries is good, it is served on a plastic plate with plastic cutlery. Overall it's a very decent place, but I don't think it deserves the enthusiastic comments I read.

29/12/2024: Wide choice of good ice creams and crepes; informal and detached service. Card payment accepted. The biggest flaw is touching food without sanitizing/washing your hands after touching money.

08/02/2025: Di passaggio ci fermiamo per la prima colazione. 1 cappuccino, 1 caffè doppio 1 brioche vuota 1 brioche con crema ( messa al momento ma palesemente decongelata come le brioches. €7,60 !!! Nemmeno a Venezia. Sul servizio nulla da dire ma costo veramente eccessivo.
