Il miglior posto dove trascorrere qualche ora la sera all' insegna del buon umore e del buon champagne ( merce altresi rara a Macugnaga) dove la differenza è data soprattutto dal savoir faire del personale che ti accoglie con le stesse attenzioni che di solito si riservano ad un amico di vecchia data....Jager "Uber alles"

12/02/2024: The new renovation is fantastic and has a romantic feel. The aperitifs were one of the best in the area. We wished we would have had the chance to go more. The service on entry was good but could of been a little more attentive after that. Superb bar!!

29/07/2024: My experience was positive, in addition to drinking a good coffee every time I am in Staffa, one evening I wanted to eat a pizza, it was full of people and tables booked but they arranged tables so that one could also come out for me, kind people and available and then what can I say....the pizza was fantastic, thank you Today after years I returned, they have changed management, it seems to me they don't make pizzas anymore, I only drank coffee but I must say fantastic staff, coinciding with the festival of the town of San Bernardo there were a lot of people at lunch, anyway all young and very kind, even if only to serve me a simple coffee, very nice place Today I returned, after about a month and I took the opportunity to enjoy lunch, luckily I had booked in the morning otherwise there wouldn't have been room, anyway excellent lunch, polenta with thickly sliced ​​city meat in wine and spices was really excellent, accompanied from an excellent wine and also enjoyed the dessert, all things done excellently by the owner's wife, the service good and fast, a view of the pink, what more could you ask for? 05/08/2024: I went the other day to take a walk in the beautiful Macugnaga, and then with the cable car I stopped to eat at the Rifugio Lago Smeraldo, being at more than 2800 meters the place is definitely worth a relaxing break. I ate outside, on the terrace with an amazing view. I ate very very well. There are many good things on the menu, I ate an excellent polenta with wild boar then I also tasted the braised meat, Macugnaghese pasta, and a fabulous cocotte of melted cheese with onions. There are also great desserts, yours made by them. I highly recommend a refreshing passage.

25/08/2024: A wonderful place! The food is excellent, I come back to eat here every time I go to Macugnaga. The Locanda never disappoints, everything is always delicious, generous portions and the prices are right. Highly recommended.

25/08/2024: I ate a really good ham and artichoke pizza, light dough and well stuffed. I gave 4 stars because I needed to review the pizza with vegetables made with frozen ones... The place seems nice and welcoming and the new management made up of young staff is kind and professional

We had the opportunity to dine in this structure as we were connected and we were able to see first-hand how Macugnaga's hospitality is at the highest levels. 08/03/2024: The lovely place. The people who welcomed me are truly special. Clean and well managed hotel. I stayed for two days for work and they made me feel at home. Last but not least their small restaurant; crazy. Excellent dishes presented in a starred restaurant. Excellent food in general. In short, I vote 10 and praise

10/09/2024: We are a company of motorcyclists. Six people stopped to eat. Work menu and at the end dessert and liqueur the lady made the bill of €30 each (work lunch €13) We definitely won't be back as the price wasn't adequate for the food.
